Within an unknown city on one of the buildings, In Terra...

How time works I find to be always weird in the mortal realms I swear on this day,

Strange to see light in the sky, not from the core of our race, but some random object,

Though that is a sort of beauty I suppose, that mortals use as comfort for their daily lives,

As they go about their day in the sunlight, unaware of my folk or any of the night folk for that matter,

As the folk of the night takes advantage of the ignorance of the populace of the day.

It's a bit of wonder the humans are still around, but that's expected of a race so diverse in everything they are,

They are the worst and best example of themselves as they shuffle about both highly invested and barely bothering,

It's something worth every form of admiration, though I wish they were a bit less... feral whenever they're in danger,

It's hard to harvest their emotions when they start panicking and harming all around them.

They should know they have nothing to fear from my kind, but they seem to come hunting for us if I don't remove their memories.

Such a hassle I keep finding, so few are willing, that its such a strange thing to me,

I have to keep reminding myself that they rarely ever dealt with my kind nowadays and have to realize my foolish train of thought,

My appearance is cute and cuddly, but it seems the sensation of emotions drained is too much for a conscious mortal to tolerate,

At least for the ones that are here, which does make hunting here such a pain, though I shouldn't blame them for their weakness,

As its something these mortals in this world haven't adapted to yet, though I worry for the survival of humans when the time truly comes.

When the worlds crash into each other, I will be there watching and observing their reactions,

When the races from the beyond make stakes into this world, whenever or if that ever happens to this world, I will be present,

As for when the night folk can no longer tolerate their presence only found within the night...it will be a sight for me to watch and a time to dine on their despair when that day arrives.~
