Do the US helmet was inspired by the Deep Salade Experimental Helmet? It looks pretty similar

@dumbass I believe the helmet in the picture was the Model 5, a redesigned version of the Deep Salade (Model 2), the helmet im talking about look more like this https://ibb.co/985qv1L
Also, the artist stated in the AH page that the helmet is inspired by the Swiss M18, which in turn, is inspired by both the Model 2 and Model 5.
The Americans look like they stepped out from WW 2...
Because uniforms don't really need to wait for technological advancements. Once the US military figured out the color schemes, they just produced uniforms similar to WW2 styled uniforms, with metal helmets :P
