The once-silent forest was slowly coming back to life with the arrival of the first animals. Strange squirrels-like creatures scurried among the trees, unknown species of birds sang sweetly, and even the soft rustle of leaves could be heard as the gentle breeze passed through. The forest was gradually transforming into a magical oasis.

As the days passed, the concentration of magic power and particles grew stronger, particularly around the Tree of Life. The tree stood tall, its leaves glowing with a luminous green, and its bark emanating a soft golden aura. The energy around the tree was palpable, and it seemed to be spreading throughout the entire forest.

Under the welcoming shade of the tree sat a mysterious white-haired woman, dressed in a long flowing white gown, with two long ears and crimson red eyes. She radiated calming energy, and her serene presence was as soothing as the cool shade of the tree. By her side, lay a bowl of succulent fruits plucked fresh from the trees.

The woman sat cross-legged on the grass, her hands resting on her knees, her eyes nearly closed, and her breathing slow and steady. The animals watched her from a distance, fascinated by her presence, and the calming aura that surrounded her.

{When are we gonna eat those fruits? Karen, ya want to eat those fruits too right?}

[Yes, it's been a while since we have eaten apples...or anything at all]

"Fuck you two"

{Damn, why you gotta be so mean?}

[Well, it's your fault, Ken. You shouldn't have laughed at her for falling into mud twenty years ago]

{Ah?? Come on, you laughed at her too!}

Lately, the voices in her head have been extremely talkative, even more than usual. That was because the woman now didn't look like a soulless puppet. Seeing life appear around her has affected her to her very core. She thought she was alone, and that was true, she used to be alone. But now she isn't the only existence in the world, now there are other living beings other than plants.

[Oh! For God's sake, can we move from this place and do something?]

{Yeah, yeah!}

The woman opened her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to stay calm and ignore the complaints from the voices in her head. To get distracted, she shifted her attention to the bowl with fruits in front of her. It was left by two elves, one dark-skinned woman with white hair and red eyes, and a white-skinned man with blonde hair and blue eyes. Since the first time she encountered them, 2 weeks ago, they have been coming here every morning and replacing the bowl with new fruits. Even though she never ate, they kept coming. Furthermore, they seemed to have imitated her and began dressing in primal skirts made of leaf, they also did a bow each time they come.

The woman looked at the bowl, her eyes fixed on the apples and peaches in it. She was thinking about how much time has passed since the last time she ate anything.

"Might as well give it a try..."

{Omg, yes. Finally!}

[Slay girl, devour those peaches!]

{Karen!? That's lewd!}

[What?]

{Eh?}

[What do you mean...?]

{Ehhh...nothing...}

[...]

[...wtf Ken]

{I-Its not...}

"Stop making weird assumptions..."

[Yeah! Yeah!]

{I-I...}

The woman shook her head, sighed, and then returned her attention to the fruits. She picked up a peach and took a small bite, savoring the sweetness of the fruit. It had been so long since she tasted anything and the simple act of eating brought back memories of a time long ago.

As she ate, she couldn't help but wonder about the two people who left the fruit every day. Why did they keep coming back?

The woman knew that this was not the world she used to be in. Here there was no reason for anyone to bow or treat her with respect. Respect was something that was gained with money or manipulation by her philosophy, those people respected her even though she didn't do anything but exist, and this made her deeply concerned.

"I wonder if those people that come here and give me food are like the elves in fairytales. Or maybe they are cosplaying?"

[Ah? Isn't it obvious they are elves? You know you too might be an elf right? You have two pointy ears, it isn't too hard to guess]

{Haha, dumb}

"...shut it"

The woman has died and was sentenced to immortality by God so she wasn't that surprised about elves existing, what surprised her is that she might be an elf too. She thought she just had big ears, which considering her circumstances was quite a dumb declaration. However, in her defense, she was just thinking realistically, she was sentenced to immortality not to be a beautiful elf. She thought it was improbable cause this punishment isn't even up to the magnitude of her crimes.

"The Lord works in mysterious ways...- Wait a minute... If I'm an elf, why I'm so bad at magic!? Aren't elves supposed to slay on this kind of field..."

{Because you suck ass, Hahahaha!}

[Ken, stop laughing at her! She will get mad again]

{Haha-......... Mmm...you right}

"..."

{I'm tired of peaches, can we eat apples now?}

[Yeah, I wonder how will they taste]

The woman kept eating peaches.

[She is ignoring us... Told you she was going to get mad]

{...I'm bored, let's do another thing}

[Yeah, I'm bored too. Let's try killing living things]

{Hell yeah!}

"No"

{Ah?}

[...Girl, didn't you feel depressed cause you didn't have anything to do? Now there are people and animals, you have no excuse to stay there and do nothing all day. Let's go torture the animals like you used to do in the past. It will be fun!]

{Yeah. Speaking of which, where do all these animals come from? Isn't it weird}

[Dammit Ken, think before you ask useless questions]

{Ah!? What did I do??}

[Isn't it obvious that all comes from the big tree?]

{No?}

[It is]

{No}

[It's obvious]

{No it isn't}

[You just dumb]

{No u}

[Tsk! I ain't even gonna try to argue with a stubborn guy like you]

{I won}

[NO YOU DIDN'T, YOU LITTLE SHIT!]

{Hahahahaha I won}

[YOU DIDN'T WIN. I'M THE ONE WHO WON]

"Can you guys shut it already?"

{If you want us to stop then better begin moving to torture those elves~}

[Not the elves Ken! They need to have kids first. For now, we torture the animals only]

{No way, torturing animals only is boring}

[Your face is boring!]

{But I don't even have a face}

[Exactly]

{Ah??? That makes no sense!}

"Omg, Shut it already!"

{If you want us to stop then better begin moving to torture those elves~}

[Not the elves! Only the animals, Ken!]

"I won't torture anything. I'm retired from barbarity. I don't have time for that drama"

{[W-What!?]}

"That was a long time ago, after my journey of self-reflection I have changed and now I don't feel like it"

{...}

[W-What about our entertainment...?]

"My search for that kind of entertainment is a thing of the past. I have grown up and I'm no longer interested in that kind of thing..."

[Ah? What are you trying to imply with growing up???]

"I'm saying that I'm no longer a child like you two. I need new experiences to entertain myself"

{...}

[...]

[...I thought it was impressive that after all these years of navigating around the world, she didn't become that crazy. I thought it had something to do with the fact that she is unquestionably an elf... I guess I was wrong. She is crazy. How can she believe there is something better than torture and murder... Ken, I'm scared]

{...}

[Ken?]

{...}

[KEN!]

{...}

[KEN! STAY WITH ME KEN!]

{...}

[KEN!!!!]

The woman signed and returned her attention to the forest. She let time pass while she observed the world around her change.

~~~
"The elves haven't come in a while... I want more fruit..."
Time passed and soon one month was already over. The two elves that used to come here all the time haven't come for a week.
Now that she didn't have fruit to distract her and the voices in her head are mad at her, she felt bad. She had no one to talk to, no one to share her pain with. The animals of the forest had accepted her presence, but they couldn't understand her sorrow. Only the false voice in her head was present, and it was everything but comprehensive, in special now that it traversed 'hard moments' due to Ken not responding.
The woman started to be overcome by sadness. She began remembering the time when she used to enjoy the company of her slaves, who were always not eager to listen to her words and follow her commands. The memories of their sufferings brought her melancholy, those memories were the catalyst of her change. She realized that she needed to find entertainment soon, and that's why she decided to leave the shade of the tree.
[Oh!? Ken, I think we leaving!]
{...}
[Ken... C' mon, you alright!]
{...}
[Stop joking Ken, it isn't funny]
{...}
[Ken...]
She stand up and began walking deeper into the forest, her footsteps making a soft rustling sound on the ground. She didn't know where she was going or what she was looking for, but she knew that she needed to find something, anything, that would fill the void inside her.
As she walked, she saw the place of her origin in a new light. The trees were taller, the leaves greener than when she left. The animal helped a lot in making this place feel alive.
She stopped for some moments to watch a family of weird unknown species of rabbits hopping around and then continued walking.
As she wandered, she heard the sound of water. She followed the sound until she reached a small stream, its clear water glistening in the sunlight. She sat down by the stream and watched the water flow. It was something she had done countless times, she didn't find it enjoyable or anything, but it didn't feel bad.
As she sat there, lost in her thoughts, the sound of something approaching caught her attention. She turned around and saw a small, dark-skinned elf kid with black hair and pointy ears.
[Ken, look a little kid. Isn't it interesting? Don't you want to kill it?]
{...}
[Ken...]
{...}
[You woman, look what you have done! This is your fault!!! Ken is...Ken is...!!!!]
The woman ignored the voice in her head and focused instead on the kid. The kid looked like a bloody mess with scratches and tears all over his chubby face and his clothes torn and ragged.
He stared at her in silence for a few moments before whispering with a low and trembling voice, "T-Trees' daughter?"
'Tree's daughter' was the way the elves always referred to her, it was the only word she understood. She assumed that this kid had something to do with those two.
The injured elf kid continued to stare at her, tears streaming from his eyes as if he was about to collapse. He signaled towards the forest, prompting the woman to follow him deeper into the woods.
She knew immediately that this elf was in trouble, and that his injuries were no accident. The woman felt a sense of curiosity stir within her, but it was mixed with a dark, twisted excitement. The idea of danger and chaos was a thrilling concept for her.
Without hesitation, she got up and followed the elf deeper into the forest. She trailed behind him, watching as he weaved his way through the trees while starting from time to time behind. As they walked, the woman began to notice more and more of the forest's hidden wonders. She saw colorful flowers she had never seen before, mushrooms of all shapes and sizes, and heard the songs of birds she had never heard after arriving in this world. She is been wandering this world for 910 years, yet this was the first time seeing all this. Her mood increased even more, and in just a second her melancholic state went away.
After walking for a while, the elf kid stopped in front of some bushes. He turned around and looked at the woman tears dropping from his eyes. With a hesitant look, he moved the bushes and a hidden passage was revealed, he signaled the woman to enter. Without hesitation, she ducked down and came into.
As the woman emerged from the hidden passage she saw a wooden house in front of her, she couldn't help but notice how small and unimpressive it seemed.
The exterior was rough and unfinished, with no ornamentation or decoration to speak of. The roof was made of wooden shingles, some of which were missing or askew. The windows were small and unadorned, with no curtains or shutters to give them any character. The front door was plain and unremarkable, made of rough-hewn planks and held together with simple wood hinges and a latch.
Overall, the house gave off an air of simplicity and humility, as if it had been constructed with practicality and function in mind rather than aesthetics. The woman couldn't help but feel that the house looked cheap and unimpressive for her standards. However, it also provoked a question to appear in her mind.
"How did these elves that didn't even have clothes one month ago constructed this house..."
[Priorities I guess...?]
The woman couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. "Is this all?" she muttered under her breath.
But then, she noticed the blood and a dark liquid on the ground. The sight of the blood immediately put the woman on edge, wondering what kind of chaos was waiting for her inside. She was excited and her curiosity was at her peak. She was immortal anyways, in the worst-case scenario she will act like she is dead or something.
{...death...blood..?}
[Ken! You are back!]
{What did I miss...?}
"For the looks of it, the two elves from before might be in a precarious situation"
{Dead people!?}
"We don't know yet, let's hope they are and the culprit is still there"
[Didn't you have had enough of this kind of entertainment??]
"...I won't kill or attack anyone for no reason. But if it comes to me..."
{...}
[...shameless]
As the woman stepped inside the wooden house, she was greeted with darkness. The only light came from a flickering candle that barely illuminated the room. The air was thick with the scent of rotten meat, making it hard to breathe. The woman recognized the scent from her days before becoming a dictator.
The flickering candlelight barely illuminated the room, casting eerie shadows on the walls. The woman noticed a strange, dark substance on the ground like the one on the exterior, it seemed to lead to a room on the right side. She followed the trail, the substance sticking to her shoes and smearing the floor.
As she entered the room, the sound of heavy breathing greeted her. The woman's eyes adjusted to the dim light, and she saw a grotesque pitch-dark creature feasting on the remains of the elf woman, it seems to be made of some kind of black liquid. She could also discern the head of the elf man. It seemed that the two had died.
Besides the creature, she noticed eight small elf children, their eyes wide with terror as they watched the gruesome scene unfold.
{Beautiful...}
[Ken, this is horrible...now they won't have more kids for us to torture]
The woman felt a dark pleasure welling up within her as she gazed upon the grotesque creature feasting on the remains of the elf couple. It was like nothing she had ever felt before - a mix of excitement, fear, and a strange, twisted pleasure.
As the creature noticed the woman's presence, it turned its gaze toward her, revealing rows of sharp, jagged teeth. The woman felt a rush of adrenaline course through her veins. She raised her right hand and began to cast a barrier spell around the creature, a magical barrier that would immobilize the creature and prevent it from moving.
As the barrier spell took effect, the creature thrashed and roared, trying to break free from its invisible restraints. However, far from breaking the barrier, the barrier only shrunk and became smaller crushing the creature within it, and in the end, it died.
[Huh? Since when can you do that]
"Since today, good lord it worked. That would have been embarrassing"
The woman returned her attention to the kids. They weren't even looking at her, they started at the ground and seemed to be in some kind of trance.
{That felt good. I feel my stress levels going down}
[Agree, it felt refreshing]
{Welp, now let's go for the kids}
[Tsk! Not the kids yet Ken. They need to grow and have kids so we can have a stable income of entertainment]
{Then what do we do? They will die in a week or so}
[...idk]
[...]
[...]
"I guess I'll have to take care of them"
[...]
{...Did you truly go crazy... Helping people...you??}
"You see, I been thinking of new ways of entertainment. In the end, I have concluded that I should just do it the easy way like in the past before dying"
[Then...?]
"Gonna create a country and become a dictator for the second time, then I will see the world to nuclear destruction again. What do you guys think?"
