Kei is a rather careless and idiotic boy. He may be smart in areas like math and science, but that won't take away from the fact that he's an idiot who makes mistakes.

For Cris, Kei was his best friend and he loved him. They both joined the swim club at the same time, they helped each other, and when the previous captain graduated, Kei proposed that Cris be the captain.
