I woke up to the sound of Explosions. My sister was awake, petting the horned Rabbit. She's so tough, Ardwynn. She adapted to this place. Me? I just want to go home. The Core Master is a nice girl, but the monsters are kinda crazy... especially that Spider. She scares me. Even her mistress isnt safe from her mothering. The worst part is, its actually quite soothing... being held tightly, wrapped in soft silk... I feel myself regressing daily. Yesterday i... Well... I lost control of myself... you know, down below. Thankfully, the Spider Promised to keep it a secret, And replaced my dirtied Clothing with new ones, but it's still embarrassing... I'm a man, not an Infant!
Suddenly, The Door to the Chamber opened, And I saw Aunt Faith grinning at me, and crooked a finger toward me.
Approaching, Ardwynn beside me, Faith Shushed us and pointed out into the Main chamber... what I saw amazed me...
"RETURN THE ROYALS! AND RELEASE SIGRUN!"
"Tanya, please, this is clearly not what it seems."

Cousin Regis and Captains FangBrune were shaking their heads... While Tanya, the mad alchemist, Threatened the Core Master... who was holding a bound and gagged Sigrun.
"MUAHAHAHA! FOOLISH MORTAL! I REFUSE! IN FACT, I THINK ILL KEEP HER!"
She then acted quite like a Lech, Slapping Sigruns rear...
"YOU FIEND! I... I give up! What do you want to release them?"
"HAHAHAHA! I win! Absolutely nothing, they aren't even prisoners." She released a very angry looking Sigrun... who vanished.
"An illusion? But wheres the real Sigrun?"
"In the back room. With Seigfried. Doing some kind of training."

We were all gathered in the inn room. A group of Five Hairy little Men stood there, reporting.
"Mistress!" He began in a high pitched voice "The mining was successful. With limited loss of life! Sadly, Gnomlin didn't make it. He got too close to one of that Womans Explosives... theres... Theres not a Scrap of him left. But the upgrades to Sebastian can proceed."
"Worry not. Gnomlin is a monster of this dungeon now... He'll reform in a day or two. Continue the good work!"
"Hey!" Sigrun interrupted. "Can we all go home now?"

As the others all tried to run... they found themselves trapped in vines and webbing. And I felt Strong Arms pick me up...

The Invaders dealt with, I decided to check the egg. My newly summoned Hairy Tiny men, a result of a random summon, were All craftsmen and miners... and Would soon Have Sebastian ready to evolve...

As for sei... As a core Master, her mental state is everything... but she's been Subtly Affected by one of Alice's skills... the result: her body will, temporarily, be the size of a newborn. This is to give access to Multiple Evolution Routes... and introduce the Dairy Fairy, who will Not be what might be expected. This will also have some humourous Side Effects...

As for Mental state, yes, if Sei began to think like a Giant berzerker, a giant berzerker she would eventually become... for now. She is very much in the larval stage of a core Master, and is more malleable...

Diapers in this world are cloth, or specially treated silk. Easily Cleanable. Especially with magic. And no, putting a living glob of Acid down there Would NOT be a good idea. Sei uses them as pillows because, as their master, she is immune to their Acid. Sorbet and Jeli are VERY dangerous... they could easily defeat Sebastian, and give Alice a tough fight, despite being lower ranked monsters. What they've been doing lately? Next Chapter.

I see. If sleep is induced by a toxin does that mean that in order to resist it Sei would need to buy something like poison resistance instead of sleep resistance?

One of the reasons they could put up a tough fight for Alice would be because her webbing would be ineffective against them due to their gelatinous bodies and acidity, right?
I asked this because in the novel My Second Chance As A Futa Dungeon Core there is a futa who used a slime as panties, since she couldn't find panties the size of her pp.
@Gin_Otamegane the slimes have a "skin" that they can control, And have Some control over their "blood", The acid that forms them... as long as their nucleus is in tact... but In the case of the King and Queen Slime, the base Acidity is comparable to the Xenomorphs Saliva in Alien.
Alice would have to fight Hand to hand against them, or use magic, And Still wouldn't emerge unscathed... her Chiton would melt, and it's already stronger than Titanium. She would win but... I don't think a half melted Alice would be good for anything.
As for Elgar... he thinks of himself as a man. He was prideful. So the Drug hit him harder. And now, he Has Bladder And Bowel Issues when sleeping. Ardwynn Thought of herself as still a child, And Wouldn't make a big deal over a small accident. Her mind was less rigid, more malleable, so the Drug didn't affect her as much. As for Sei, well... she dosen't. Her body uses 100% of whatever she ingest, theres no waste. Her real body is, technically, the core crystal, it's her "heart". She CAN if she Desired to blend in... but that's all it is. Camouflage.
And sleep resistance DOES help... It's just the sleep toxin is LV9, and Her Resistance is lv2. Even maxed, it's still not sleep immunity... just Resistance. It would hit her eventually.
And yes... That's EXACTLY what lesser Arachne use the Mind Altering Toxin For. Then, after the eggs are produced and laid, they eat the victims. Alice is Far more Evolved, in more ways than one.

@Gin_Otamegane Seigfried was only subjected once. Minimal effect, he just got the increased healing.
There is an antitoxin, but it cant reverse the effects of prolonged exposure. The kingdoms general procedure with lesser Arachne dens is To give the captives "mercy" if they've been there longer than a week. Alice's Toxin however, isn't as destructive, and all one needs is to stop intake... And Broodmothers, her Only available Evolution, Don't posess the toxin at all.
And Runa is capable of infusing her nectar(shes a plant, its technically not milk) with a mind-control agent. She just Dosent. Alarune are dangerous creatures, known to enslave other races to tend their Groves... they have a symbiotic relationship with Pinkies and Dryads, So Rose Is Probably in danger.

@Gin_Otamegane Alarune and alraune are differing spellings of the same creature. Depending upon where you are in the world. Alarune is Gaelic, And Alraune I'd Arabic originally, I believe. Flower Demons. Usually depicted as young girls or women with leaves or flowers on their heads, and large, sharp teeth. In some folklore, they are Fey, similar to Dryads, and are connected to Mandragora/Mandrake...
Dryads in this world are Tree women. Not women that live bound to a tree, Actually Trees that appear to be women. They use this to lure in prey, pretending to be lost... then trap them with their Diamond hard roots and Eat them. They control armies of Ents. The Core Master of The Sylvannis Forest dungeon is a Dryad.(who decides to visit later)
Sei's excretions are just lumps of discarded Proteins. She suffers from intense hunger afterward though. As for liquids... its technically the same acid that makes up Sorbet's body. Her "Urine" can melt Bone and dissolve flesh in seconds. She does not know this, though. Moreover, Sei has Super tough skin. She seems soft and weak, and she is... but her skin is almost uncuttable.

Looks like A Rafflesia-style Dryad or Alarune to me... The creatures Are based on Celtic and Asian/Indian Folklore. Depending upon where you go, the description is different.
For Celts And Gauls, The Alarune(where the name originates from: Aulrünea, iirc) were vicious Flower Fey, That come in a variety of shapes... not the be confused with THE Alarune, A mystical Plant Demon that Ate Tigers and men in Indian Folklore (originally Alruna, iirc) And A similar creature pops up in Asian, African, and South American Folklore... with the latter being Known as the Rafflesia Demon, A small Monster That grows out of Rafflesia blooms and Eats Children.
Most of my knowledge of this is from various Research online... and various Videogames. Nearly every Mythos has ONE plant Demon.
Dryads in this world put their Prey into a magical sleep with a kiss... then pull them underground, Alive, their taproots Burrowing into the victim... These Victims are kept alive by the Dryad, And are slowly leeched of Mana and Life force until nothing remains but a husk...a still Alive Husk. One Victim can last a Dryad three years... it's a Horrible way to die.
The Lumps can, if She wills it, Explode. Again, Sei has no idea. They also make EXCELLENT fuel for torches, burning far longer than tar, in a way quite similar to Coal... And no, the Acid Urine is meant to be a Fear Response. So if shes ever in danger, her body will act automatically... Some Beast is about to Eat her, Acid To the face... then it melts.
