*Clatter*

At the middle of the day, I am now sitting at one of the seats near Matsukaze's stable alongside Sylphy and Miss Roxy, as currently Father Paul is running on an errand outside with his equipment carried with him.

*Slash, Slash*

And so, the physical training is left to us and we are to do as we please.

Rudeus :"(ragged) 76,77!". Rudy is still standing as he is swinging his Earthen sword downward, on and on until the number reaches 100.

Sylphy :"55,56!". Sylphy is now practising with him while using Rudy's wooden sword, but even then, she's barely keeping up with him as she isn't used to all this physical labor we two have been keeping up for all these days.

*Whoosh*

As I am now cooling down myself with Wind magic, our tutor, Roxy, is squinting her eyes as she observes the magic I am using.

Roxy :"It's ridiculous how you are able to do that?". She questions us three about Chantless Casting, something that our tutor recognizes as a Hard Feat to accomplish for all Magician across the globe.

Apparently, there's not that many capable Magician of up to Advanced level, only about 100, and the highest level that is Godly is countable by one hand, so that roughs up for how Special for understanding magic and mastering it truly is.

What I'm more inclined however, is about Archery, as they are rarely talked even with Miss Roxy who supposedly travelled continents for years now as a travelling tutor.

There's about 5 continents and 1 big area that she known about before she travelled here:

— Central Continent, which we are currently in, specifically somewhere inside Fittoa region, is the largest mass of land almost the size of America, with many trading happening at the cities, and so is the most flourishing of them all.

Placed at the upper left of the world, and I'm glad that I'm not at some warring and crisis-filled country, and hopefully no trap like Teleportation magic will make me switch to such place.

— Begaritt Continent, basically the harsh part of the Middle-East as it is filled with sands so there's no need to ask on how hot the desert is, and it is basically a kill-zone I don't want to pass on.

Placed down below Central Continent, and the path that leads to this are only 2 ways by feet.

– Milis Continent, almost the size as the entirety of the Middlr-East, possibly filled with religious people as Mother Zenith comes from there with Milis itself is a figure in their religion, some human-being that Transcended his Mortal state to that of God.

Placed down below the next continent, unfortunately is divided by the seas and the only way to travel from in between is by the sea.

— Demon Continent, is where Miss Roxy was born and lived before going out as an Adventurer, and it's even more hazardous than Begaritt with treacherous terrains and no shortage of predators roaming around everywhere aside from a few safe spots like the cities.

Placed on the upper right with its left facing the last surface continent, and it's the place where you'll get to meet many kinds of Demonic races.

— Heaven Continent, the tiniest of them all and is even tinier than Australia by size, and there's not many information regarding this piece of land, but rumour has it that it's not by 'normal' circumstances that you can go to and from this place, possibly by being able to Fly or Teleportation magic if they exist.

Placed on the top middle, and nobody in the near vicinity knows of what that place looks like, and what it holds within.

— Sea region, the biggest of them all, and the aquatic race that holds advantage over us is making us pay tolls and being wary of some perimeter that if you were to go beyond, You'll Be Hunted.

Roxy :"Aren't you curious?". The young girl besides me blurted out something out of nowhere. "Aren't you curious why your parents is a little wary of seeing me the first time?"

Me :"Maybe because you're quite a young Adventurer, Miss?". The reasoning is simple, she have a wand and a wizard hat, and bringing a briefcase means she goes places.

Roxy :"Having a Mage as an Adventurer is quite common, Eyn". She already warmed up to me as she uses my pet name. "It's because of my hair, take a closer look at it". She twirls her front bangs with it showing some color refraction, making it near green before she points at our left. "See some similarity between me and Sylphy, Eyn?"

The answer is light refraction, causing color to change visually but I don't really want to explain some modern knowledge since she might refer to me as a brain freak.

Me :"No, should we call for them now?". She nods lightly, and I see the two of them is laying on the ground heads up. "Rudy, Sylphy, Come Here!!"

With my word, they lift their head before looking at each other, and stands up hardly as they sway from being exhausted on the way here.

Rudy :"What's Up, Teach?". Rudy tries to charm his way through Miss Roxy with his half-assed smile and flurry look in his eyes, and it just gets through her head before looking at us.

Roxy :"Do you all know of the Superd race?". We all shakes our head, though I have some suspicion that it's the race that was being led by Laplace. "They are the scariest Demon race back in a war between the Humans and Demons". She goes on to take a seat as she sits on the back of it, facing us below her. "Let me tell you, the origin of the Three-eyed Demons"

When she said Three and eye in the same sentence, I knew that this'll be a rather gritty and dark existence of this world. 'God, I hope they' re not Dajj-… Let's hope this world isn't 2nd Earth after the Fall of Civilization or something`

. . .

. . .

. . .

Our tutor ramble on about the Superd race and her's in general.

Their characteristics of having a tail in their early life before snapping it out of their body and having it as their lifeline weapon on some shape of a Spear is literally something out of a Fantasy setting, which we are living now currently.

Green hair, the same color as their leader, Laplace, alongside another bodily sense which is also the most ridiculously overpowered thing I have ever known in my entire life : 6th Sense or rather, Heightened Senses, of being able to see in the dark, seeing things from afar with clean imagery, and knowing something indiscernible from the naked eyes is quite literally a Cheat that only the Superd have as of my current knowledge.

Now they are rumoured to be extinct, with the remnant of their civilization now gone near the Demon Continent as they have been 'Enchanted' something by Laplace, which made them go on a murderous rampage. From foes to friends, enemies and families, they don't discern the difference and just goes on and on a killing spree until the time comes where the 'Enchantment' is gone and the Superd are left to the wind, nowhere to be seen.

They live a long life similar to the Elves from how they're always perceived as, up to centuries alongside their used-to-be neighbors, the Migurd race.

Roxy :"And unfortunately, I'm that of a Migurd myself"

Rudeus :"So you're old then, teach?". Somehow, Rudy really goes on the front on having rude responses that he may or may not realized by now, as turn to face me with his pupils franticly shaking, asking for help.

Me :"He likes older woman, teach~!". This is something that I really used to charm some big figures of woman in the line of my work, and to my surprise, they worked half the time.

Rudeus :"Yes, Yes! I love mature woman like teach!". Rudy thanks at me since he winked at me in his right eye for gratitude.

Sylphy :"E~h? Then Sylphy can't be liked by Rudy, then?". She is now sulking with her 1st friend Rudy more in line to older woman than younger girls like she is.

The situation somehow turning into a comedic moment, with Rudy caressing Sylphy on how he doesn't hate younger girls either makes Roxy and me cringes on how far this conversation strayed from.

Roxy :"*Sigh*. Yes, about 40 or more, I think"

Rudy :"So like Sylphy who is an Elf, you're basically the Elves of Demon Continent?"

Roxy :"Yeah, you can say that, as we hardly mature in our body until at least 2 centuries is met". She glances at the shining sun that is now riding down, maybe at about 2 to 3 P.M as of now. "Is there anything else you do in this time?"

I faces Rudy and we two have snickers visible on our face, as we'll be having our selves a show for them.

Me and Rudeus :"Yeah! / Yes!"

Miss Roxy is confused on what is going to be shown at her, and it doesn't take long for her to notice what's coming after this.

. . .

. . . Minutes later. . .

. . .

After some winding up, there sits Sylphy and Miss Roxy on the chairs near a table as they spectate our preparation for the next show : A Mage Knight to be Duel.

*Fwip*

Conjuring Water Ball on my left hand, I hold my Earthen sword on my shoulder as I then point it at him while standing around the 'box' that we both etched using our swords, a temporary arena.

Me :"So, ready for another bout?"

*Sizzles*

On my front stands Rudeus who is Conjuring Fire Ball, as he stick his Earthen sword in the dirt.

Rudeus :"Just some moments, yeah?". He is still recovering from his sword swinging session as he gasps for the air around him.

There exists Styles or Stances that one must specialize upon or they will only be regarded as a Man with a Sword, and not a Swordsman is :

— Sword God Style, focuses on being Aggressive on the frontline with all your might to end the fight in a matter of seconds. It does not matter that you are hurt, what matters is that your enemies are clearly hurting, and you will continue to do so until they are defeated.

— Water God Style, focuses on being Defensive on the backline as you only waits for when the moment to redirect your opponent's momentum to strike back at them. Despite the sheer prowess of your opponent, remember that they are able to be hurt by themselves, and you can use that against them.

— North God Style, focuses on being Dirty with an emphasis on utilizing everything you can use from throwing your sword, scattering dusts to blind the enemy, using throwables to ease the battle to a T, and many other dirty tactics.

*Whoosh*

And I as of now, is taking on the Water God Style despite my energetic personality as I want to use everything I have as an option to switch in between.

Rudeus :"Pucker Up, You Brat!". He throws his Fire Ball to me without counting numbers as always.

I throw my Water Ball to his Fire Ball, and so the fight starts.

*Poof*

Smoke spreads out to all my view, and I take a defensive stance that is reminiscent of the past, with my legs sidelines as the one's behind as the foundation and my arms holding my sword sideways.

Rudeus :"Hiyah!". His voice is the one sign that alerts me and makes me strengthen my stance, as the smoke clears out and his figure is seen charging with his sword slashing downward.

*Tack!*

I let my sword touch the 'edge' of his blade before redirecting it to his right.

Rudeus :"Tch!". He then improvises this by having it be a horizontal slash like that of a Greatsword.

*Swoosh*

I evade it by lowering my body, like dodging bullets Matrix-style.

Since there is a fraction of time that I can utilize to stun him in his place, I go and switch my style from Defensive to Aggressive , and I aim my sideline slash at him.

*Tack*

Me :"Khh!". Turns out to be the feign that he used from the forest back then, something that I haven't overcome with how dwindle my power is right now, and he have me block his surprise attack just now, and I switch back to take a Defensive stance again.

Another unexpected thing happens, as this Duel is now turning from Pure-brunt slashes, to a Power-fantasy battle.

*Fwoosh*

There comes a shockwave which propels us both.

Me :"Oh Come O~n, you're mixing Magic again?!"

He launches some Rock Bullet on the fly, and he is going real fast on my direction as he points his sword at me like a flying arrow.

Rudeus :"Come And Get Some!"

I conjure a concentrated Earthen Barrier that is barely the size of me in length and width from the ground and block the bullets that'd possibly hit me, as in the meantime I Enchant my sword with Touki.

Rudeus :"Hyah!"

My eyes meets his alongside the swords, as the ends of our blade now crashes with each other.

*Crack!*

Our Earthen swords' made an impact negatively, as both now is being made into ashes and scattered to the ground like always.

Rudeus :"Oh, I'm Not Done Yet!". He makes another replacement as dust is spiralling to the shape of a sword on his hand.

I conjure mine with a new one, as he is pointing his sword while waiting for the right moment to strike.

*Chirp, chi-Swoosh*

With him now lunging at me, I harden myself as I prepare to use a technique from the past mixed with the current situation : Anti-Thrusting Technique.

*Smack!*

My sword touching his is the signal for me to redirect it to my right while put a concentrated force on my left leg as to hold his sword down.

Rudeus :"What The-"

Dumbfounded with his body still recovering as I stunned him in place, I continue on to push him down with a side 'edge' of my sword to him.

Me :"Checkmate"

*Thump*

On the ground, fully in no state of being able yo recover, he yield with him undoing his Earthen sword back to the ground as it vanishes.

Rudeus :"Ngh, I almost had you~!"

I feel very proud that my past skill is now getting back on track to some degree.

Me :"That you do, so try harder, yeah?". I reach my hand out to him, and he picks himself up with his own strength.

*Clapping*

Sylphy :"You're so awesome, Rudy!". The elf that is very fond of Rudy is running to him as she hugs him tightly after the fight.

The tutor is flabbergasted with how we did on our bout just now, and she goes to the entrance of the house before us.

Roxy :"… *Sigh*. Am I really fit for this, I wonder?"

*Clack*

She enter the house as we three are catching up to her, and I can't wait to give her some other surprises of our own in the long run.

*Ker-chak*
