<II>

 In the age after the fall of man, civilization's end, chaotic entities rooted in the Scourge of Nano-artificial enemies merged with the wrath and desparity of lost souls transpose into their own incredible, uncouth kind---Demons.

  Easily put, Nano computer + angry souls = Demons. Yes, that's pretty much it.

 Above upper pic (Drawn 2022/07/22): here, we see the Grade B Kaubog type Demon (Remastered chapter 1) at its full foul glory, with metallic hide over its rotten bulging flesh. Big claws, big head that serves more as a body than a head. Mostly coming from its original form below.

  Above lower pic: As its name suggests (really?), this Demon used for the first episode, being the tutorial boss fight for Yuri as in any D-rk Souls type games if you will, is mainly designed to resemble a muscular wild hog standing on two hind legs. A pig, indeed, which if you haven't noticed yet, is one of the animals of the Chinese Zodiac, to which the Demons that appear in Before Light is secretly and loosely based upon.

Here we have a Haiju(Drawn 2022/07/06), a Monkey based Grade C Demon with six hardened legs like a crustaceans and two large blades as arms. Adding to the menacing levels, we added a tail for him. These Haiju Demons, like monkeys in our existing age, live in packs and hunt Light-Hearted kind with simple schemes and arrays. And you've gussed it, monkeys too belong in the Chinese Zodiac.

This is an exception for there are no anthropods in the Chinese Zodiac. As original design goes, these Light Suckers (Drawn 2022/07/22) dwell within the hide of the Archdemon Death and fly out when ever the serpent Archdemon's hides are rattled by either Starbreakers or photon missiles of airships. Similar to the mosquito that belongs in the Order Diptera which stands for double-winged, Light Suckers belong in the Order Triptera, which literally means Triple-wings, with a larger mouthpart than the ones that bite you. The original version below had six limbs, with the hind legs evolved to a standing position, yet the Remastered version had eight limbs, which sadly contradicts the insect law of six legs, making it a glaring mistake after finishing the art. But it's a Demon of the future, who knows? Maybe eight legs are the new fad in bugs after humans are gone.
