This has nothing to do with you guys, but on Webnovel (the main place I upload this novel) people have been negative out of nowhere and pretty much sucked the enjoyment out of writing this story so I will be taking a break. I don't want to write unless I am enjoying it.
It's already been a few weeks since I upload it here way later, but I will return to finish it eventually. I plan on doing the novel in parts, so as of now, part 1 is halfway done. After part 1 is done I will probably take another break.

Sorry I haven't been catching up. I'm about where my bookmark is at time of comment, but I wish you all the best. And damn, the negativity SUCKS. Like, I was feeling awfully sorry for myself when I noticed someone un-hearted a chapter of mine, and to be fair, it had a character give a spicy take on trans people in a specific profession, but it still hurt.
I commend you for letting people know what happened. And I hear you. Writing is an art and art needs a passion. It literally dies otherwise.
Take all the time you need. From what I've read, you've had some interesting concepts and ideas to play out.
Haven't even read this yet. But you sound like an earnest author. Much love for your future. Take care of the mental health as well. We authors are used to blue screens, keyboards and digital interaction. A change of pace could be good.
