Based on their quality spiritual roots with a mixture of four or five attributes are known as “False Spiritual Roots”.
Spiritual roots of two to three attributes are known as “True Spiritual Roots”.
Those with true spiritual roots will cultivate many times faster when compared to those with false spiritual roots.
Spiritual roots with only one attribute are known as “Heavenly Spiritual Roots”. These are the fastest ones of all.
Spiritual roots that don't belong to any of the five attributes are known as “Mutated Spiritual Roots”.

Body cultivation can broadly be categorised into two types: first one and the most commonly used cultivates the body to copy the physique of a spiritual beast or some other creature by consuming their blood essence or pills made of it's body parts. 

The second type of body cultivation methods tries to form a physique based on a certain concept such as true yang,true yin etc. In this type of cultivation you comprehend the concept within the technique and consume treasures and resources related to the concept.

Mortal Step - 

1. Qi Condensation:

   - At the outset of their cultivation journey, practitioners in the Qi Condensation realm gather ethereal clouds of Qi within their dantian, the energy center of the body. These Qi clouds resemble swirling mist, representing the raw potential of their inner energy.

2. Foundation Establishment:

   - Upon reaching the Foundation Establishment realm, cultivators must refine the gathered Qi clouds, turning them into a pure, liquid essence, reminiscent of the process in alchemy where alchemists extract the pristine liquid essence from spiritual herbs within their cauldron.

AN- the condensation of essense is also the reason why having more spiritual roots is bad since there's disharmony within the elements.

3. Core Formation:

   - With the purified Qi essence in liquid form, cultivators in the Core Formation realm further refine it into a condensed pill. This energy pill, now a reservoir of concentrated life force, serves as the nucleus of their cultivation, and also a source of True qi emanated from their core.

4. Nascent Soul:

   - In the Nascent Soul realm, cultivators transcend the limitations of the physical realm. Their inner energy has reached a pinnacle, allowing them to form a nascent soul—a spiritual manifestation of their essence and consciousness. This ethereal soul empowers them to perform mystical feats and access soul cultivation.

5. Unity:

   - Unity marks the stage where cultivators strive to harmonize their body, core, and nascent soul. The energy within is no longer separate but flows as one unified force. This inner harmony enables them to efficiently wield their abilities, unlocking their full potential.

6. Shedding Mortality:

   - Shedding Mortality is the ultimate realm within the Mortal Step. Cultivators transcend the boundaries of mortality, manipulating their life force and physical form to achieve near-immortality. 

7. Quasi-Immortal:

   - The Quasi-Immortal realm is a stage that is a  bridge to the Immortal Step. Those who attain this realm have achieved a state of near-immortality. 

They can even be considered as immortals who have yet to undergo heavenly tribulation and ascension.

 The Quasi-Immortal realm is the threshold to the next step in their immortal journey.

Primary Immortal Stages:

1. Essence Refinement Stage (1st Realm):

   - In the Essence Refinement Stage, cultivators focus on refining and purifying their Immortal Qi, the essence that connects them to the immortality. They learn to cleanse impurities and strengthen the flow of their essence, emphasizing purity, resilience, and mastering the foundational aspects of immortal energy.

2. Elemental Fusion Stage (2nd Realm):

   - The Elemental Fusion Stage centers around the harmonious fusion of elemental forces with Immortal Qi. Cultivators learn to infuse their essence with the power of the elements, granting them elemental abilities. They absorb the essence of the five fundamental elements that form their bodies and gain a true immortal body (depending on the cultivation manual or race can change. Though for humans this is more or less it.)

3. the Primordial Spirit Immortal stage (3rd Realm):

   - At the Primordial spirit immortal stage, cultivators' soul transforms into a primordial spirit, and gain the ability to harmonize with the natural world gaining ability to warp part of reality(in accordance with their mastery) to their thoughts. 

Also making them truly hard to kill.

4. Transcendence Awakening Stage (4th Realm):

   - In the Transcendence Awakening Stage, cultivators transcend the limitations of the norm. They delve into the deeper mysteries of existence, manipulating the fundamental elements of life itself, their consciousness, body and soul have reached pinnacle of an immortal and is on the cusp of taking a step towards dao

5. Dao Insight Stage or Dao seeking (5th Realm):

   - The Dao Revelation Stage is the culmination of a cultivator's journey. They focus on seeking the Dao, the ultimate truth and source of all existence. Cultivators in this stage strive to connect with the Dao and understand its profound wisdom. Their abilities may involve transcending the boundaries of reality, reshaping the world according to their understanding of the Dao, and achieving true enlightenment.

Dao Seeking Realm:

The Dao Seeking Realm is a stage in immortal cultivation where practitioners embrace the inheritance of established Dao paths. This realm represents a path deeply influenced by the legacies of those who walked it before, making it notably easier for cultivators to condense a Dao seed. However, this path comes with the weight of restrictions and the echoes of past owners of the Dao. Alternatively many become a branch of an existing dao, strengthening the dao but being limited by it, those who become a branch can only form false dao cores.

 Dao Insight Immortal Realm:

The Dao Insight Immortal Realm stands as a pinnacle in immortal cultivation. They enjoy greater independence and freedom, shaping their unique paths and forming true Dao cores upon reaching the Dao realm. It is a realm of unparalleled wisdom and insight, where the journey is marked by the cultivation of profound understanding of dao.
