Gohan woke to the sound of birds singing outside as he blinked his eyes open, he tired to stretch his arms as he yawned but he found that he couldn’t move them. He turned to see Nami curled up on his left side, her orange hair draped over her sleeping face, a small smile present, and curled up on his right side was Nojiko who was stirring.
“…Good morning.” Nojiko whispered, giving him a smile when she saw he was awake.
“Good morning.” Gohan replied, smiling back at her.
“…Thank you for last night.” Nojiko said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“…I feel like I should be thanking you.” Gohan replied.
“You can thank me by taking good care of my sister on your travels.” Nojiko said, sitting up to stare into his eyes.
“I…I promise.” Gohan answered, nodding at her.
“Good.” Nojiko said, breaking into a smile.
“…what time is it?” Nami muttered, as she started stirring too.
“It’s still early.” Gohan answered, “The sun is starting to raise.”
“…we should probably get up.” Nojiko said, glancing at the sunlight peeking through the partially open window.
“…Do we have to?” Nami asked, snuggling closer to Gohan, “I’m comfy.”
“…I don’t want to either, but we all have things to do.” Nojiko said, groaning as she pushed herself off Gohan to get out of bed.
“…Yeah, I need to go find the crew so we can spar today.” Gohan said, staring at Nojiko as she stretched.
“…Argh, fine.” Nami said, sitting up, “But you’ll have to make it up to me later.”
“…Ok, that’s fine.” Gohan said smiling, as he sat up.
“Gohan! Wait!” Nami cried suddenly, after he got off the bed.
“What’s wrong?!” Gohan asked turning to look at her.
“Where’s you get that!?” Nojiko cried out, making him turn around to look at her.
“Get what!?” Gohan asked looking at them.
“Hold on turn around.” Nami said, quickly getting out of bed and turning him around.
“What’s wrong!?” Gohan asked as he found himself facing the wall while Nami and Nojiko ran their hands over his back.
“You have a tattoo on your back that wasn’t there last night!” Nami said.
“W-what!?” Gohan uttered turning his head to look at her.
“Yeah, it’s of a dragon surrounded by seven balls.” Nojiko said, running her hands over where he guessed the tattoo was.
“What!? Really!?” Gohan muttered trying to glance at his back.
“Yeah.” Nami said, nodding her head, “…I’m guessing that this is Shenron, and the dragon balls you told us about.”
“…Give me a second.” Gohan said, pointing at the ground and creating two large standing mirrors so he could see the tattoo. The tattoo was in the middle of his back, it was of Shenron surrounded by the seven dragon balls with the four-star on its mouth, “…What the hell!?”
“That’s so weird.” Nami said running her hands over the tattoo, “Wait where’s your tail!?” she asked, bringing attention that his tail was missing.
“I…” Gohan started to say when his tail suddenly popped back out.
“Woah!” Nojiko cried out.
“What the hell!?” Nami asked reaching out to touch his tail.
“Don’t do that!?” Gohan cried curling the tail around his waist.
“Why not?” Nami asked, her hand still in the air.
“Sorry.” Gohan said quickly, seeing her expression in the mirror, “It’s pretty sensitive, and I lose all my strength when someone grabs it.” He explained.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” Nami said.
“It’s fine you didn’t know.” Gohan said offering her a smile that she returned.
“You lose your strength when someone grabs it?” Nojiko asked. “Isn’t that a liability?”
“Yeah, but I can train it to prevent that.” Gohan answered, remembering that Nappa and Vegeta did the same.
“Ok…well besides the tattoo and you tail disappearing and reappearing is there anything else different about you?” Nojiko asked.
“Hmm…I don’t know.” Gohan answered moving his body around, “…I do feel a little off, but it might be because of last night.” He answered, making them both blush as they remembered the events of last night. After he got comfortable, he put the knowledge Polycosmos gave him to use last night to tire them both out.
“…Maybe.” Nami said clearing her throat, “…don’t you need to go find the others?”
“Right! I’ll head out, see you later.” Gohan said, looking for his clothes.
“You should probably take a quick shower first.” Nojiko said tossing his pants to him.
“Sounds good.” Gohan said catching them, “I’ll see you guys later.”
“Yup.” Nojiko said, walking up and giving him a kiss which was followed by a kiss from Nami.
--
“What the hell!” Gohan muttered staring at his status window that just opened without warning, while he was in the shower.

Gohan was having trouble wrapping his head around the new info that had appeared on the status screen, “… I don’t even know what to say about all this.” He muttered running his hand through his hair.
“Hey, are you ok in there!?” Nojiko called out knocking on the door, breaking him out of his thoughts, “You’ve been in there for a while.”
“Y-yeah, sorry.” Gohan called back, “Just thinking.” He said closing the window, with a shake of his head as he turned off the water.
“…Ok, well, I’m just letting you know that me and Nami are heading out.” Nojiko replied.
“Oh, give me a minute to get ready and I’ll walk with you.” Gohan said.
“Don’t worry, we’ll meet you later. I want to have some time alone with Nami before you guys leave.” Nojiko replied.
“Oh, ok, I’ll see you later I guess.” Gohan said, opening the door in a towel.
“…yeah.” Nojiko said eyeing him up and down, “It’s a shame that we each have plans.” She said before shaking her head, “I left you some breakfast on the table.”
“Oh, thank you.” Gohan said, smiling at her.
“…No problem.” Nojiko said, giving him a quick kiss before leaving. “Bye.”
Gohan watched her walk away with an extra sway in her steps, before shaking his head before he got too distracted, he got dressed in his Gi, ate the breakfast and then headed to where he was going to meet Luffy and the others. He decided not to think too much about the things he saw on the status window by putting it out of his mind for now, and focusing on the spar to see how the seals will affect him in the long run.

“So, sis we need to talk.” Nojiko said as they walked, arm and arm through the village.
“What about?” Nami asked waving the villagers who greeted them.
“About what you are going to do about Gohan.” Nojiko said.
“What do you mean?” Nami asked tilting her head.
“I mean he tired the both of us out last night and still had energy to spare, he has amazing stamina, it must be because of all the training he does.” Nojiko wondered.
“Y-yeah, I’m glad that he stopped when we asked him too, or I don’t think I would be able to get out of bed today.” Nami muttered. “Even now my legs are still a little wobbly.”
“Yeah…me too.” Nojiko said with a smile, before she shook her head, “What I was trying to say is that based on his stamina you may need some…help dealing with him especially since your big sis won’t be there to help you.”
“Oh! I was already planning on that.” Nami said, with a smile.
“W-what!?” Nojiko uttered surprised.
“Y-yeah, the idea came to me in a dream last night, and after last night I think it’s a good idea.” Nami said, replied.
“…Huh, I had a similar dream.” Nojiko muttered.
“R-really?” Nami asked, looking at her in surprise.
“Y-yeah, I had no problem with sharing Gohan with you last night because you’re my sister but for some reason I don’t mind him having other women.” Nojiko replied, before shrugging her shoulders, “Oh, well as long as you were thinking the same, I won’t have to worry.”
“Right, so where are we going?” Nami asked.
“Well, we’re going shopping you have a new boyfriend, and we need to get you some clothes just for him.” Nojiko answered with a grin as she dragged Nami down the road with a laugh.

“Not bad guys.” Gohan said looking over at the panting forms of Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji.
They were all laying on their backs, drenched in sweat, he decided to fight Zoro and Usopp first since telling them that they couldn’t use their weapons during the fight. He explained that they may find themselves in a situation where they didn’t have access to their weapons or fighting an enemy who their weapons couldn’t damage, and he wanted to see if they could defend themselves in that situation.
Zoro put up a decent fight lasting a lot longer than Usopp, while Luffy and Sanji did better than the other two, being more physical fighters. Gohan noticed that Sanji’s fighting style was heavily focused on kicks when asked he said that was what Zeff had taught him, and as a cook, he couldn’t afford to damage his hands.
Luffy’s style was more of a brawler as he used his rubber-like body to attack him in whatever way he could think of since the rubber quality of his body allowed him to tank most attacks. Gohan did notice that he seemed to rely on it too much as he just focused on attack and not on defense.
“N…not bad!?” Sanji uttered.
“Yeah.” Gohan nodded.
“But we didn’t…land a single…hit.” Usopp panted.
“It’s to be…expected.” Zoro replied, “He’s been…training since he was four.”
“How can you hit me?” Luffy muttered as he rubbed his face. “I’m made of rubber punches aren’t supposed to hurt. Those punches remind me of my grandpa.” he muttered softly.
“What was that?” Gohan asked, not hearing the last bit.
“Nothing.” Luffy said shaking his head.
“…ok.” Gohan said with a shrug, “Well, I’ve seen how you guys fight with no weapons, and you all did well, besides Usopp but that’s because you haven’t really done any actual fighting. But don’t worry give me some time and I’ll come up with a training routine that will help each of you get stronger.”
“Sounds good.” Zoro said sitting up, he knew that he needed to get stronger if he wanted to defeat Mihawk and if Gohan could help him with that than he would listen, especially since Gohan promised him to practice with him after telling him that he used to use a sword when he was a kid and wanting to learn how to use one again.
“Well Captain, should we start prepping the ship so we can head out?” Gohan asked looking at him.
“…hmmm, yeah.” Luffy said jumping to his feet and putting his hat back on, “It’s time to head to the Grand Line.”
“R-really?” Usopp asked, standing up.
“Yeah, it’s time.” Luffy said, nodding his head a big grin on his face.
“Good.” Zoro said, smiling as well.
“Alright, I’ll go check what provisions we need.” Sanji said, lighting his cigarette, and walking away.
“Oh, make sure to get lots of meat!” Luffy called out following him.
“I’ll go see what useful things I can find.” Usopp said, leaving as well.
Zoro just gave him a nod as he left too, “…I should see if they have any books, I can have.” Gohan muttered before following the others.
--
They spent the rest of the day loading the supplies the village gave them from what was left of Arlong’s base, Gohan was given a few books including one on something called Fishmen Karate from Gen who told him to use it to take care of Nami, which he promised. That night he spent with Nojiko and Nami having a repeat of the previous night, followed by heading to Bellemare’s grave one last time in the morning before departing.
“Goodbye, I’ll miss you all!” Nami called out waving at the large group that had come to see them off.
“Stay safe!” “Thank you for everything!” “We love you!” “Come back anytime!” the villagers shouted as their ship sailed away.
“…How do you feel?” Gohan asked as her island slowly became a dot on the horizon.
“…good.” Nami said, grabbing his arm and squeezing it, “Thank you.” She said giving him a kiss.
“Hey…Guy...Oh.” Sanji said from behind him a frown on his face when he saw they were kissing.
“Hey…what’s up Sanji?” Gohan asked, scratching his cheek.
They had told the crew that they were in a relationship last night, they all took the news with varying degrees of reactions, Luffy and Zoro didn’t care much, while Usopp was happy for him, and Sanji cried a bit but accepted it in the end since Nami was happy.
“…I was going to make some lunch and just wanted to let you know.” Sanji answered.
“Oh, ok thank you.” Gohan said, nodding at him.
“…Yeah, bye.” Sanji said, walking away.
“…well, can I leave these books on your bookshelf?” Gohan asked looking at Nami.
“There’s no need.” Nami said taking his hand, “You’re staying with me now.” She said, leading him to the captain’s quarters.

Marine HQ
“Enter.” Commander Brandnew said, looking up from the picture laying on his desk, to see who was knocking on his door.
“Sir!” The Marine said, saluting as he entered, he had several files in his hands.
“Yes?” Commander Brandnew asked.
“You asked for more information on them.” The Marine said gesturing towards the picture on the table.
“…Go ahead.” Commander Brandnew said, sitting up and nodding at the Marine.
“First I want to apologize for taking so long but there were some conflicting reports that I had to sort out before reporting in.” The Marine said, placing the files on his desk.
“That’s fine, give me a quick rundown on what you’ve found.” Commander Brandnew said, with a nod, moving the files to the side so he could look at The Marine.
“There were two individuals who could have been a match for that picture, the problem was that they seemed to be in the same area around the same time, one is the person pictured and the other is someone completely different.” The Marine explained.
“Tell me about this one, first.” Commander Brandnew said, tapping the picture on his desk.
“We were able to find out his name is Monkey D. Luffy.” The Marine started saying.
“Monkey D?” Commander Brandnew interrupted, “Any relation to Vice-Admiral Garp?”
“We believe so, but we would need to ask the Vice-Admiral.” The Marine answered.
“Hmm, that’s troublesome.” Commander Brandnew muttered, “Ok, what else can you tell me about him?”
“We know that he met and recruited Roronoa Zoro after dealing with the corruption of former Captain Axe-Hand Morgon, they then show up in Orange Town. Where they fought and defeated the Buggy pirate crew, with the help of two others, a man named Gohan and women whose name is Nami, but from the reports they weren’t part of Luffy and Roronoa group.” The Marine continued.
“Roronoa… The Pirate Hunter?” Commander Brandnew asked.
“Yes Sir.” The Marine said nodding his head.
“Hmm…what did you mean when you said that the other two weren’t part of the group?” Commander Brandnew asked.
“From what the mayor of the town told us Nami made it quite clear that they weren’t pirates or even part of Luffy’s crew, they even went as far as leaving half of Buggy’s treasure behind so that they could rebuild their town. The one called Gohan told the mayor that the reason he helped get rid of Buggy was because it was the right thing to do, and upon leaving the island they left in two separate boats.” The Marine answered.
“Leaving behind treasure…that’s not typical pirate behavior.” Commander Brandnew muttered, rubbing his chin, “Go on.”
“After Orange Town, we lose track of them until they arrive at The Baratie together flying a Jolly Roger with a Straw-Hat that’s where former Lt. Fullbody met them and attempted to sink their ship, but from the other Marine’s onboard this Luffy managed to deflect the cannon ball. But something happened and it was sent flying towards The Baratie, but Gohan somehow flew in the air and stopped the cannon ball.” The Marine said.
“He flew!?” Commander Brandnew exclaimed.
“That’s what the reports say.” The Marine said nodding.
“Hmm, go on.” Commander Brandnew said shaking his head.
“The Marines go on to say that the prisoner Gin of Don Kreig’s pirate crew escaped captivity and headed towards The Baratie where Fullbody fled not even attempting to recapture him.” The Marine said.
Commander Brandnew sighed, “…and then what happened?”
“Well by the time we received word and sent someone to investigate it was too late, Luffy and the others were already gone but we did mange to capture and interrogate Gin and the reaming members of Don Krieg’s crew. They told us that Don Kreig brought his men to feed his men after escaping The Grand Line which he then proceeded to try and take over The Baratie, but they were stopped by the cooks, Luffy, Roronoa, and a third unknown person. Gin and the crew told us that Gohan defeated Pearl with one punch, then he proceeded to kill Don Krieg with some sort of large explosion leaving nothing behind. Then he went on to defeat Gin with a single punch as well, but he didn’t kill the rest of the crew saying that he doesn’t like killing needlessly but if they continued their attack, he would kill them. After they agreed to leave, he somehow created two boats out of thin air for Gin to take their survivors and leave.” The Marine explained.
“…So, it seems like this Gohan is the one with the troublesome ability I heard about.” Commander Brandnew stated.
“It seems like it, Sir.” The Marine said nodding.
“…Do we know if it’s from a Devil Fruit?” Commander Brandnew asked.
“I…don’t know sir, but there’s more.” The Marine said, continuing after receiving a nod, “It seems like after the fight at The Baratie, Gohan and Nami left Luffy’s crew and ended up at Cocoyashi Islands. Where it is said that Gohan single handily defeated and detained all of Arlong’s crew, who had taken over the island, years ago. The reports also say that Arlong’s crew we’re terrified of Gohan and didn’t even try to escape until he was suddenly engulfed in a bright white light which had him missing for hours. Once he was gone Arlong and his men attempted to escape but were stopped by Luffy and three others who had arrived on the island, they then defeated and detained Arlong and his crew again. We received this information from the interrogation of former Captain Nezumi.”
“Right…” Commander Brandnew, said nodding his head having already heard about Nezumi’s corrupt actions, “…Do we have a picture of this Gohan?”
“…No, sir.” The Marine said shaking his head, “All we have is a little more on his description, he’s tall about 6-foot, short black spiky hair, onyx-colored eyes, a facial scar across his left eye, and he seems to carry some sort of red pole on his back.”
“…Is there anything else?” Commander Brandnew asked.
“…No sir.” The Marine said, shaking his head.
“Hmm…by the looks of things the only ones we know are really pirates are Luffy and Roronoa and whoever else joined the crew. While based on his actions and reports this Gohan seems to have a sense of justice helping those in need and dealing with pirates.” Commander Brandnew muttered staring at nothing, “…I’ll go over these files in detail before making my decision on any bounties. Dismissed.”
“Sir.” The Marine saluted before walking out.
Commander Brandnew sighed as he looked at the picture of Luffy, “…If I remember correctly Vice-Admiral Garp should be in the East Blue on business. I’ll need to talk with him and see what he thinks about all this.” He muttered as he opened the files and started going through them.

Gohan was doing some handstand push-ups while balancing a wooden platform with his feet while Zoro sat on the platform doing some curls with some weights Gohan had created for him, Usopp was tinkering around with something. Nami was resting in a lounge chair, Luffy was sitting in his favorite seat, and Sanji was cooking them some lunch. Ever since they left Nami’s home Gohan has been training them as best as he could with the limited space they had, focusing a bit more on Usopp and Nami because they needed it the most.
“Did you guys raise the prices again?” Nami asked the News Coo. “If you keep raising the price I won’t buy from you guys again.”
“…Don’t take it out on the poor bird he’s only delivering them.” Gohan replied.
“Yeah, it’s only a paper.” Usopp said.
“You do know that daily expenses add up.” Nami responded as she paid for the paper.
“Do we really have to worry about things like that when Gohan can just create things with that beam of his.” Usopp replied.
“I…what is your limitation with that?” Nami asked, suddenly turning towards him.
“I can’t make any living things or currency of any type.” Gohan answered as he continued his push-ups, “Other than that I’ll need to continue testing it.”
“So, you can make me any type of clothes I want?” Nami asked, in a tone that almost made him stumble.
“…I should be able to, but it would help if I know what I’m trying to create.” Gohan replied.
“What do you mean?” Nami asked.
“…visualization should help if I can see what I’m trying to create it should make things easier” Gohan answered, “Brace yourself I’m switching to one hand.” He called up.
“Got it.” Zoro answered.
“…so, if you can see what you’re trying to make it should help?” Nami asked.
“…yeah, but I would probably need to practice a bit until I can make some good materials.” Gohan answered.
“…that’s good to know.” Nami said, with a smile as she sat down and opened the newspaper.
“Can I read the paper when you’re done?” Gohan asked.
“Y…What the hell!?” Nami yelled suddenly making Gohan stumble and have Zoro come falling platform and all landing on him.
“Ow.” Gohan and Zoro muttered, as they sat up.
“What happened!?” Sanji cried out running outside.
Nami didn’t answer put pointed at two pieces of paper that fell out of the newspaper, which Usopp picked up to revel two wanted posters, one for Luffy and the other for Zoro.
“Shishishi, looks like we’re wanted men!” Luffy said with a big grin as he held up his Bounty poster, it was of him with a large smile as waved at the camera, ‘Wanted Dead or Alive ‘Straw Hat’ Luffy, 35 million Beri’
“Where’s the sake?” Zoro said with a grin as he held his poster, it was of him glancing back at the camera after his fight with an octopus fishmen, ‘Wanted Dead or Alive ‘Pirate Hunter’ Zoro, 25 million Beri’
“You guys fail to realize what this means.” Nami said, sighing at their happiness, “It means that others may try and come after us.”
“Nami, it’s alright, they knew this was a possibility when they set sail. The only thing we can do is get stronger so we’re prepared for anyone that may come after us.” Gohan said to her.
“…yeah, you have a point.” Nami said shaking her head, “…that also means that we can’t stay in the East Blue anymore. We need to hurry up and stock up at Loguetown before heading to The Grand Line.”
“Loguetown?” Gohan asked.
“Yeah, it’s known as the town of the beginning and the end, it’s where the Pirate King Roger was born and where he was executed.” Nami answered.
“…That’s where we’re heading now?” Luffy asked suddenly getting serious.
“…Yeah, it’s the last island before we enter the Grand Line.” Nami nodded.
“Good.” Luffy said, staring out to the sea, “I want to see where he died.”
