First and foremost, this story won't be for everyone. But if you don't mind a good build-up to yandere developments, well, I welcome you with open arms! First of, what exactly is a yandere?
...For the uninitiated, it's a state of madness. But madness is volatile, it devolves, and degrades into moral depravity, something that well, most grimdark novels share in common. That, or edginess is another way to describe them. Yanderes are crazy in love, a mental illness that inhibits them from the common sense. This is why they are dangerous individuals, capable of doing anything just for the other's attention. That is where their charm is, I feel. Yanderes devote themselves entirely to the person they love to an ominous degree, that it sometimes become endearing.
But what makes yanderes, yanderes in the first place? How is it possible for someone to go to the extremes so easily? So quickly even without a care for pacing nor character development? Many watered-down harem novels I've read often promote the yandere trope character without caring about underlying consequences. As if they've appeared out of thin air, or being 'transformed' without a proper build-up.
I feel that ScribbleHub has a severe lack of these types of stories, not more of the harem stories with one or two yandere characters, but a full-on yandere harem story that is built from scratch. One that takes attention and time to its characters.
This is what this novel (hopefully) is. Every volume tackles a different main heroine: their respective stories and the issues that they bring with them. And the main protagonist that becomes the center of their universes, will explore these perverse fetishes, obsessions that they eventually acquire from the madness. It will be a story of their journey, and their after story.
The question remains, if there is an after story for these girls. After all, they're bound to a harem. But a yandere harem is, well, a challenge to write for sure *chuckles*.
While you're reading through our protagonist, White's story, do keep in mind that everything he sees, even the most unimportant of things, is not as it seems.
That said though, the prologue of the story, which is essentially the entirety of Volume 0 and first half of Volume 1, is slow since they are chapters for introducing characters. While I'm not the best at writing prologues, the introductions to world-building won't be a snore either. I include game interfaces and insert art (yes, I draw) to make the reading experience more pleasant for the average lit-RPG fan.
Finally, I hope this story will become the entry novel for many towards the yandere genre, I hope I've shed some light on what I'm trying to write here on this platform, and that more people will be immersed into this lovely cult with me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this disclaimer, and happy reading!

Some other minor details: Volume 0 are auxiliary parts. You don't have to read them to understand the other volumes, but they provide some context. The narration starts as third-person, but moves on to become first-person perspective after Volume 0. I write in J-novel style, which means suffixes are sometimes attached to names. Finally, reading in night mode is preferred.
I see yandere, I read
Amen to that brother!
same
I generally do not like it to add new characters purely to dispose of them in a dramatic way, but if their entry was meaningful then its ok.
I am looking forward to it because it sounds interesting.
Thanks! :D
@Sinpathy Is this a polygamy novel?
@Sensei depends on how you view it. Do you count characters who are dead?
@Sinpathy Maybe? I’m asking if he will end up with multiple woman by the end of the series romantically.
@Sinpathy If your just going to be killing off each love interest until ones left I’ll probably skip this series.
@Sensei That is a yes, if you're asking on the whole. However, each volume focuses on only 1 heroine.
@Sinpathy Alright thanks for answering my questions sorry but I just don’t have the heart to read a series where each love interest dies off one by one.
@Sensei
@Sinpathy This is just a suggestion from a veteran Otaku but you might want to leave at least half of them alive at the end as your readers will start losing interest fast if the girls they like dies. Constant deaths of the girls will also cause readers to lose interest as they know what will happen.
@Sensei Talking about akame ga kill?
Or any other serious warnings?
@Sensei ...Veteran or not, I gave a disclaimer for anything that might put people off so they don't get false expectations. Yes, it is a harem, a yandere harem. I don't kill characters for no good reason, characters have real motives when I write them.
And yes, I get what you're saying. You don't want a character you've grown attached to get 'axed', but that depends on what type of character it is, and the execution. A good example of an enjoyable death-filled narrative is Overlord.
Anyway, anything that even mentions characters dying already counts as spoiler territory, so if you want to know what exactly happens, you have to read it for yourself to find out.
@Sinpathy I loved overlord but the author of that novel never really killed any of the main cast off minus the vampire Loli who was being brainwashed at the time but she was revived later on. I read the disclaimers and knew what to expect I just didn’t know how many of the girls you planned to kill off which is what led me to ask my earlier question to you . I don’t really have the heart to watch so many girls close to the MC die which is why I choose to not read this novel.
@Futang I’m talking about manga LN WN and anime in general killing off fan favorites tends to lead people to rage quite. For example Levi from attack on Titan so many people rage quite after his death.
@Sensei I understand what you mean, but currently its not really confirmed that he is really dead, no?
@Futang I’m pretty sure he’s dead unless the dude somehow became a Titian shifter I can’t see him surviving that blast. And even if he did survive he’s probably a cripple or heavily injured with little chance of recovery getting struck by that much lighting isn’t something someone from the attack on Titan universe can withstand and come out fine without being a Titan shifter.
@Sensei Like I said, each volume in this novel focuses on one character. The growth, or revelation of a yandere necessitates these deaths. If you're here for fluff, then you're not really suited for grimdark genres to begin with... Also if you want to start a discussion on how detrimental deaths are to a story, you can feel free to take this to a PM. As it is, I don't want my comment section flooded with things like these
@Sinpathy Trust me I’m not here for fluff and being a Yandre doesn’t exactly mean they have to die or kill someone else that’s just being a psychopath. There are different types of Yandre’s and not all of them involve death. When I clicked on this novel I expected some deaths and for him to end up with multiple girls not for only one girl to remain.
@Sensei Ugh. I've already mentioned. What you're asking for are essentially spoilers. And I don't like spoilers. But if you're asking if EVERY GIRL dies, then obviously not. It is a harem for what it's worth, and the characters sell the novel. I have a way of making the yanderes 'co-exist', but lives can still be uncertain outside of the main cast (the cover girl of each volume).
Also for the last time, please take this to a PM if you want to ask anything else. You're spamming my notifications over a very redundant conversation.
@Sinpath What’s a PM?
@Sensei
PM is private message, go to the author's profile and write what you want to talk to him there, especially if they are suggestions or questions that can generate spoilers
Anyway, I think the author has already given a big spoiler in his last answer, and honestly it's one that I loved, is that looking back, the main cast will be kept alive,
so we can sort of look like this:
protagonist = immortal until the end, if he dies has to resurrect otherwise the story ends or becomes game of thrones, so it has to stay alive
2nd characters = psychopathic girls from his harem (main cast) will be alive until the end
3rd characters = can be called weeds, are characters that don't make a big impact on being killed, , so they will probably die
But it's like I said, until the end, not until it's over, means that in the last chapters anyone can die
This is how I see this story, but I admit that I share your fear of some important / dear character dying, it's as if albedo of overlord died, or aqua of konosuba
@keke171 Thanks for answering my question the other guy made one and we had a nice chat about attack on Titan I agree with you the author gave enough spoilers although he was a little rude in his last comment. He could have nicely let me know that I was bothering him. Also I totally agree with you that a member of the main cast dying sucks if aqua from Konosuba or Albedo died I’d be really sad they are some of my favorite characters of all time. By the way do you want to know who had the highest chance of ending up with Kasuma from Konosuba?
@Sinpathy Well, i can deal with character deaths outside the harem. Harem deaths, though, would be a real killer (pun most definitely intended)
@Sinpathy Sorry for bumping this dead thread, and for disturbing your training (I read the announcement), just a couple things I want to mention. First of all is the spoiler function of comments.
You may or may not know about this, but if you don't, it's the red S at the bottom of the text box. If you have a spoiler, you can put it in here. In all honesty, you probably already know about this and just don't want to spoil the novel, period.
Secondly, I wouldn't have even given this novel a chance if I was uncertain if all the girls died. I obviously cannot speak for everybody, nor can I speak for even a good amount of people, but I do know that there will be people out there who would love to read a story about yanderes, but would really rather not go through the heartbreak of having characters they have grown attached to, die. With that being said, I will fully respect any personal preferences/opinions you have on spoilers and won't bring it up, again.
And finally, yes, I am fully aware of the disclaimer. My brain just doesn't do "Vague". It greatly prefers black/white information (why I was on the fence of reading this or not, for all it's worth. I know I'm just one reader and it's no skin off your teeth whether I like your novel or not. You said yourself, this novel isn't for everyone).
With allll that being said. I am genuinely looking forward to this novel. Character development is by far my favorite part of a novel, and it seems that is where a large chunk of your effort is going to be going towards. It's part of the reason I get so attached to characters in stories.
P.S. Good luck in service!
@LoRezInferno Thanks!!
