Violet completed her story of that day and revealed the reason why Robert failed even after being called a Prodigy of the millennia.

After hearing her words something inside me snapped and I lost control.

And the last thing I remember before passing out on the sofa is seeing some system warning written in red

“ugh” I groaned in pain, it felt like my head is going to explode

My hands instinctively moved to hold my head, that’s when I heard a sweet female voice

“Robert, what happened dear? Are you okay?” Mina asked with teary eyes

“Mom. What happened?” I asked as my memories were still hazy

“Dear, I don’t know suddenly you collapsed on the sofa. I was worried about; I don’t want to lose you again son. Please don’t scare me like that.” She said and I could see tear marks clearly on her face, making it clear that she was crying earlier

Somehow, I felt bad worrying her like that, so I gave her confident and caring smile.

“Don’t worry mom, I won’t leave either. Believe me, I will always be by your side.”

After hearing my compassionate words, she hugged me tightly.

Some seconds later she ended our hug, and I sat up on the bed.

‘Lily, what the hell happened to me?’ I asked in annoyance

[Host, calm yourself. Your soul is still weak. And you should concentrate on levelling up if you don’t want to destroy it.]

‘My soul? And why is my soul weak? Huh?’

[And don’t ask me about this because I CAN NOT tell you] for first time I felt like I was speaking with a person rather than a program

‘Hey hey, why are YOU angry at me? I am the one who should be, you know.’

‘Anyways, so according to you I need to level-up to stabilize my soul. But what if I can’t level-up before my soul shatters?’

[Then you will die, so hurry up and grind some EXP; if you don’t want to die without knowing how that is.]

‘DAMMIT, I can’t just have sex with anyone to level up, what do you want me to do?’ I retorted

[Well, you can earn EXP by killing some beasts.] She replied in somewhat nonchalant way

‘And why didn’t you mention that earlier? I swear if you were person, I would smack your face.’

‘Now, you’re giving me cold shoulder, great.’ I sighed in defeat

After ending my debate with lily mentally I saw my mother looking at me with a confused expression, well I’m sure I looked like an idiot making faces without speaking anything.

“I’m alright mother.” I reassured her with a smile, and she smiled as well

“How long has it been anyways?” I asked curious to know what time it is right now

“You were sleeping for the whole day, its night right now dear.” Mina replied

“Well, mother I’m good now, so you should take some rest as well. After all you will be very busy managing the kingdom for some time now.”

“Yes, I will do that and make sure to you rest well too.” She said before kissing my forehead and went for her bedroom

After she left my room Maria appeared in my room.

“Your Highness, this is the report of my findings regarding Violet” she said while passing the file to me. I decided to ignore it for the time being since I have some other priorities; and she can’t betray or act against me anyways.

“Maria, is there a good place for beast hunting near our capital?”

“Yes, Your highness. There is Turry Woods south of our capital, it is surrounded by a magical barrier to prevent beasts escaping and roaming around freely.”

“I want you to make preparations for both of us to go there. And also, I want to disguise myself, so it would be better if you have some skill to make it possible.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

She left and I was there alone sitting on the bed thinking to myself as to what I can do to prepare myself for the upcoming adventures.

‘Hey Lily, how do I learn magic?’

[You can buy magic skills from store, or you can use the ones physically available to you.]

I had spent all my coins earlier so buying from store was out of the option. As for the other I remembered a library in our castle containing many books and magic skills there.

“It’s decided than I will browse through the library tonight.” I said to myself and headed towards the library

There was a servant sitting on a chair like a librarian and when he saw me, he stood up and bowed before greeting me

“Show me the shelf containing book related to magic and magic skills” I ordered him, and he started walking and I followed

After walking for a while, he stopped in front of a shiny door.

“Your Highness, please place your hand on the door.” He requested and I complied

With my touch the door disappeared with light sparkles, ‘So that was a magical door that opens with a royal member, huh? Pretty cool’

I entered inside and the servant left without saying anything.

There was a whole lot of books and skills placed in different shelves sorted according to their level and element.

‘Let’s get started then’ I thought and began reading some basic magic books to get a basic idea of how this whole magic thingy works
