One of my turrets on my stern2Rear Slightly rotates to stern, and then the Two barrels lift, to compensate for the drop of firing at such a distance. OOO I'M GETTING SO EXCITED!!

Prinz Eugens main guns had a ROF of 4 to 5 rpm. About one shell every 12 to 15 seconds. 30s is about the reload rate of a battleship
that is for balance, the auto-loading ability, leveling up to much would just make the protagonist fire automatically, so i made reload longer. And it works in the story, the ability is called auto-loading, not crew loading. indicating something, thats not a crew is loading the weapons, and is bad at it.
@KMS_Prinz_Eugen 30 seconds just seems very slow when someone with magic can probably fore off many spells in that time and the main guns aren't that accurate.
@KMS_Prinz_Eugen also if you want reference for an auto loader the best is USS Salem with a reload rate of 6 seconds (if you didn't already know)
@Kraken1 its magic, its bad at low level. but ill make it 15 seconds, and i dont want the guns to reload really fast in the future.

@KMS_Prinz_Eugen since it gets abilities at low proficiencies. It would make sense that the transformation ability would make her a bit .. smaller.
@KMS_Prinz_Eugen I think Eugens armour is actually average. Alot of RN light cruisers had more armour. I think the heaviest armour on a heavy cruiser was the Deutchland class with 140mm belt and Zara class had 150mm

I was planning on adding some shrinking ability, so someone could scoop up our protagonist, and bring it ashore... maybe it could go back to its original size, on land, and bombard some poor fortress... or someone could open their palm, reveling a boat the size of a toy, and the boat would shoot some poor man to death...

@KMS_Prinz_Eugen I think most were around 70 to 80 mm. Also I think the town class light cruisers are a bit unusual and nit really proper light cruisers. They were built as close to being a heavy cruiser as possible without actually being one.
@DiscoDream I don't mind the ship having an avatar/human transformation. Two of my own stories have that. It just when its the actual ship I like to be historically accurate.
