Avdol also underwent an attitude change but decided he should stick to his beginning goal of learning if the angelic man had a Stand.

After interacting with Avdol for a few minutes, DIO concluded how to handle Avdol. People like Avdol had incredible Wills that were almost impossible to conquer. Avdol had the strongest Will seen so far, it even seemed golden in a way.
These people could only be conquered if charmed by DIO first.
The way to activate this condition to charm someone, must either admit they are below DIO or must say they will follow DIO and mean everything they speak. Once their soul admits these things, a person would just need to be stamped or guided by DIO's words until they eventually follow him.
After all, a soul and tongue are very different in the end, but the soul will always remain true to one's heart. Anyone with a strong Will can have their soul falter for a moment.
Avdol was a man with great potential and Will, only fools would pass the opportunity to obtain a free servant with potential like his.
The only way, for now, would be to obtain his recognition through words and mental suggestions through conversation. If things did not go as planned, then DIO would lose a valuable chess piece that can manage Egypt in his place.

After talking for quite some time, DIO and Avdol came to familiarize themselves with each other a bit more. To DIO, this man was a Stand User with a strong Will. To Avdol, the adonis was like a golden fountain that radiates an aura of majesty everywhere.
DIO was already finished with his preparations and knew it was time to move to the final act of this story. Quickly, DIO decided to change the atmosphere of the restaurant and stare coldly at Avdol and pronounce.
"I understand you have power most mortals do not."

"It would make me very happy if you would let me see it." After saying this, DIO licked his lips as if he was preparing to eat a meal.
These acts in turn made Avdol shake in terror. Only now did he realize how terrifying DIO could accurately be!
DIO's words brought great peace to the soul of Avdol! They had a dangerous sweetness to them, which was exactly why DIO was so terrifying!
"Join me. Avdol!"
As DIO said this, Avdol couldn't help but contemplate what he should do, 'That cold gaze which feels as if it would pierce my heart... His golden-hair... His nearly transparent alabaster skin... and his overwhelming presence makes him unlike any normal man!'
'This man, whether he is truly a Stand User or not, has shown me the qualities of a true leader.'

Right after Avdol spoke, he already was knocked out and conscience. This was because of an insect that bit Avdol right as he spoke. DIO had already met the conditions and decided to add his Stamps on Avdol, completely changing his personality to follow DIO.
DIO already cleared his conditions, and Avdol was completely conquered. In case something went wrong with an enemy Stand from Avdol, DIO placed a few cockroaches and spiders on Avdol's back, by shapeshifting his pinkies.
This shapeshifting skill of his from becoming an Ultimate Being was very similar to future Giorno's Stand Ability.
"Avdol, I want you to try to find more Stand Users, without exposing yourself."

He did this in case Avdol decided to attack DIO. These cockroaches would then turn into Australian Box Jellyfish inside of Avdol's shirt, killing him very quickly.
DIO also turned his other fingers on the hand in his pocket into an Inland taipan to kill the restaurant owner, but he seemed to have escaped after killing the snake.
The Inland Taipan is not just a venomous snake, it's considered the most venomous snake in the world by many people. When compared to other snakes, it is considered a king of lethal venom. It can kill 100 grown men with a single bite.
Being able to kill an enhanced version of this Taipan was relatively rare, but nothing enough to make DIO want to personally investigate since he would be gone after getting Requiem for a long time.
The Australian Box Jellyfish was one of DIO's favorite forms for many reasons. These sea wasps (Chironex fleckeri) are Box Jellyfish which are considered one of the most dangerous creatures of the sea for their lethal injections.
The Australian box jelly poison (Carukia barnesi) is very unique for being able to kill right after an injection, so using them at very long ranges is very important. Of course, DIO had to research many different species to find that he had a great affinity for the jellyfish and insect forms.
For example, leaving a few ants on someone in Africa will turn into an insta-kill jellyfish if they ever disobeyed him, without DIO needing to personally do it since the jellyfish were him. If he put this on Avdol and told him never to leave Cairo, then Avdol would be forced to listen, or the ants would turn into Australian Box Jellyfish, instantly killing him.
This tactic would work best just in case a Stand User somehow by a miracle broke DIO's amazing Optic Stamps. If this impossible task was accomplished and they pretended to be faking to sneak attack DIO, they would be killed instantly without DIO even needing to move a finger, well just his pinky a little.
DIO always kept a backup plan for his servants, making sure to leave some ants while regenerating his fingers again and again until he had every single person he met in this world carrying at least a few ants. It wasn't that DIO was paranoid of a few mortals, but he was just being cautious!
This would also make him the god of the earth in a way, just by having some ants on someone, he could end their lives with a thought. It was truly a cheating kind of shapeshifting power, but that idea would be left for another day.
For now, DIO decided it was time to get moving but first remembered to record his skill to see it in his records.

Getting Requiem was still DIO's goal, and while Avdol stays in Cairo to look for more Users since he is very familiar with the city and has Stand tracking powers, DIO will be moving towards Kars in the meantime.
