(Authors note- last chapter felt really rushed, this is not on purpose rather its because i was struggling to come up with good fight scenes, aswell as since a lot of other authors use the same uninhabited island i decided to just skip it but place it there so mc can be somewhat stronger

Also some may wonder why mc kept getting hurt when he has observational haki please just note that she was basically naked and he is entering puberty, it would clearly be difficult to fight without getting hurt.

One last thing I'm adding 2 more time skips because I'm really struggling to make up my own part of the story since most of my story is going to be with the strawhats, not on his own.)

During the last 10 years my daily life hasn't really changed much, all i've been doing is “sparing” with the old man even though it has still mostly been me getting beaten up 95% percent of the time.

 

If i haven't been training with Garp then i've been killing pirates and even though i've collected hundreds of millions of beri in bounties i haven't even got 1% in total which is annoying, only good thing that i can say is the amount of points I'm currently on.

My inventory still lacks a lot of things, so far all that's in it is my excellent grade sword - Kaminari, i also found out that my inventory keeps everything in a time-stasis, which allows me to store food and drinks without worry of rotting and spoiling. So I've stocked up 2 months worth of food and water, in case of an accident and a dozen or so sets of clothing for different weather.

The 3 treasure maps are decent but I probably won't ever use them because I highly doubt they will have any good treasures. I really don't know if I can say I'm lucky or not with that piano. It's the perfect thing for me for when I join the straw hats.

3 weeks later a marine boat arrives at Foosha village. 2 men are walking through the forest towards a log cabin in the mountains, one old one young.  " So old man what's your grandkids names?"

 

"Ghahah the oldest one is ace he is not really my grandkid but I treat him like one and the youngest is Luffy. He should be 7 by now.  And both are brats refusing to become marines."

 

"I should like them since I didn't want to join the marines either, however someone didn't really give me a chance did they old man. A young little civilian boy bleeding to death forced to join the marines just to get saved. Boohoo I feel I may cry. BHAHAH"

 

'BANG BANG BANG' Garp slammed his fist onto the wooden door repeatedly until a big ugly ginger lady opens the door screaming her head off

"WHAT DO YOU WANT SO EARLY IN THE MORNI…oh its you Garp how have you been recently have you gotten younger?"

 

"ACE, LUFFY GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE" she screamed again

 

2 boys came out the cabin after a few minutes yawning looking tired. One 11 years old the other 8 years old. 

 

"Bahahah they're just like you old man"

All 4 of then around them look at the young man who's laughing "they're just as lazy as you are"

 

'BANG' "DAMMIT old man stop smacking me." Tobi got pissed off and yelled at the old man whilst swinging his sword straight towards the old man's chest.

 

Garp just slightly moves to the side and the sword barely brushes past him so Tobi goes in for another swing. This time he does swift slashes and stabs consistently mixing up without using armament haki. Unfortunately none of the sword strikes managed to even touch the old man's skin. His t-shirt is basically shredded but because he managed to slightly dodge ever strike only his clothes were affected. This onslaught continues for about 3 minute before Tobi just sighs and gives up, whilst Garp just starts laughing

 

"Gahhaha what's that now brat 6394-9 right?"

The audience of 3 turned into an audience of more then 20 as the mountain bandits came out of the log cabin and every one of them is staring at the 2 men in shock whilst 2 have stars in their eyes due to amazement.

 

"Hey mister how did you get so strong to fight gramps like that?" The youngest of the 2 boys asks "stupid did you ignore the words the old man said at the end. He's only won 9 times out of 6403 matches." The older boy smacks the former on the back of the head

 

"When your fighting for your life for more than 11 years you naturally grow stronger."

"You 2 brats still being rebellious not wanting to join the marines?"

 

""Blah who wants to be a stinky marine"" both boys say synchronized. And both getting a heavy love smack to the top of the head.

 

"Bahahha I like these 2 a lot better then you Garp. They both remind me of myself 11 years ago."

"Hmm what do you mean mister? How do we remind you of yourself but younger?" Luffy questions. Ace also has a questioning look as well.

 

So I tell them the story about my life before joining the marines from my time with Robin til me being forced to join the marines. And both little kids burst into laughter. 

"Do you have any news on that girl you helped escape?" Ace asks.

 

I let out a sad chuckle "nothing that really helps me know her location. But then again she may not even remember me. Plus I doubt the old geezer will let me go meet her. So no I've not seen her In the last 10 and half years so she should be 19 now."
