Let's paint a picture. You're told by a friend to wake up another pair of friends who slept in a car. It's Spring break and one of them can get a little carried away when it comes to alcohol. So you're not surprised that Yang passed out in the car and her (maybe) girlfriend stayed with her.

Anyway, you go to said car and look in the window to see them sleeping together. Not just with one another sharing the same jacket as a blanket. But with Weiss, the smaller and younger adult laying on top of Yang while using her endowed chest as a pillow.

Ren could see Yang's bikini strap still intact, so he assumed they most likely didn't have sex. But Weiss was a little too happy to just be sleeping on top of someone. Their arms were under the jacket that couldn't belong to Yang. He just had to guess that they were hugging. Where their hands landed, however, he had no idea. Well, there were a few theories. Regardless, it was time for breakfast.

A quick knock on the window and Weiss' eyes opened. She looked up to see Ren wearing his hair in a bun and a pink tank top.

"Morning," he said.

Sheepishly, "M-morning."

"Breakfast is ready."

Yang shot up, accidentally sending Weiss off of her and by extension the car seats.

"Food!" She looked down, "Weiss, baby, get off the floor."

-Later-

Ren & Nora had their own room on the second floor. The group knew it would be a mess for all of them to sleep in one room, no matter how large. So, when morning came, they all joined together for pancakes in the fourth-floor room. Mainly due to the room coming with its own stove and full-size fridge.

"Why does Jaune get so many?" Ruby asked. Her paper plate had three stacks, as did Pyrrha & an equally grumpy Nora. His paper plate had five stacks.

Jaune raised a brow at her before thematically stretching his arms and clapping his hands loudly. Ruby, like an actor on cue, winced and held her hungover head.

"That's why," he answered. It wasn't much of a reward for dealing with a drunken friends' actions, but he appreciated it.

Pyrrha added, "You also owe him a lightweight jacket."

Confused, "What'd I do to your jacket?" Ruby's first time drinking and she barely remembered any of it. Pyrrha would've found it tragic if she herself wasn't a little annoyed by last night's antics.

Yang & Weiss entered the room with Ren leading the way.

"You freaking puked all over my jacket!" he informed.

Weiss grabbed everyone's attention by letting them know, "Well, I just lost my appetite. Anyone else?"

Yang walked up to the stove, "Nope." She put four pancakes onto one paper plate. "More for me."

Ruby saw that Weiss was wearing a very, in her mind, 'biker-girlfriend' style jacket. Her recovering brain managed to deduce that she most likely got it from her bisexual biker sister. However, she didn't have recovered enough critical thinking skills to keep that to herself.

"That's a cute jacket, Weiss." Ruby complimented. "Did Yang buy it for you?"

Hastily, "It doesn't matter." In an attempt to change the conversation. "Did you respond back to Blake yet?"

"Whaddya mean?" she asked.

Yang swallowed a pancake and spoke, "You got a text from her last night but we stole your phone because you were 'white girl wasted'."

Ruby proceeded to cram the remaining slices of flapjacks into her mouth and rush to her backpack in search of her Scroll XR. Everyone watched as her two last working brain cells rummaged through her bag for something that was plugged into the charger and on the floor by her knees. Another five seconds and Ren would've helped her. Luckily, she opened her messages and became perfectly still.

Rose's back was to everyone so no one could see her face. Her expression was a complete mystery. Her intent started to show as she slowly stood up and made her way to the bathroom.

She entered with no towel or change of clothes.

"I'm uh...gonna take a shower really quick. Be ready to leave in an hour. Okay? Okay! Bye-bye!"

The door slammed shut leaving an air of silence at the table.

Nora ate the last bite of her food and gave her two cents.

"This is why I don't drink."

"You're underaged," Ren reminded.

"That too."

-Later-

The gang was heading out for another day at the crowded beach. This time Ruby had an 'x' drawn on her hands by Jaune to ensure this sleeveless hoodie remained barf-free. Nora walked out the door wearing snorkeling goggles with Ren close behind her. Pyrrha stood at the jeep with the keys twirling on her finger. Yang & Weiss were still inside, however. They hadn't forgotten anything. But Yang did need something important.

"So," she began making sure Weiss' back was against the wall, "You kissed me when I was drunk? Did you?"

Schnee was looking up in fear at what seemed to be an agitated five-foot-eight woman who had her metal forearm resting right above her head. They were all alone in the room with the front door closed. This couldn't take long, but there had to be a reason for the solitude.

"I...I did." She said, worrying about the repercussions. "I just," she gulped. "You gave me this jacket and—"

Yang cuffed the fur collar with her free hand lightly.

Toying with her, "This jacket?" A sly grin suddenly appeared on her face. "Is that what I did? Little Miss Schnee."

Weiss now wasn't sure whether to be intimidated or aroused. The mix worsened when Yang's forehead touched hers. The concoction resulted in a loss of patience.

"Stop playing with me," Weiss demanded. Yang didn't move. Not her position. Not her hands. Not even her smile. Weiss continued, "If you want me to apologize for kissing you when you were drunk, I will. If you don't have a problem with it, then just say so!"

Weiss grasped Yang's hands and clasped them together in hers. She threw her anxieties out the window with this act. Her fears of rejection and embarrassment had taken away more opportunities for happiness than she cared to admit. In front of one of the few people she trusted more than anything, she told her perturbation, 'no more'.

"I love you, Yang! I'm your girlfriend! So just tell me if I hurt you so I can make it better!"

Something possessed Yang at that moment. Something had ignited her spirit and her body responded on impulse. The merge of Weiss' confession and mutual feelings Yang had been clamped down for months was realized. She made a promise to her not formed from words. But from something they both wanted for months.

Yang couldn't contain herself any longer. This was the perfect moment. This was the moment that Xiao-Long leaned down and kissed Schnee.
