It is another day at this school that's a bit boring... 

Honestly, somehow school is better than just doing nothing but sleeping all day due to a lack of interesting things

The school starts with a bit of history lesson, I... Actually am a fan of this, it's interesting how people do stuff in the past, and how I could learn how the war progressed in the comfort of my seat

Like for real, did they just have a reporter going around asking people how the war feels like? Hmm, I don't know... Ugh, lately, I feel like I'm becoming more and more like Okuu, I... Can think of one thousand ways on how to use fusion power efficiently, yet I drew blank on anything else... 

I love this lesson thought! With quirk added in, it's like looking up at a game lore and I love every single second of it

As I'm happily listening to the teacher, a knock could be heard on the open door, from where I see it, it was some other teacher with someone in tow... 

Our teacher then pause the lesson to answer the other teacher, after a minute or two, my eyes went wide at the sight of the guest our teacher bring to the classroom... 

... I'm 100% bitch slapping that goddess, cause there's ain't no way this isn't her doing

With a casual red sleeveless top, grayish blue short skirt, and her iconic head accessories, Reimu makes her appearance

It's... Quite weird seeing her in anything other than her shrine maiden outfit to be honest... But I approve of the casual look

"Everyone~! I got an announcement to make! As of today, our class will be receiving a new student that has transferred from the Hakiro Elementary School! Due to suddenly changing schools, she would move down a grade and become one of our own! Now, can you please introduce yourself to the class?"

Reimu then look around the room, our eyes meet for a second before she continues to scan the room... After doing so, she began to introduce herself in the most "I don't give a fuck" Kuudere voice I've heard, in a long~~> while!

"My name is Reimu Harukei, an apprentice shrine maiden, nice to meet you."

"E-erm, Reimu-chan~ can you tell us what's your hobby and dream job is? And what kind of quirk do you have?"

"*sigh* I love sleeping under the sun, and I'm aiming to become a shrine maiden, after that, I guess I'll open up a cafe somewhere or something... I have a float quirk"

Guess that's what she's planning when she grows older and is unable to keep her shrine maiden job... Well, she'll probably come across some kind of item that'll keep herself young or the like, can't really remember the plot... Hmm? Wait doesn't that mean I also... Huh? Hmm?

While I'm swirling in confusion, Reimu decided to take a seat right at the back beside the window like a true protagonist that she is

"Alright class, let's start our lesson from the start shall we?"

With that, the class resumed with a lot of students groaning from the pain of restarting the lesson

"... Alright... That's it for today, pack up your things and... Don't cause trouble..."

With that, all of us start packing up our things... And I waited again for the crowd to die down, as I stare at the crowded exit door, I heard Reimu talking to me as she took a seat right behind me

"You're not going?"

"Well... I don't want to be squashed into a pancake"

"Fair enough"

"The name is Okuu by the way, nice to meet you"

"Reimu"

With that, our conversation ended... ... ... 

Why is this so awkward... Guess she's like the game, but colder...

And so, I try to talk to her more

"So... You like ice cream?"

"... I guess I do..."

"... Wanna buy one? It's my treat!"

"Huh... Alright, sure"

With that, I took a hold of her arm and start walking out of the room

"C'mon then! I got a place that you'll probably like! And one of my friends will also be there!"

"... I see... Hmm, can you tell me why you're doing this?"

"Huh? Well, 'cause it seems like you're a loner..."

"A loner... Me... Hash, alright fine, I guess I'm one, just, stop tugging on my arm"

We then walk out on the sidewalk, passing many buildings and trees, on the way, one of the trees had a cat stuck on it, which Reimu quickly get it down by floating up to grab it, then gently float down

"Hey, ~ is that your quirk?"

"Yes... It's called Float... So I can obviously float, didn't I tell the whole class that's what my quirk is?"

"You did? Huh... I must've gotten distracted back then"

But still, float huh?... Wonder if she can actually use her Float ability rather than just float... 

Float is one of Reimu's most broken abilities, to the point that it has to be sealed, you'd think its function is just to make her float, but...

If I remember right, it's an ability that could make her float through life... Hard to explain, but... Yea...

Doesn't matter which direction she took, she'll end up in the place she's looking for, which is why she'll always be the number one incidents solver considering she'll always be the fastest one to find the source of the incident

Pretty sure Float could do more than that considering it's powerful enough to get sealed, but... Beh, can't remember...

Reimu then began to walk away

"Hey~! Wait up!"

As we were walking, I started to collect what I know and why it happen... 

She's a lot colder than I remember, even more so considering she's still a kid like me... Hmm, maybe something to do with how Quirk changes things in Gensokyo, which makes more incidents happen and forces her to... Nah, no way Quirk could change things there, but... Hmm

well if all logic fails, I could just treat it like a variation of Reimu, like how there are a billion variations of Saber with the same saber face... And blame the change on Disco Fairy and Yukari

We keep on walking, passing through a crosswalk, we can now see a mini market with a boy on the front of it playing some game on his phone

Ah... So he finally got one

Sensing a big birb approaching him, he looks at us and then pauses the game where he then greets us

"Hello there Okuu"

"Ello! Nice phone you got there~"

"Yea, my dad finally thinks that I'm responsible enough to carry one... So... Who's this?"

"Oh! Right, Edward, this is Reimu, Reimu, this is Edward, now! Shake hands!"

I took both of their arms and make them shake their hands... Somehow, I got a feeling the two of them share the same "I feel your pain" Look

H-hey, I'm not THAT handful you know... 

After a couple of seconds of awkwardness, Reimu finally decides to break the ice

"So... Ice cream?"

"Right! C'mon, let's get some!"

"Well... Guess we should follow her, er, Reimu-chan"

"Just Reimu is fine"

"Alright"

We went inside the minimart to find ice cream... And I really, REALLY have to resist the temptation of that new ghost papers flaming quirk chips

Ah... I want it! My mouth is watering already just from looking at it... But my allowance... Fine, next time then

I then walk back towards the two and get ourselves some ice cream

"Hey, why are you only paying for Reimu?"

"Cause I'll be broke if I also pay for yours! Now pay up"

"... Alright, fine..."

With Reimu chuckling a bit at our interaction, we got our ice cream, we then went out and sit on a nearby bench to eat them while watching the streets while also talking to one another about mundane stuff

"I'm home~"

"Welcome back Okuu, now help me with the dishes will you?"

"Alright Mom"

I walk towards the kitchen to do dishes, it's quite a lot considering my mom is busy with her laundry work right now

She probably got more subscriber, I'll be the one to take care of the house at this rate

I look around the room and found my stool, I pick it up and move it to the sink where I then stood on it to reach the sink

"Sheesh, that's quite a lot"

I then start working, first spray water on a plate...

"Ah... No soap water, only soap... ... The container isn't here..."

I got down from my stool and walk towards the living room to get some plastic containers, after doing so, I return to the sink to add soap into the plastic container and then water to make some soap water and then... 

"Mom! Where's the sponge at!?"

"The usual place! On the shelf!"

"Found it!"

I then go back to the sink and drown the sponge in soap water, after draining the soap water a bit I started cleaning a plate that's been sprayed with water and then repeat the action

"Clean this~~~ clean that~~~ Hmm, this one need to be submerged for an hour..."

After doing that for about 30 minutes, I finished with the easy-to-clean ones, leaving those that need to be submerged in water for easier cleaning

"Mom! I'm done, just a couple of left!"

"Thank you~! There's a strawberry milkshake in the freezer if you want!"

"Okay!"

I went and do just that, I walked toward the refrigerator and I then fly toward the freezer part of the refrigerator

Ok now... Stay floating in place, will you!? Argh! This is harder to do than in the past because of my size!

With a bigger body, comes with bigger wings, which also meant more lift power, which makes it harder for micro movement... Kinda like controlling a slow propeller plane vs Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II AKA the Warthog to land on a small aircraft carrier

Deciding that enough is enough, I stopped flapping my wings and put my legs onto the refrigerator with my hand on the freezer's handle, I then pull the handle...

AaaaHHH! I MAKE A MISTAKE! 

The freezer door opened with a slam, bringing me along with it and throwing me into the wall

*BANG!*

"GAH!"

"Okuu!? Are you alright!? I heard a loud bang!"

"I'm... Not! Okey!"

AAAAAAAA MY HEADDD!!

Unable to get up because of the massive headache, I lay still beside the refrigerator right where I fell, where I then heard footsteps coming from the bathroom

"Okuu!"

Coming in with the speed of light is Mom, she literally move like lightning as soon as she noticed my bleeding head and quickly patch me up

She quickly grabs a sterile gauze from the med kit and starts her work

"God, you should be thankful that the walls here aren't bare brick, like your grampa's walls, because you'll be in a lot of pain with me needing to clean your damn wound first"

"Uuu... Aren't... Aren't the wall here dirty too...?"

"It ain't dirty enough to break through your immunity at the very least"

My mom brought me to the never-been-use-sofa in the living room and lay me face down on it... I can feel her firm grasp on my head through the gauze

Right, mom's in the disaster relief rescue team, so, of course, she'll know what to do... 

"Haaah, what are you even doing? What happened?"

"I tried to fly to the freezer... Uuuu..."

"... That's it? Didn't you usually... You know, able to do that easily?"

"Well... If you put an eagle in a duck enclosure... The eagle won't be able to fly properly..."

"Eagle in a... Ah... Your wings growth..."

"*hic* Yea... Uuuuu...."

"Haah, stop crying... It's not that bad, it's just some bleeding, not like you fractured your skull"

I'm trying my best to not cry here! Uuuuaaaa!

knowledge and experience are two entirely different things, although my 'old' body is used to pain, my 'new' one isn't, and in turn, I'm unable to stop crying both physically and mentally

And that's how this bloody day ended... With me falling asleep in my mother's care...
