After toiling himself for four hours in doing the quest Vikram finally completed the quest. Levelling up was very difficult in the world of Odyssey. Some would feel that after the game has been released for a while the developers should make it easier for the newbies to level up so that they could catch up with the older players just like how it happens in other games but that was not so in the case of Odyssey.

The developers wanted to make Odyssey as close to reality as they could so, levelling up will always remain difficult for all players. Just like how in real life the powerful will always remain in power and it’s difficult for the people without much power to rise to the top.

-That’s not fair man, let me level up!!-

-Ikr! I want to make quick money and live a sound life. Make levelling easier for us newbies!-

-Yes plzz-

Many people complained about this on the online platforms but the developers did not even bother to waste their time on them and soon after WrathCraft’s public affairs department posted a message on their official page.

***There are people who don’t care about the opportunity that they have been given to improve their lives and instead always want to make things easier for themselves. Such a mindset is what hinders a person from seeing the millions of opportunities they are presented with in their daily lives. Due to their mindset of wanting to make things easy for themselves, they let go of it and what’s the result of this? They end up being in the same miserable state they were in earlier and keep on whining all their lives!

WrathCraft collectively looks down on such a pathological mindset and wants its players to strive to become better human being who is good for society.

Thank you***

-Lmaoooo WrathCraft roasted the shit out of those noobies.-

-They all must be crying in some corner filled with guilt as they realize how uselessly they’ve been living their lives-

-Fuck you WrathCraft, Fuck your game! I’m done with it!-

-Lmao see that person above, he must be the type that is described above, what happened kiddo can’t handle the truth?-

-Stfu the one above me, I’ll whip your ass or else-

-Just like how WrathCraft whipped you and the entirety of your kind in a single message xD Sure! You’re welcome to try-

-Lmfao I can’t help but laugh seeing these newbies who got shown their place.-

There were huge piles of comments that were made after WrathCraft showed its stance which led to a lot of discussions on the internet. The people complaining soon realized that they can’t change shit and WrathCraft was not a company that would show any weakness in front of such a nuisance.

___

Vikram looked at the quest completion message that popped up on his screen with a smile on his face.

Quest assigned: Help Drake the blacksmith. Create ingots from the ores so that Drake can use them later on conveniently.

Seeing the message the now euphoric Vikram opened up his inventory and checked his coins

· …??

2) Iron Ore x50

Vikram noticed the 70 Bronze coins in his possession and felt euphoric. He glanced at his sword’s stats and once again thought of how long it would take for him to unlock all the other skills and boosts that this sword possessed. From the likes of it, he’ll be needing to level up or do some quests in order to unlock them.

Vikram then looked at the iron ore that the blacksmith gifted him for doing a good job. Seeing this Vikram realized that by doing a particular quest he can get more than what just the quest reward offered. So, he needs to keep his mind open while doing other quests in the future and look for opportunities.

Vikram needed only 10 more EXP to level up now. He went to the marketplace and placed his stacks of iron ore for sale. The marketplace was the place where all the players can go and put their goods for trade anonymously. When Vikram got to know about it, he was filled with happiness because this meant that even in this deserted village, he could still trade with other players by going to the marketplace.

The only sad part about it was that some percentage of the money that the seller receives is deducted by the programmed system as convenience fees. Therefore, players who were not interested in getting even a small percentage of their well-deserved money be deducted preferred doing trade privately with the buyer.

His Iron ore stack soon got sold for a price of 20 Copper coins each stack thereby giving him a total of 100 Copper coins which is equal to 1 Bronze Coin. Vikram got to know that the first trade was free, without any convenience fee so he received the whole of his money.

One Bronze coin richer Vikram soon walked out of the marketplace and went back towards the training hall. The instructor seeing him said, “As expected, guess the mission was too tough for you now, train with the training dummies inside the courtyard with your sword to hone your basics for now.”

From the information in the forums, Vikram got to know that one can get 10 EXP just by hitting the training dummies in the training hall ten times so Vikram decided to come back here and start hitting them.

After hitting the training dummy with his sword ten times a message popped up in front of Vikram which was followed by him levelling up.

Sword Proficiency -LVL 1(1/1000)

Reward for Unlocking Sword Proficiency – 10 EXP

Vikram had just browsed through the information on the forum and didn’t read about getting this sword proficiency. He couldn’t help but be delighted on seeing it. If his guess was right then this would help him to progress further in improving his sword skills.
