" Hey! Alex. Where do you live?"

" Do you have a girlfriend?"

" Why you have worn a blindfold?"

After the class ended Alex was bombarded with series of questions. Most curious girls were asking personal questions.

" I live in capital. I have a girlfriend." Alex said.

" And what about blindfold?" A girl asked.

" It's because some accident, I became blind. So I wear blindfold." Alex said in sad tone.

Girls started telling sorry but after some time many girls lost interest in him because they thought him to be blind. While boys were happy inside.

Classes continued and nothing interesting was happened which could catch interest of Alex. After some time it was break for recess.

Alex thought of taking a stroll around to explore the campus. The campus was big. There were all type of buildings that are needed. Most commoners live in dorms. While nobles come from their house. 

There was also a part of demon forest on one side of campus. It helps in training purposes and students also go to practice in forest. But when Alex goes to check inside he founds it to be outskirts of forest where low class beasts were found. Students were not allowed to go deep because it may be dangerous.

And in fear of beasts nobody go deep in forest. Alex thought taking a bit nap beneath a tree. 

Zzz.....

He heard a sword swinging sound. From the sound he could tell somebody was fighting with a beast. But then he thought that nobody should be here. It means somebody trespassed to fight with beast.

He got curious. After all students had a fear and were unwilling to fight beasts to improve. Most of them only duel with each other to show superiority. Even some invited to Alex but he refused. They may think him a coward but sadly he don't have time.

He woke up and saw a boy of same age fighting a saber tooth tiger. Saber tooth Tiger is a D ranked beast. This beast uses mana to reinforce his body. If an E rank fight against it properly, he/she can defeat it. But the boy struggling to defeat it. 

But then Alex saw that the boy was only fighting with Aura sword. Aura is a term used when mana is solidified. 

When a person covered his sword with solidified mana it is called Aura sword. It is like Armament Haki but is lot much weaker. While Haki uses will and intent, Aura uses mana.

Alex then noticed that the boy haven't even strengthen his body through mana. It caught Alex's interest.

' He has a good battle sense. Good reflexes as well. But reaction time is a bit slower. And the way he use sword is crude. As the battle goes he will win but he will be fully exhausted.' Alex evaluated the boy.

As Alex guessed the battle ended with boy's victory. But he was exhausted.

Alex goes near him and saw him taking heavy breaths. The boy noticed him and asked him in a soft voice," Who are you?"

" Me? Well I am someone who saw you fight with the tiger. And I got interested in you." Alex said.

" Sorry, but I swing that way." The boy replied in an apologetic tone.

A vein popped up on Alex's forehead.

" Do you want a beating brat? I mean the way fight." Alex angrily replied.

" So, why you aren't using mana except aura sword?" Alex asked him.

The boy was bit surprised at his question. Alex noticed his surprised face and asked," What happened?"

" No I thought you were blind. And came to make fun of me." The boy replied.

Alex got angry at his remark. For some reason his remarks make Alex angry. He calmed himself. Then replied," I am not blind. For a particular serious reason I am wearing this blindfold. But even without blindfold I can see the things more better than anybody."

" Sorry." The boy replied.

Somehow Alex accessed the boy's personality during this exchange. This boy is kind and also have a will to become strong but for some reason he has low self esteem. He is a type of guy who is bullied.

" Now answer my question ?" Alex asked.

" The reason I don't use it because I have don't have much mana." The boy replied while scratching his cheek.

Alex without any emotion asked," What is your rank?"

" I am rank E." The boy said with downcast face.

Alex listened him and used Observation Haki to scan the boy's body. Then as he saw the body was almost empty with low mana reserves. But then he saw a small bright light in his abdomen. He focused more and then found that a raging storm of mana was sealed on the spot. And a dragon was there. It tried to intimidate Alex but Alex released Conqueror Haki and it stopped. The raging storm also stopped. The boy also felt the Haki from Alex and feeled his change in mana core.

' He is so strong.' The boy thought.

Alex stopped and then asked in a straightforward manner," Why your dragon mana have been sealed?"

Boy was shocked at his question but he knew he couldn't hide anything. He replied," My dragon mana is sealed because whenever I try to use it, it tries to devour me. For some reason I can't control it." 

Alex knew the problem of this boy. Alex thought a bit and agreed in his mind to teach him. He then looked at the boy and said," Come tomorrow at this spot. I will help you with the dragon mana."

The boy was a bit cautious. After all if a stranger told you that he will help you, but who will trust the stranger? But then he thought that Alex was strong even to notice the dragon mana. And the pressure he released was able to calm the dragon. If Alex wants to kill him he can easily do it inside the woods.

After thinking a bit he decides to trust him for a bit. He agreed with Alex.

" My name is Alex Lockheart." Alex said.

" My name is Ross Beltross." The boy said.

They exchanged names then Ross returned towards the academy. Seeing him somehow Alex was reminded of himself.

' His will to become is strong as me in past. But I was thriving for revenge. I had a will to become stronger. But this boy don't have a will to become strong. He just wants to be strong. His body is also messed up. Well I will try to teach him a bit. It's been while I got to do something interesting.' Alex thought.

Then Alex returned to class and was bored while listening to lectures. The classes ended and Alex was just returning towards his mansion. Then suddenly system window appeared.

"Finally a main quest! I have been waiting for it. But details are not described properly. But the difficulty is easy so no problem will occur. In rewards there is a devil fruit box. If I got lucky maybe I will get a good fruit. Like tremor tremor fruit or rumble rumble fruit. Hehehe...."
