Unfortunately, after a series of events including a systems crash and data corruption, all 8 chaps I had written to upload are gone. I will put this on hiatus until I have a good backlog built up, so look forward to it. I apologize for the likely long wait.

oof that sucks, sorry to hear that.
it won't help to get those chapters back, but for any future chapters (or any other files you consider important) it is a very good idea to immediately upload them somewhere for backup.
I'm doing this all on mobile, at the moment... the microSD card WAS the backup. Phone had an odd system crash and had to be restored from its backup files, which were on the same MicroSD card, and doing so somehow corrupted the files. Three weeks of writing gone, and that's just for this series. One of my others I was forced to prematurely end, because I had 64 chaps for it ready to go, three entire arcs leading to a good ending... and I cant remember any of it. Luckily, this series wasn't affected nearly as much, and the story is mostly still fresh in my mind. Lotta build up. But the hiatus will probably last a bit. Again, doing this on mobile... PREPAID mobile. But it will eventually continue.
@Darkakuahebi sorry if my reply came across as condescending, that wasn't my intention. but yeah, that's very unfortunate, especially for the other story. super weird how that corrupted everything, I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to happen.
If you're super super lucky, it might be possible to recover at least some of those files with automatic tools. An expert might be able to do more, but that's expensive :(
@EevieBeevie apparently, the micro SD card is now fried. Wont even detect it anymore. I mean, yeah it's four years old, but that should affect it. According to my Computer geek friend(dude builds em from scratch) the chip slightly damaged, so when the electrical signal went through it while I was booting the backup files, it fried the chip. It is visibly singed. As for the initial phone system crash? Apparently my phone has a hard limit on file storage, and I went past that... which caused the OS to crash. Stupid Samsung phone.
@Darkakuahebi Ah yeah, sounds like they're gone for good then. Sorry to hear that, I hope you're doing okay
