"More powerful? That's insane..!"

Yamcha said with a shock as he was carrying Goku to the jet.

"Powerful doesn't begin to describe them."

Krillin who was helping Yamcha to carry Goku said because he clearly felt the overwhelming power of the Androids during the battle. Alex helped Chichi and rest to move the necessities to the jet. After couple of rounds, all the belongings were fully loaded in plane.

"Now all we have to wait for Gohan..." Krillin said after sorting out the bags.

"Krillin! Is Gohan Goku's son?"

"Yes."

"It seems Goku named him after Grandfather." Alex said.

Then he felt a surge of Ki coming from sky. He came out of plane to see a small figure flying towards them in a high speed.

'The Ki is overflowing... Must be Gohan.'

"He's back." Chichi said as she saw her son coming back.

Gohan who was flying came down and saw everyone packing and leaving the house.

"Huh? Wh-Why is everyone here...!? Did something happen?"

"We'll tell you on the plane."

Krillin without wasting any time, quickly called everybody and Yamcha quickly took off the plane to depart.

And Krillin started to narrate his story about the battle with Androids.

"...So they think killing Goku is just some kinda game..."

Trunks, Gohan, Chichi and Yamcha listened to his story while Alex was sitting with his blindfold which made harder to know where he was paying attention or not.

"Th-They are that powerful..." Gohan said after listening Krillin. Somehow he was shaken and it was obvious. Because even though he was a Saiyan, he is a child.

"Yeah... Way stronger than what Trunks told us..."

"What are we going to do...?" Yamcha who was piloting the plane asked Krillin.

"Don't ask me! What should we do?" Krillin replied. He had no solution to get out of the current situation.

"How about this... I go further into the past with my time machine... and destroy them before they are activation! We know where Dr. Gero's lab is now."

Trunks gave a solution that is feasible enough. He thought of going back in past and destroying the lab to destroy the Androids.

"That won't work." Alex who was sitting lazily gave his insight for this matter. Even though he won't help it doesn't mean he can't give them way to beat Androids. All of them were looking at him to say more.

"Why wouldn't it work, Alex-san?" Yamcha asked Alex.

"Listen. There are three flaws to his idea. First - Even though Trunks returned to past, bypassing the time itself it a great feat. But it isn't easy. And I am sure the time machine must have some restrictions. And I think, it can't used as the user wishes."

Alex said about his thoughts in a very logical way. Time is a very mysterious force. Bypassing time itself is already a great feat. But it is sure to add burden after all it isn't that easy to move freely in time. Time machine can't be used nilly-willy. 

"Will you be able to get back to the future after going further in the past?" Krillin asked Trunks as he understood Alex.

"I don't know..."

"See. He isn't sure about it. Now the second problem. What guarantee is there, that if he destroys the androids in past will have its effect in this time?"

"..!!!"

All of the rest were in shock. After all what Alex said made sense. If Trunks goes back past and destroys the lab, then what would happen to the androids who are already out?

"Oh... That's right! The future of that timeline would be saved from the androids... But there would be no change in this timeline where the androids still exist." Trunks said as if he forgot a fact.

"Wh-What do you mean?" Krillin would couldn't understand asked once more.

"Krillin. He means that there will different timelines created due to interaction of a variable." Alex said.

"I still didn't understand quite correctly."

"Okay... For example your Goku's life was saved by the medicine I brought from the future. But in my timeline, Goku still died from the disease. In order words, there is both a future in which he lived. Each change in past creates new futures." Trunks explained the rest very clearly with examples.

"W-Wait a second... Then, even if Goku defeats the androids here wouldn't they still exist in your future?" Krillin asked.

"That's right."

"Then... What was the point of coming to the past if your future isn't going to change?" Yamcha asked to Trunks.

After all, everybody thought that Trunks came to past, so that androids would be defeated in past so that they won't appear in future where he came from. But now, they realised that regardless of result, Trunks future timeline isn't going to change! Then what's the point of coming to past?

"Mom said it's so horrible what androids did to us... That there deserves to be a peaceful future where they've been destroyed. But Also maybe I could find their weakness by watching Goku fight them. And if that didn't work then maybe we could bring Goku to our future with the time machine. But I've come to past that's slightly different from the one I knew. The timing of Goku's illness was different. There are three androids, and they're much much stronger..."

"B-But why is it different?" Gohan asked.

"I don't know... What changed? Is it because I used the time machine before...?" Trunks said as if he couldn't understand what went wrong that the past changed.

"Don't worry yourself about it. Goku would have died if you hadn't come! I'm thankful for that!" Chichi expressed her thanks to Trunks. If he didn't come from future, then Goku would have died for sure.

"That's right. Don't think too much. I'm also thankful to you. Not just you but to rest of you too as well for taking care of Goku. Don't worry. Everything will just work fine."

Alex said to everybody to give his thanks and also to dispel the bad atmosphere and give hope for the next fight.
