Somewhere in the Chaos Continent on Eklipses...

To look at a mirror and see oneself in it,

To see themselves mirrored within it and admit,

To see how they may appear, rather than how they think,

Actions taken as you see yourself, are naturally in sync.

Experiences mirrored in what details the eye can catch and fit.

. . . . .

The [Mirror Demon] pours themself a cup of tea, as they reflect upon this commentary spoken by the storyteller,

As the guest sit by themself for the moment, Mirror thinks further on this matter within its house cellar,

As the kind stranger sips his tea in silence in the darkest corner of the room,

As the stranger's cloak covering them from head to toe, with their smell easily masked by thick perfume,

The Mirror Demon sighs at all this, as it looks away from its guest, pondering what acts a host should do, as a dweller in their own home.

Letting the guest settle in, drinking the tea made on such short notice, though appears it was not for naught as they enjoy it,

As they relax and make light discussion with my kin as I go for a walk,

While its guest is occupied, the demon recalls what got it to this point and its future goal,

And even now, the jealousy it feels still lingers in its soul,

Remembering the night that the lake reflected the jealousy it felt towards the moon and the other folk,

Though on the night tonight, the full moon, appears serene and peaceful, with nothing obscuring it like smoke,

The Mirror Demon begins to stroll around the edge of the nearby pond, glancing around the waters, as it thinks further upon its role in the clan.

Once the weakest of the demon races, it is now one of the pillars of the community,

When its prospects were at their bleakest, it is now the head guard to protect the village's unity,

With the power to reflect and imitate others, it guards with sincerity and clarity,

This power born of envy and jealousy, It will gleefully use it for the village's...prosperity,

Oh yes, I should return to the guest, for this special guest may allow the village.

I cannot let this opportunity go to waste, for prosperity and sincerity's sake.~

Hope you can continue to enjoy this. That be all I plan to say(Updates will return to normal schedule), have a good day.
