==================================================

- Listen to me carefully, pig. You are just the ruler of one of hundreds of countries, which is as well on the verge of its demise. Even though you hired our clan and our task is to protect you, this does not mean that you can command us. If the situation demands it and we have to retreat, we will cut off all your limbs to relieve your excess weight and take you to some safe place. If you continue to communicate disrespectfully with us, I will personally cut off your tongue and believe me, I will do it slowly… Did you understand my words well?

Holding the strangling ruler of the strange trees by the neck, slowly pronouncing each word, Harushumo spoke. He completely ignored the grunts from lack of air and the legs kicking in the air. The daimyo's face itself was full of tears and snot, which made his situation even worse, flowing into the open mouth trying to take air.

Being on the verge of fainting, with increasing despair and anger at his lack of restraint, he listened to Hyuga's words. As a fairly well-versed person in politics, the daimyo understood what a mistake he had made. Who is he, and who is the ninja in front of him?

He is the ruler of a fairly small newly formed country that is in an unfavorable situation, and the ninjas in front of him are members of one of the centuries-old hegemons, under whose control are territories of lands several times larger than his own country. This does not take into account the fact that practically each of the adult members of this hegemon, alone, is able to kill a small army.

Perhaps recently, due to constant pressure and military failures, coupled with the threat of death from some enemy ninja, a tired mind has been clouded. And the last straw was that the child spoke to him on equal terms, forcing the daimyo's nerves stretched to the limit to burst.

Feeling his neck being squeezed in a powerful grip, the man's mind began to sink into darkness, but hearing the last question asked by the ninja, made him feel hope and with the last strength that remained in his body, he nodded.

A second later, the shackles on his neck loosened and the carcass fell to the floor with a slight noise. Taking as much air as possible into his chest, the daimyo heard his strangler turn around, starting to speak in a commanding tone.

- Two will stay here, the rest spread out at a sufficient distance so that in case of any danger, neighboring couples can immediately support you. Execute!

After receiving the order, the clan members, most of whom had satisfaction visible on their faces, abruptly became serious and quickly divided into pairs, disappeared with several seals.

Nodding with satisfaction, Harushumo looked at Samato, who was sitting calmly next to the guard who had flown away. Another guard standing nearby, with concern and hope in his eyes, carefully looking at the boy.

-  Is he alive? - Raising an eyebrow, the heir asked without a fraction of sympathy.

Looking at the body with the neck twisted at an unnatural angle, part of the bones of which stretched the skin almost inseparably, Samato answered.

- Hmm, the first and second cervical vertebrae are broken, the rest are badly damaged, the nervous system and the rest were damaged as a result, a little more and he would have died.

Hearing this, the guard standing next to him started. Harushumo, in turn, shrugged his shoulders. - Well, I beg your pardon, next time I will take this mistake into account…

Ignoring the heir's subsequent words, Samato carefully looked at the guard standing in silence with a faint smile.

- Is he close to you? - The guard shuddered once more, gritting his teeth inwardly surprised, but did not answer anything. Seeing this, Samato continued. - He will most likely die. If you want, can I help?

Silence followed again, with slowly increasing surprise and misunderstanding of the guard, to which Samato  could only internally chuckle. Ostentatiously shrugging his shoulders, he started to get up. Seeing this, the guard gritted his teeth even harder and hissed.

- Shouldn't you help him? He was hurt by a member of your clan!

Feigning surprise, Samato frowned. – Why should I, in the current dangerous situation, spend my chakra on a ninja who, after treatment, will be incapacitated for some time?

Hearing the reason, anger appeared on the guard's face, which he barely restrained only because of greater fear. – But he suffered because of you!

Shaking his head, Samato calmly replied defiantly bending his fingers. – He suffered because of your daimyo, who could not restrain his angry impulses. He suffered because you could not calm the angry impulses of your daimyo. He suffered because he tried to contradict a member of our clan.…

Listening to the reasons listed, the guard's anger slowly subsided and, looking at the daimyo lying in the vomit recently torn out, he sighed inwardly. Shifting his gaze back to the boy, he said as calmly as possible, still inwardly angry.

- I understand... can you please help him, he's my brother.

- Yes, but you'll have to answer me a few questions later. Agree?

With a moment's hesitation, the guard considered agreeing or not, but after looking at his only relative, he nodded decisively.

- Howl and good!

As if earlier it was a normal conversation, and not in any way a threat, Samato smiled easily, sitting down again next to the guard lying on the ground.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Was it worth it?

Sitting relaxed on a tatami covered with a soft pillow, with his hands behind his head and leaning against a column, Harushumo asked. Opposite him, across a small table on which tea utensils were located, Samato fit.  Carefully holding in his hands a rather exquisite and expensive cup of tea, from which steam emanated, the scientist took a sip, followed by a short, thoughtful answer.

- yes.

Twitching his lip at such a short answer, Harushumo sighed. – Shouldn't children be more talkative at your age?

- no.

- Eh…

- I see you have dealt with the daimyo? It's good. - Suddenly, a slightly tired voice of a man who was slowly approaching the two was heard. – Although it would be better if you Harushumo next time, be more restrained.

Glancing sideways at the voice, Samato and Harushumo, without surprise to themselves, saw Ame walking towards them. He still kept a slight smile on his face, but you could see a little fatigue.

- He's useless anyway. - Yawning, the heir of the clan spoke, to which he received a slightly narrowed look from the man.

- That's why I said next time. – Sitting down on an empty seat and gratefully nodding at the tea offered by his nephew, he continued wearily. – Eh, it's a pity that I didn't take Hiko with me, his language developed over several years in frequent conversations with Kaguya, would be oh so useful now.

Twitching an eyebrow and rubbing the scar, Harushumo mumbled something, closing his eyes. Seeing this, Ame only chuckled internally and looked at his nephew, who was silent in thought, with his gaze fixed on the cup of hot tea held in his hands, and asked.

- What do you think about the current situation?

Breaking out of his reverie, the scientist looked at Ame and Harushumo, who opened his eyes a little. After taking a sip of green and rather bitter, but pleasant to the taste and smell of tea, Samato put the cup on the table, internally finally forming further words.
