Journal Entry: Day 8
Today was a good day. I had plenty of delicious food, went shopping and visited the local library. There is a lot to learn about this new world and all their traditions, customs and taboos. Sometimes things aren’t covered in the law, but are still forbidden or it is just common sense not to do it, but to an otherworlder, they may be something he does every other month or something. Tomorrow I plan to return to the library and continue to study this world. I have to be prepared before starting to actively search for a way home.

A chapter for this? Ah well thanks for the other stuff. Honestly the journals are pretty much useless if ya ask me I'd much rather have everything in the other perspective.
To be honest the journals are a way for me to keep track of how long she has been in this world. They take 5 minutes to write and are published with other chapters, so what's the harm, right?
@GreenerThanGreen that's fair my surprise was at this one paragraph getting it's own chapter for the most part. We'd normally keep infodumps like this at the end of chapters or in a special chapter 0 prequel chapter when i was editing a few webnovels cuz the only interested parties would actually look for those there and folks not interested wouldn't see a ton of chapters they had no interest in popping up. Anyways if it's like 5 min extra no harm no foul I guess.
