Weiss found a corner in the bar to answer her phone. The corner was in the bathroom, but at least she could hear the other person.

"And make sure you're wearing that 'undercover colors' nail polish," Winter reminded.

"I am." Weiss sighed, "I gave some to Yang & Ruby as well."

"Good." Winter paused for a moment. At first, Weiss thought they had gotten disconnected. But a tapping could be heard. Like Winter was looking up something on her phone.

"Rose & Xiao-Long are blood sisters, correct?"

"I haven't asked," Weiss reluctantly answered. "It really doesn't matter. Does it?"

"I'm just curious what their situation is. They don't look alike in the slightest. Also, with a name like 'Yang', I can't imagine—"

"Winter," Weiss inhaled deeply before letting her know, "You're starting to sound like father." There wasn't an immediate reply from Winter. This flared up Weiss' anxiety. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude."

"No, no," Winter said. "You're right. It's not something I should be concerned about. Just...are you dating Yang?."

Weiss cleared her throat. Eyes darting around. Hand playing with a strand of hair.

"W-why do you think that I'm in love with her?"

Winter chuckled, "Because I asked if you were 'dating her'. Nothing about 'love'."

"...I'll try to have an answer for you before spring break ends."

"Just, make sure you do what you believe is right. But don't do anything you'll regret."

Weis exhaled, "I know."

Testing her sister, "I don't want to turn on the TV and see you flashing the camera with an American bottle of beer in your hand."

"Winter! I have more sense than that!" Weiss growled, "I have to get back to Yang & Ruby. I'll call you later."

"Very well. Goodbye, Weiss. Stay safe." Winter tried to hide the distress in her voice. "I love you."

Weiss caught onto the fear. It was understandable. While spring break was a time meant for fun, it also had its valid points of toxicity. Men spiking young women's drinks. Drugs being pushed. Drunken hooligans and thieves prowling on unsuspecting partiers. It was scary.

Weiss reinsured, "I'll be fine. I love you too."

The four words didn't remove those threats, but they did remove some of Winter's dread.

Weiss hung up and started heading out of the bathroom, only to be heckled by someone in a stall.

"Was that your boyfriend?" they jeered.

"That was my sister!" Weiss kicked the stall, "My girlfriend is outside!"

That 'girlfriend' Weiss was talking about, was on a table entertaining the beachside bar in song. That song was from a cartoon Weiss had never seen before.

"Your shoes are shinned.

Your breath Dulce.

But still, I find I have to say that I, think I might be better than you!"

On another table opposite Yang, was a man with a violin and a now recovered full head of blonde hair.

"You seem impressed with what you've shown but I don't find it that compelling." Jaune sang to the tune.

"You've sung my praise, but not your own.

And well, I think that's pretty telling.

But while we're on the subject of,

How I'm superb and leagues above,

You,

Ought to know I'm number one!"

Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose, "These drunken...dorks."

Ruby nudged her friend, "Come on! It's fun!"

"I know that might be hard to swallow." Jaune sang with Pyrrha providing a backup 'La-la-la-la'.

"This hurts you just as much as me.

(Oooh)

But when this song is sung then you and I'll know.

That you're just a nobody~!"

It didn't surprise Weiss that her friends were doing this. The empty shot glasses by Yang's feet explained her reason. Jaune was weird enough to bring his instrument to the beach in the first place. What shocked her were the people around them clapping along. Well, everyone except the horny men behind a flaming red bikini-clad Yang.

"You okay?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah," Weiss said, looking at Yang's shaking hips. "Just...watching the show."

"Okay." Ruby sipped her drink. "You want some?" Anything to pretend that her friend wasn't checking out her sister.

"Sure," Weiss grabbed the water bottle but found the contents weren't water. "What's in this?"

"Coke."

"Soda's bad for you." Schnee scoffed before drinking some. Except, it wasn't soda that Weiss was spitting and coughing out.

"Oh right. I meant rum & coke."

"You're 19!" Weiss shouted.

"You're 20!" Ruby shouted back. "See, I can count too!"

"Yang!" Weiss called. "Someone gave—"

Ruby covered her mouth, "Shut up!" She whispered, "Look, I'm not going to get drunk on something like this. But I'm wanna drink! So don't tell Yang! Okay?"

Weiss' answer was muffled by Rose's hand.

She asked, "What," lowering her arm.

"I said, where did you even get this?"

"Weiss, it's spring break. I literally just asked the bartender."

Pyrrha entered the conversation, "Asked the bartender what?"

Not even waiting, "Ruby has alcohol."

"You snitch!"

"What's up ladies?!" an intoxicated Yang sang walking up with a completely sober Arc.

"R—" Weiss tried but was cut off by an alert Ruby.

"Your sister's got," Pyrrha took a sniff of the squirt bottle, "Rum & Coke."

"You Snitch!"

"So?" Yang asked, shocking everyone.

Arc even let out a loud, "What?"

"I'm here. Jaune's here. You two are still sober. It's something soft. What's the problem?"

"Actually, I've had a Shirley Temple," Pyrrha admitted.

"Not the point!" Weiss argued. "She shouldn't be drinking. She's not old enough! She's not—"

"She's my sister and I trust her," Yang interrupted. "That's all that matters. Right, Rubes?"

Ruby's head was tilted down at Pyrrha's chest.

"Wha?" she snapped back to reality. "Sorry, I was staring at Pyrrha's...never mind."

"You useless lesbian!"

Yang then gave Jaune a leg sweep and dropped an elbow for his comment.

"Yang." Nikos said, "Be gentle with him now." She turned back to Ruby, who was back to 'appreciating' the top half of her Spartan aesthetical two-piece. "Ruby, up here." She now had her attention. "That bottle is all you're allowed to have today. Understand?"

"Yeah!" Ruby answered.

-A Few Hours Later-

"NOO!!!" Ruby shouted being carried on Pyrrha's shoulder. "I wanna hear the music!"

"I asked you to do one thing," Nikos stated. "You're going back to the hotel."

Whining, "Nooo! Yang help!"

Her older sister was of no help given that she was being helped by Weiss.

"You got a hot girl carrying you. Just enjoy it!"

Jaune, obviously frustrated, "That is not helping Yang!"

"Baby," Pyrrha said, "Don't worry. I'm all yours." That wink at the end would've calmed him down, so to speak, if the sisters hadn't added an annoying sound.

"Oooooh!" They both cooed. He just groaned in response.

"Oh Jaune~!" Ruby jeered, "I'm being carried by your girlfriend~! Jealous?!"

Pyrrha let the five-foot-nothing chick slide down so only Ruby's hips were on her shoulder. Her hand grasped Ruby's calves putting her at a 90-degree angle. It looked as silly as it sounded.

"Woah!"

"Stop it," Pyrrha ordered.

"Yeah, Ruby." Weiss added, "Stop acting like an ass."

Yang chuckled, "He-he. Ass."

"Boobs are better!" Ruby shouted back. "Right Weiss?"

Weiss did agree with Ruby, but she wasn't about to say it. Yang's chest being directly on her shoulder was the biggest culprit as to why.

Stressed, "I don't care Ruby."

"Cause you gots da flat chest~." Rose teased.

Snapping back, "You used to borrow my bras without asking me, you uncultured dullard!"

"And they were still too small! Hey-Ohhhhh!"

"Yang," Weiss made eye contact, "I'm going to murder your sister."

This got a laugh out of Long.

A 'meow' was heard coming from Ruby's backpack. Jaune had been given the duty of carrying the sister's bags while the others carried the sisters. Answering the text fell on him.

"Blakey!" Ruby cheered.

"A cat is the text tone for your girlfriend?" Weiss asked. Instead of answering her directly, Ruby just chuckled in a low voice and licked her lips. Schnee let out an, "Ew."

Jaune got the phone out of Ruby's bag, much to her disapproval.

"Gimme mah phone!"

"You're not drunk texting Blake. I'll tell you what the text says and then I'll translate whatever you say to," he looked at the Scroll XR screen for a moment. He didn't say anything. Jaune just clicked the screen off followed by hastily handing the phone to Weiss. "You know what. Just text her back in the morning, Rubes."

"Nooo! I want my Blakey!" She spoke as if she was half awake, "She's my Halloween candy."

Weiss ignored the complaining child and had the bright idea to see why Jaune was suddenly red. Why was he so reluctant to read off what Blake wrote to Ruby? What could be so off-putting that it caused him to try and distance himself from the phone in his own dorky way? So, with Yang overseeing the invasion of privacy, Weiss took the phone and exploited the 'face id' feature.

"Ruby, say cheese."

"Chocolate!" Ruby screamed into her phone.

"I wouldn't do that." Jaune tried to warn. Weiss carried on not caring about his opinion.

She lied, "I'm just gonna tell 'kitty' that Ruby's drunk so call back in the morning."

Instead, Weiss was greeted by a very curious photo. Gazing at this photo, Weiss realized she had made a mistake. Not a grave one, but she did regret not listening to Jaune. To a degree that is. She had half a mind to send a copy to herself.

"Wow. Nice pu—" Yang began.

"Pants!" Weiss shrieked. "Blake sent Ruby a picture of a pair of pants she bought!"

"Can I see?" Pyrrha asked.

All three blondes, "No!"

It wasn't that long of a drive. Jaune drove them all back to the hotel with Pyrrha riding shotgun. In the backseat was the drunken Rose/Xiao-Long sisters that managed to cut the night's events short. Both of their backpacks were in the jeep's trunk leaving enough leg room for them to comfortably fall asleep. The rum and vodka aided in that.

Stuck between the two was Weiss who was more than ready for bed at this point. She just wanted to hit the mattress and close her eyes. Right now, she was doing her best not to look at Ruby's one-piece swimsuit or Yang's bikini.

"Not to sound like a toddler, but are we there yet?"

"Yep," Pyrrha said. Her buzz wasn't obvious until she stumbled out of the truck almost hitting the asphalt. "I'm okay!"

Jaune opened the door, plucking the sleeping Rose up easily.

"You got Yang?" he asked.

Yang's head was using Weiss' shoulder as a pillow. The woman looked peaceful in her state of slumber. It almost pained Weiss knowing she was going to have to wake her up.

"Uh, yeah. I got her." Weiss unbuckled the seats. She handed Ruby's bag off to Jaune. Then, she started to slide her way toward the open door. Suddenly, Yang grasped at her sides.

"No." she murmured, "My 'weissey'."

Weiss squinted her eyes at Yang, "Y-you're...you are totally faking being asleep. Aren't you?" Yang snuggled against her 'wifey's' stomach. "Answer me, you busty plebe."

Whispering, "You're my perfect girl."

Yang casually kissed Schnee's naval proceeding to rest against her thigh. Like a cat owner whose pet had turned their lap into a resting spot, Weiss accepted that she was stuck there.

As a request, "Can you grab us a blanket please?"

"There's your jacket in my bag," Yang informed. Her voice wasn't slurred and she didn't whisper. It was as if any intoxication or tiredness had evaporated away.

Weiss slowly turned her head toward the possibly not wasted Asian woman on her leg.

"...Woman, are you pretending to be drunk?"

Yang, again speaking as if her exhaustion didn't exist, answered pridefully and honestly.

"Woman, I love you and I'll never lie to you. Now sleep in this car with me while I kiss your sexy belly."

When she turned back to tell Jaune, "...Jaune, I'll see you in the morning."

The door was closed and the man was already going up the stairs with Pyrrha behind him and Ruby in his arms. Like Weiss, he was beyond ready for bed.

"Get your jacket!" Yang pestered. Weiss yanked the bag forward and opened the large pocket.

"You mean your jacket." Weiss corrected, "There's no way your jacket would fit me."

What lay inside was a small-sized leather bomber jacket with white streaks on the sleeves. Two custom additions were found on the item. First was a snowflake emblem on the back where the shoulder blades would fill. The second thing Yang paid extra for, above the breast pocket, was the sophomore's last name stitched in freestyle script font.

"Yang?" Weiss asked. She was breathing a little heavier than normal. Her eyes couldn't be torn away from the cloth. Her hands were shaking underneath the jacket.

"Yay!" Yang let out. "You got your present!"

"Yang?" Weiss asked again. This time, she got an answer.

"Yeah, baby?"

She became possessed. Something took control of Weiss' mind and her body. It was a combination of things. The face Yang made when saying 'baby' and the feelings of gratitude conjured together and cast a spell on Schnee. It was the result of months and months of flirting. It was the reward for Yang giving Weiss all the support and patience she never received growing up.

Weiss couldn't physically wait another moment. This was the exact moment she fell in love. This was the moment that Weiss leaned down and kissed Yang.
