Ch 4. A New Odyssey

Naruto Uzumaki awoke in the small guest room of Ririka's house, where he had been recuperating from his recent altercation with the mysterious warrior and Morgan. As he surveyed his surroundings, he took note of the sparse decor comprising of a diminutive bed, a nightstand, and a window that let in the morning light. He felt a sense of nostalgia as he thought about the many nights he had spent in similar rooms during his journey as a shinobi.

As he attired himself, he donned his signature orange garb, made from a sturdy and comfortable fabric. He also slipped into a pair of black sandals. He examined himself in the mirror, feeling content with his appearance. His bright blue eyes were alight with determination and a hint of sorrow, mirroring the weight of his journey ahead. He had a scar above his left eyebrow, a reminder of his past struggles.

Naruto's physique was tall and muscular, with well-defined muscles and scars on his body that he earned from his battles. His bright blonde hair was styled in a spiky way. He was the one who crafted his own weapons, his kunai and shurikens, which he kept in his obi. He also had a hidden blade in his shoe, it was his secret weapon that he used in his most critical situations.

As he prepared for his journey, he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. He was sad to be leaving the comfortable and welcoming home of Ririka and Rika, but he was also excited to be setting out on a new odyssey. He knew that the journey ahead would be long and challenging, but he was determined to see it through.

"I'll be back, Dattebayo!" Naruto said as he bid Ririka and Rika farewell.

"Be safe on your journey, Naruto," Ririka said, her eyes filled with concern. "And remember, the ocean is vast and unpredictable, so be cautious."

Naruto nodded, taking her words to heart. He walked through the streets of Shells Town, taking in the sights and sounds of the small town. He saw vendors selling their wares, fishermen unloading their catch, and children playing in the streets. One of the kids was a little boy who was trying to catch a seagull with a fishing rod. Naruto couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. He also saw the locals going about their daily business, some of them glancing at him curiously as he passed by.

As he reached the outskirts of the town, he paused to take one final look at the place that had become his temporary home. He felt a pang of sadness as he realized that he may never see it again, but he knew that he had to move forward.

He reached the shore and found an old and worn-out dinghy, given to him by Ririka as a means of transportation in his journey. He inspected the boat, making sure it was seaworthy and equipped with the necessary supplies for his journey. He stocked it with food, water, and other essentials, as well as the weapons he had crafted himself, his kunai and shurikens.

With a sense of determination and excitement, Naruto set out to sea. He hoisted the sail and caught the wind, feeling the boat move beneath him. He felt the salty spray on his face and the wind in his hair as he sailed into the unknown.

As he sailed, he couldn't help but think about the journey ahead. Ririka had told him about the different regions of this world, the West, East, South and North Blues, and the Grand Line. Each of these regions had their own unique characteristics, from the treacherous currents of the Grand Line to the calm waters of the Blues. He also thought about the legendary pirate, Gol D. Roger, and his treasure, the One Piece. It was said to be the greatest treasure in the world, and many pirates had set out to find it, but none had succeeded. He couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity and excitement at the thought of exploring this new world and possibly discovering the legendary treasure.

As he sailed, Naruto couldn't help but think about his past. He remembered the time when he was a child, when he was an outcast and was seen as a monster. But he never gave up, he kept pushing forward and never gave up on his dream of becoming a respected shinobi. He also thought about his friends, like Sasuke, who he had a complicated relationship with, and Shikamaru, who was always there for him. He also thought about his family, Hinata, Boruto, and Himawari, who he missed dearly. He promised himself that he would return to them, no matter what.

The sun was setting on the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the landscape. Naruto was lost in thought, when he heard a noise coming from the boat's storage. He opened it and found a small monkey, it was eating his supplies. "Hey, what are you doing here? You little thief!" Naruto said as he chased the monkey around the boat, trying to catch it.

The monkey was too fast for him, it was jumping and climbing everywhere, making it hard for Naruto to catch it. After a few minutes of chasing, Naruto finally caught the monkey and put it back in the storage, "You're lucky I'm in a good mood, otherwise, you would have been thrown overboard," Naruto said with a chuckle.

As he continued to sail, he couldn't help but think about the journey ahead. He knew that it would be filled with challenges and obstacles, but he was ready for it. He had trained for years to become a powerful shinobi, and he was not going to let anything stop him from reaching his goal.

As he sailed into the night, he saw a group of dolphins jumping out of the water, following the boat. Naruto couldn't help but smile, seeing the beautiful creatures made him forget his worries. He started to sing a song, a song that he used to sing with his friends back in Konoha, he sang it loud and clear, hoping that somehow, his friends could hear him.

As the night went on, Naruto saw a shooting star, he made a wish, "I wish to find the One Piece, and to return to my home, my family and friends." He closed his eyes and smiled, he felt at peace.

The next day, Naruto woke up to the sound of seagulls and the smell of saltwater. He stretched and got out of the boat. He saw a beautiful island in the distance, he decided to go and explore it.
