Before going out today if someone had told Kaneki that he would be taking advantage of Rize like this then he would have not believed them but the softness of her lips aswell as her scent that lingered in his body was something that he couldn't deny even if he wanted to.

He felt exhilarated because his power amazed him. It was so easy for him to get an upper hand on Rize. In short he was overpowered. In a good mood Kaneki soon returned back to him home. He had thoughts of approaching Kanou to somehow become a half ghoul if things didn't work but their was no need for that now.

Kaneki after freshening up soon returned and lied down on his bed. He was all relaxed now with nothing to fear. "Hmm what should I do next then? With the threat of ghouls gone for me I can go and create a power like the Washuu clan and control this country but that's not my style of doing things." Kaneki thought out loud and continued while scratching his head. "Hmmm but I also can't let ghouls run wild and all. It might end up hurting Hide. I don't want him to suffer like he did in the original. He should atleast live a happy and decent life this time.....how about joining the CCG?" 

The more Kaneki thought on this the more he liked the idea. At the end he decided to join the CCG as an investigator by doing this he would not only get a secure identity for himself but also access to inside information.

He was still a freshman in his University so his age should not be a problem for him. With this in mind Kaneki soon fell asleep.

The next day after freshening up and filling up his stomach the first thing he did was to sit on the computer as he searched about the process for becoming a ghoul investigator.

He surfed on the internet for a while and before he knew two hours passed. The results of his finds were that he was indeed eligible for joining. The ghoul investigator academy starts its session at a different time compared to normal universities. So unlike his University which had already started its session a week ago the academy will start it's session from next month.

Which meant that the academy was still accepting applications. He filled up the online application for the entrance exam which was to happen next week. Before doing that he made sure to take cursory view of the syllabus. Most of it was basics which the original Kaneki already knew so it won't be a problem for him to clear the exam.

Today was Saturday and he didn't had classes today so he planned to tell the respective faculties about his intention of changing University on Monday at the same time he also felt that he should tell Hide about it before doing that so he had already set up a meeting with him at the Anteiku to which he agreed.

*Ring*

Kaneki entered the cafe and soon found his way towards the table where Hide was.

"Oh come on man! You were the one who called me and you yourself are late. Do you have some shame?" Hide said in a bad mood.

"Well my bad. I accept my mistake. I wasn't expecting you to show up so quick." Kaneki said.

"Ofcourse I will when you mention that you wanted to talk about something important." Hide said and continued "So? What is it?"

"Well...I plan to join the Ghoul Investigator Training Academy " Kaneki said.

"You plan to what?! Why?!" Hide shouted involuntarily before getting aware of the people around him and asked "Is there a particular reason?"

"You remember the news from yesterday. I've been keeping an eye on ghoul news for a while now and I came to a conclusion." Kaneki paused.

"What conclusion?" Hide asks.

"That despite the dangers of being a ghoul investigator. If I indeed become a good one the chances that I survive from ghoul attacks would definitely increase and seeing the current trend. The ghoul attacks will only increase."

"Hmmm, well you're not wrong....but still it would be dangerous." Hide said still not wanting his friend to join the academy.

"It would be more dangerous later if I can't fight the ghouls. Who knows...even that person next to us who is reading newspaper might be a ghoul." Kaneki whispered and continued "I don't want to be left at the mercy of others so I will be joining the academy."

Though Kaneki only whispered the person reading the newspaper shook a bit when he heard what he said 'Does he know?' was the only thought in his mind.

"Sigh, alright it's your decision anyway. Don't forget to protect me then when you grow so strong." Hide said.

"Don't worry your name will be put in my special list of people to be protected." Kaneki said.

"That sound interesting, how many people are there in that list?" Hide asked curiously.

"Hmm till now? Only you." Kaneki said while smiling.

Hide also smiled as he shook his head to his sides.

"Alright then, today the coffee is on me. Be sure to protect me in future." Hide said cheekily as he ordered two cups of coffee.

"I will." Kaneki replied.

After finishing the coffee Hide paid for the coffee and then both of them separated. While on his way back home Kaneki could sense that someone was following him. So he turned towards the alleyway to bait the person.

Seeing that his target has turned towards the alleyway the person rushed to catch up to him. Kaneki just walked straight for a while before finally stopping and turned around.

The person following him also stopped. He was the same guy who was at Anteiku reading the newspaper. "So you really knew that I was a ghoul." the person said.

"I didn't to be honest but now I do since you were dumb enough to expose yourself." Kaneki replied sharply.

"You won't be calling be dumb when I'll tear you piece by piece." the man's eyes turned read as he rushed towards Kaneki. A small tale grew out of his lower spine which pushed if forward and accelerated his speed.

Seeing this Kaneki also accelerated and before the man could realise Kaneki had also made a deep hole in his chest and retreated to not damage his clothes. 

Kaneki was prepared for this as he had already folded the sleeves of his shirt. So his clothes were not tainted with blood.

The male ghoul stared at Kaneki for a while before falling to the ground unwillingly thereby taking his last breath.

A series of claps rang out as Kaneki looked up and found a familiar face. 'So I was being followed by two people' Kaneki thought to himself.

The person jumped down from the top of the building and approached the dead body as she said while gazing at it "As forceful as ever. Just like how you were with me last night darling."

"Rize, why were you following me? Still planning to eat me eh?" Kaneki said.

"Ofcourse, but this time I plan to eat you in a similar manner as you did last time." Rize said as she placed her palm beside Kaneki and caressed his face after moving forward.

"Do you think I'll let you?" Kaneki asked. "Do you plan to stop me?~" Rize replied seductively as she brought her face towards his neck and started kissing and sniffing it hardly.

Kaneki would be lying to himself if he said he wasn't turned in by this but just then a sudden tinge of pain came from his neck.

"Soo delicious~" Rize made a face lost in pleasure as she let go of Kaneki's neck and gulped his flesh.

Kaneki looked at her bloody mouth as his wound healed. Rize looked at Kaneki and smiled while saying "Ooops I took a bite again. Do I get punished like last time aswell?" 

"Yes, yes you will and quite roughly." Kaneki said as he forcefully attacked Rize's mouth and started kissing her furiously not bothering the blood, it was his blood anyway.

Rize too lost herself to the pleasure as her breath hastened. This time Kaneki didn't held back as he tore Rize's top directly to fondle her breasts aggressively.
