Episode-87: I***** Uchiha

 

 

Arc pretended to sleep for half an hour. Then he opened his eyes and looked at Zerin. Looks like she was still up. She was not sleeping but standing in front of the windows. She was looking at the outside without showing any interest in her eyes.

 

'I don't want to reveal my recovery for now. That's why I do not want to go dungeon for now at night or another time, it will be risky until she is with me. Should I try the shop boss already?'

 

Arc was thinking. If he tries that his access to buying something will block for 60 days. He can only buy potions, use the teleportation gate, and can buy paper bombs. He then take the risk and entered the shop boss.

 

He saw a similar gate that he saw before in level 3 shop boss access. Arc went in front of that room with steady steps and opened the door. He saw A man standing there. He was wearing long, black cloaks with red clouds, a red interior, and a chin-high collar.

 

He was a fairly tall man of fair complexion. He had black eyes, under which were long, pronounced tear troughs. He had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with center-parted bangs that extended to his chin.

 

On his right ring finger was his Akatsuki ring, which was red and bore the kanji for "vermilion". He wore light blue nail polish on his fingers and toes and a necklace that had three silver rings with red gems inside them.

 

He had Sharingan activated on his eyes.

 

"Uchiha Itachi."

 

Arc pronounced his name.

 

"You know me, ha?"

 

He asked him. Then continued,

 

"Arc William you are a peculiar existence I have seen. You are not a normal person."

 

When Itachi said that Arc got ready with the weapon. He needs to finish him before he can use his Tsukuyomi on him. After making eye contact with a target, Itachi Uchiha traps them in an illusion of his design. Through his unprecedented ability to alter targets' perception of time, he uses Tsukuyomi to subject victims to days' worth of torture in a matter of seconds; examples include continual stabbing or reliving traumatic events over and over.

 

Arc opened his Sharingan. To minimization of the attack, he must use it, or he would have suffered greater than normal.

 

"Those eyes, so you have gained those eyes too. However, those eyes are still immature, you are still unworthy of having them. I will take that eye from you now."

 

Itachi told him. Though Arc knows Itachi's real story, for now, he is Arc's enemy. So no words should be wasted here.

 

"Senbonzakura, scatter."

 

Arc realise his shikai of Senbonzakura. Which went toward Itachi. That attacked him with ease. However, Arc didn't feel that it worked. Because he saw that he turned into several crows and fly from that place.

 

'Damn it! Am I already under genjutsu?'

 

"Balance Break."

 

Arc turned into dragon form with the wing on his back and flew from there. To avoid getting attacked from the ground, when Arc thought he could finally escape from his attack he saw Itachi was in his behind. He was hovering in the sky too.

 

Arc instantly uses a dragon shot from his hand which was mixed with Cero and Ki. Itachi's body vaporized like smoke and then it turned into fog.

 

"Shit, if I could buy Kyoka Suigetsu."

 

Arc then hurriedly looked at his shop.

 

"Thank god. I have still my shop active."

 

He has still 40k SP left. He hurriedly buy a Zanpakto and turned into Shikai to expect it to turn into Kyoka Suigetsu. However, it was the sword of Gin Ichimaru's Shinso. It is a great sword however, it won't help in this situation.

 

"Amaterasu!"

 

Arc heard the voice of Itachi. His dragon armor instantly turned into a black flame. And he was not supposed to feel pain,

 

"Then why I am feeling pain."

 

He almost screamed because of the burning sensation. Arc drop from the sky. He looked that Itachi was in front of him. He sat on his armor chest and grabbed that eyes of his.

 

Suddenly, he felt extreme pain in his eye.

 

'It hurt, it really hurts.'

 

Arc started to wave his hands aimlessly. Itachi jumped from his chest. Arc has undone his armor, which helped him to get out from the black flame. He saw one of his eyes was on Itachi's hand.

 

"Damn it!"

 

Arc then drinks a potion, however, it didn't work.

 

"The hack, why potion is not working? Is this the stage where I cannot use the potion?"

 

Then Itachi came in front of him. Arc tried to use Eraserhead. However, it didn't help him. Itachi grabbed his second eye. He started feeling pain again. Damn it! Why it isn't working?

 

"My eyes!"

 

Then he suddenly saw he was in his room. He jumped from the bed. He was sweating hard. He checked his eyes, looks like he was okay. It didn't affect the real world. In fact, he knew that boss level fights of the system don't affect his real world body. But he still doesn't know why he felt this pain, His IQ then screamed that he was in Genjutsu. He remembers what happened to Sasuke. However, it was too late for him to realize that.

 

"Though I have Shinso. Looks like, I got under Tsukyomi much later. But when?"

 

Arc muttered to himself. He checked his shop. As expected his shop was blocked except for potions and paper bombs.

 

Episode-88: Know thyself.

 

 

"Looks like you have a bad dream."

 

A cold word came from the left side of his. Arc then remembers Zerin was there. He looked at her and said,

 

"Yes, it was rather scary. Do you know curse magic or something?"

 

Arc asked her as if she was the reason cause of his bad dream.

 

"No."

 

However, she flatly.

 

"I see. Why aren't you sleeping?"

 

Arc asked her.

 

"I am training my mind, night is the right time."

 

She told him.

 

"Oh. Don't stay late. Tomorrow will be also a hectic day."

 

Saying that Arc again tried Itachi's trial. and in just one minute he tried 23 times. And he lost all of the time.

 

"Damn! Itachi is too strong. Especially when he put me under genjutsu, I couldn't catch that. He is too much of a skilled fighter and the best user of Sharingan."

 

He muttered. He finally got mentally tired so he do not want to try anymore for tonight and wanted to just sleep.

 

At midnight he woke up again and saw Zerin laying on the bed. Her eyes are closed so he concluded she is asleep.

 

He was thirsty, however, there was Miranda tonight so he have to help himself. He used his telekinesis to manipulate jars and glass. He starting to expert in it slowly. Compare to he just lost control at first he can control an object with pretty ease.

 

He then went to sleep and woke up in the late morning. Arc saw Zerin sitting on the bed in meditation posture.

 

Arc then called Miranda.

 

[Come.]

 

Just after a few minutes, Miranda knocked on the door. Zerin opened her eyes and looked at Arc. She saw Arc swiftly sit on the wheelchair and started to move.

 

He was controlling his chair with telekinesis which made her pretty surprised. Arc stood middle of the room and used his telekinesis to open the door too.

 

Zerin was surprised by that too, albeit she had an emotionless face and eyes.

 

"Good Morning, master."

 

Miranda greeted him.

 

"Good Morning. Please serve me a cup of tea."

 

Arc then asked Zerin,

 

"Do you want tea too?"

 

She didn't reply in her mouth but denied that she won't.

 

"Okay. Arrange her breakfast too."

 

Arc told her.

 

"It's already arranged, master. Don't worry."

 

Miranda replied to him.

 

"Good."

 

Arc nodded. She left the room and came back with tons of food. Arc took the teacup and started to drink without saying anything to Zerin. He knows she won't eat now as she is not opening her eyes from meditation.

 

[How to grow my skill?]

 

Arc asked Miranda. Arc was strong now, however, he cannot utilize his power, which was apparent against Itachi. This was the first time he understood what kind of amateur he was.

 

[Training. You need to train endlessly to grow strong. Even if you have a strong ability it will help you in the short run, however, when it is in terms of the long run, you will just get defeated by a skilled opponent.]

 

Miranda replied. Arc didn't say anything after that. He was drinking tea with making very little audible sound. After finishing it, he put the cup on while making noise which he usually doesn't do. Miranda understood this behavior that he distracts by something.

 

He finally said,

Arc then close his eyes and went to face Itachi, and he has done it for the fifth time after he woke up.

 

Itachi was in front of him, no one yet to make any move.

 

"Say, Itachi. Am I strong?"

 

Arc asked him.

 

"You are strong."

 

Itachi replied. Arc just asked for confirmation. Then he asked him,

 

"What do you need to make your Sharingan strong?"

 

He asked him.

 

"Sharingan act on your emotion. Regardless, of whether you get mangekyo or not, you can defeat a mangekyo as long as you got the emotion of hatred or love more than anything, and that is what you lacked. Your hatred isn't enough, not your love. And you are not even good at utilizing your strength."

 

Itachi replied.

 

"I see."

 

Arc then took his posture to fight against him, and release a huge amount ki from his body, he can use reiatsu as well now. Combining these two power of him the environment surrounding him started to shatter like glass.

 

"You are doing the same mistake."

 

Itachi told him. When he said that, Arc release his power like a burst and told Itachi,

 

"I admit my defeat."

 

"So, you finally understood how to win this stage."

 

Itachi told him.

 

"Yes, even if I can destroy this world including you, I never could win this. After all, I have tried my all to defeat you. I couldn't do that at a single time. On the first fight, I could buy from the shop, and after that, if I wanted to buy something, like a potion, or use a potion it seems like it was not working, I thought I am already in genjutsu, however, what system wants me to understand that, because I have such an option I am relying on those too much, which stopping my development in true sense. I need to master my every move before using it, that's what my system trying to say. And the winning condition was, realizing my mistake and learning when to give up, just because I have the power I cannot blindly fight against an opponent out of my reach, that will be just foolishness if I am not on the verge of dying. The test was, know my opponent and know thyself."

 

Arc replied to him.

The place started to shutter like a TV was getting out signal from cable.

 

"You have passed the trial."
