So, here I am after a year. First of all, hello to you all. I actually hadnt planned on making a post for this yet as I didnt think anyone was still checking in, but I received several messages asking me about the book and whether I'm well and good--I am, and really appreciate you guys asking. As for the new novel, its going pretty good, I've written a decent chunk of the plot. Anyone who expected a bad news after getting an update after this long, you can put your heart to rest, I'll keep writing as long as I am able to. And if everything goes well and as I've planned, I'll start posting it by the end of this year. I'll leave an update like this in the stygian mage before I start, so anyone still checking in by that time can find it here. That will be all for now I think. I wish you guys happy days, and may you wake up with smiles every morning.

How's the writing going?
Well, I had an accident about a month ago, collapsed and hit my head on the floor. I live alone so it got pretty bad, couldn't even get up at the time because of concussion, and I also lost all memory of the accident, so I cant even tell what happened. I just woke up and found myself lying on the floor, bleeding from head, and some other injuries on shoulder, neck, and limbs. But I'm almost healed now save for the small knot on the head that gives me a stinging headache almost every day. Anyway, I couldn't write much during all that, just barely wrote a few hundred words per day, but now I'm speeding it up. Hopefully I finish my current volume soon and start posting.
Hopefully the new novel has less tropes. I personally don't like pets.
Are you gonna rework this or dropped it entirely?
I do plan to rewrite this, but it'll have to wait for now. This needs a complete overhaul and reframing from the beginning, it'll be a big project.
@Aleth08 Great! I liked the story, so I hope you finish it at some point. I also invite you to read a little story that I'm writing, hopefully you can give me some advice!
