I drove through the rough terrain of the forest as I made sure to keep directions in mind.
After nearly two hours when my butt was starting to hurt. I stopped in the middle of a clearing and got off my horse.
I gathered leaves and branches as I started a fire. I made sure the fire won't spread through... Then I grabbed my sword from its hilt and used the blunt part of the sword... I slapped it to my horse it was immediately startled and galloped away.
After that, I rode on the last remaining horse and drove forward. I needed to cut off my traces in case someone chased me.
After another hour... I got off my horse.
*sigh... I couldn't help but sigh at this point, I needed to continue the journey on foot to fully trick pursuers.
"Go... make sure you lead people away" I beckoned the horse as it started running away to the west.
Then with a sword and a large sack on my back.
I headed to my original destination deciding not to detour anymore.
But to reach that place and avoid suspicion, I needed to reach it fast... And so I started jogging towards my destination... with my high constitution, I was confident on the journey.
About three days later... I saw the 5-meter wall of Arka City. It looks depilated but has its medieval charm.
But I didn't have the energy to admire it as I couldn't help but mutter "Fucking hell..."
I thought I had enough constitution to endure the journey but I was severely wrong. Not counting the fact that I had to walk all the way here... just the animals, insects, and even a savage beast was enough to make me regret my choice.
"I shouldn't have parted with a horse" Nevertheless I didn't show my tiredness to the guards,
My sword that was strapped to my back was now on my waist. After noticing nothing suspicious and paying the entrance tax...
I immediately headed to look for an inn where nice beds were. And came to Hopefull inn..
"How much for a room?" I asked a young teen, with brown hair twin tails, and baggy clothes.
"2 silvers and 10 coppers a night... if you want to add a meal to it... it'll cost 2 and 50 coppers."
I immediately paid for a day then looked at her and frankly said..."Is there any way you could accompany my rest?"
Instantly the young lady blushed and said "No no we don't provide that kind of service here"
"Alright then" I headed to my room and once I'm inside... crashed down on the bed as I immediately fell asleep.
"Can you believe it? I chop at him and he couldn't react fast enough...."
"Did you hear that the price for horrus grass has increased? I heard that alchemist discovered a new use for it"
"I told you it's pretty cheap... I'm not promoting the business.."
Chatter was all over the tavern as my dinner was placed in front of me.
It was already night when I woke up. I couldn't help but feel fresh for the first time in days.
I then started eating my dinner which was a steak... a small bread and fish soup. I touched the steak and without anyone noticing... I added divine energy to it to enhance the flavor.
Through these few days I experimented what's the use of divine energy.. but other than enchanting the flavor of food.. it does nothing.
I tried it on objects, plants, and even living animals. I gave divine energy to a rabbit and observed it for a couple of hours but nothing changed. In the end, I killed it and found out it was more delicious than before.
I then cut the steak and put it in my mouth.
"Hmnn..." A satisfied sigh came from me.
Well, I guess divine energy isn't that useless. Maybe my divine energy is just too little to change things aside from flavor? That was the only thing I could conclude.
At the same time, I thought about what to do tonight. I wanted to pick up girls with my skills but since it was already night...

Eric was lifting some swords when he once again saw a group of knights from the church of Eversun getting inside the city drenched in blood.
Ever since the church found out that a group of bandits killed two knights and violated a nun... they were hell bent in cleaning the surrounding areas for bandits.
Normally Eric would have rejoiced by this matter but he knew that the people of the church was also extorting some villages.
