Chapter 11: I Have Gained The Blessings Of Two More Evil Gods

I had been walking inside of a great darkness, but this felt rather natural to me as if I were home. Something that really shocked me a lot but I laid it to rest as I had appeared in the form I was in when I was fighting the evil gods, or outer gods as we would know them on Earth. My senses were picking up something again so I stared at the great beyond of the abyss.

“Who goes there?”

“She really does have the senses of an evil god”

“Even appears to look like one as well”

Two voices came from the great darkness and suddenly they were given physical form. One was someone I knew very well, it was Lythalia-sama who gave me her children so I could take care of them the other I wasn’t so sure. It appeared to be some huge humanoid cat wearing Egyptian clothing and had nine tails each with an individual eye. 

“Lythalia-sama what a pleasure to meet you”

“Indeed. I must thank you for raising Lyst and Thabis for us”

“It is a pleasure, are you taking them back?”

“No, they are fine adults now. They will decide whether they want to enter our realm or not, however some time in the future I would like to introduce ourselves as their parents”

“That’s kind of hard because they recognize me as their mom”

“As they should, we wanted them to have the sensibilities of a human so they could become leaders and such to them. Seems common sense is lost on them because of your nature”

“Eh?!Don’t blame me I was put under a lot of stress!Anyway who is the god beside you Lythalia-sama?”

“This is my husband or wife depending on how you view them, Bast”

“I see, p-pleased to meet you B-Bast-sama. Why are you staring at me for so long?”

“Your soul is very distorted”

“Eh?”

“Your soul no longer resembles that of a human’s. It is now familiar to that of an evil god, because of the thing inside of you that was largely ignored or unnoticed by the gods of your world.”

“What is inside of me?”

“The Yggdrasil seed. It was a seed that came from a great tree that spanned universes and had a great influence in the aeons of past, having a single seed inside of one’s soul could make them like the Great Azathoth, the evil gods each had a single seed inside of their soul hence why they did not seek one but that didn’t change the ambitions of weaker gods, it is an ancient relic of a long forgotten and aged past. Many sought this seed but never found it as you were already told it can raise others to become god like beings, you due to being blessed by my wife ended up having your soul transformed to be similar to that of an evil god.”

“So will I look like this to everyone else?”

“No. You will appear as normal as your dark elf form”

“Hurray!”

“I must thank you as well, Lyst and Thabis have grown to be fine gods. I hope when we get to properly meet after this said war we will have a grand time.”

“Now it is time for you to awaken”

“Goodbye Yukiyo”

“See you soon”

“I’ll be talking to you guys soon. And take care!”

I was now returning to the world of the awake but still had questions to ask these guys.

“Before you leave!”

“Hmm?”

“What is it?You’re about to wake up”

“Am I doing the right thing?Taking all of these people and rising them up to be beings of great power?I mean am I even doing something which is good right now?”

“Are you seriously asking an evil god a question of morality?”

“She is more serious and thoughtful than I imagined. I will answer your question: Yes they are weak in the eyes of the world, it is in your status after all. You’re a mother to the weak and raise them up, for the strong you are a challenge and will always be their aspiration. Strive for more, I cannot say its a part of your destiny but it is your journey you figure out what you want to do with it.”

I was reassured by the pair as I was now drowned in light with their smiles being my sendoff. I slowly began to drown into a void of light that made me feel happy as I was waking up and now opening my eyes.

“You’re awake?”

“…..yeah….wait what am I sleeping on?”

My cheek was on something really soft and then I noticed I was staring right into Shen’s eyes, she was giving me a lap pillow whilst caressing my head gently as if she were a mother with her child. I could have risen up but I chose not to because I was really comfortable everyone else including the kids I was left to take care of were busy sleeping. 

“How long have I been out?”

“About 3 days”

“Wow, that long huh?”

“You forgot some gods and ended up giving strength to yourself, the Fenrirs and myself. You are always so reckless”

“Is this a sign you care for me?”

“Tch”

Shen clicked her mouth whilst looking to the side, before staring into my eyes once again.

“I met the Fenrirs’ parents, they said they are proud of me and you.”

“That’s why I was given such powerful skills”

“Negate Elemental Magic, Void Claws, Void Roar, and finally Time Attribute Magic”

“Oh dear you’re becoming more and more OP damn…ah just a second I might need to check how even more strange I have become”

She had hit the one mil mark of stats, if she were a novel protagonist the other novel MCs who were hard working and sweating blood would complain at how fast she was growing. Where the fuck was she going with such strength?She had to ask herself that but decided to shut up because she already knew from the moment she was told by Lythalia and Bast. She would certainly be too strong for the people of this world obviously, then a certain thought hit her. What if she travelled other worlds and dimensions just to see what they are like, and maybe just maybe if she travelled far enough she might meet a world similar to that of Sword Fantasy and play as the final boss. She felt shivers coming over her body when she though of that.

“What is it that is going on in your horrible mind?”

“Shen would you leave this world with me and travel other dimensions and worlds?”

“Yukiyo…..are you okay in the head?What the fuck are you talking about?That is absurd no matter how you spin it”

“Ah…..I know but we will eventually grow stronger and stronger in this world. Eventually we will hit a wall what then?”

“Hmm”

“Exactly so what if our strength might be the norm in a world where such is very weak to the higher beings of that world”

I got up from Shen’s lap and began to sit upright with my face having a large grin on it. Once we were done with this world we would travel other different worlds and meet all sorts of people there even defeat world ending threats there. The sky is the limit, man I can hear that song even after being reincarnated. Anyway I had seen that the dungeon was fashioned to look even more like a room than before. Those kids are working hard to make use of the Demon Lord skills, I will have to do my best to protect them against any scumbag heroes. I walked out of the room with Shen and met with the faces of the kids I was told to take care of. 

“You’re awake!”

“Yup, sorry I got you guys worrying for lil old me.”

“No it’s alright we were concerned about what would happen if you were to depart from this world.”

“I would be fine, I fought with two elder gods after all.”

“Ah….”

“She is right y’know”

“Indeed”

“What an absurd person”

“I have to presume that you guys are from Japan right?”

The trap answered for everyone else which was a good sign but I felt something off about that.

“Let me guess it might not even be the same Japan where you guys came from”

“Yukiyo-sama is certainly perceptive, how did you figure?”

“Simple. I know where your uniform is from, and checking the others’ uniforms all have a different vibe about them that said. I appraised all of you and some unique details came out and I learned what I needed”

“Minami-chan please don’t, stay the way you are otherwise you won’t be to handle it any longer”

“Alright then!I hope you guys rested plenty in here cause all of us are going to be entering a training period”

“….Please be gentle with us”

“Worry not, I will not do anything too dangerous”

I smiled brightly as everyone’s faces excluding Shen’s became pale, just as I did so Geri, Freki, Shiro, Kuroe and Sev had returned from their little trip from another dungeon.

“The poor souls”

“I pity them”

“Mama please don’t be hard on the older brothers and sisters!”

“Please show restraint”

“Yukiyo despite not knowing you much, I have to say please do not be too rough on them. They are all still level ones after all?”

“WHO DO YOU GUYS TAKE ME FOR!!”

“A slime with a dark elf’s appearance who just fought two gods of awesome power and managed to live to tell the tale”

Everyone answered all at the same time, I had frozen in place and thought about that for a moment.

“I-I guess you guys are not wrong. I’ll make sure I do not know too much for these guys”

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief causing me to take a little bit of mental damage from that. I am normal too guys, aren’t I?
