I have been suffering in this farm prison for five years. For the past five years, I have been the sole owner of cabin B8. Is this because no one commits petty crimes here or is this world just that dangerous that criminals only commit crimes that are far worse.It's not like there has been no new inmates but they might have a rotation system since they were sent to C, D, and A groups, My cabin should be next.

It's not like I can't do the field work, its actually easier now since I did bulk up and look macho-er.
I'm not huge but enough to be called macho. The macho dandy mule are giving me 'comrade' looks though. I still kept up my meditating but so far I didn't unlock anything, there is no noticeable effect so far.

As said before by B8 knight, I didn't really gain any kind of active skills from the slave class. When I asked him/her how to unlock class and jobs he/she said that learning in the academy will unlock most magic and combat jobs and class or I could just reach some 'enlightenment' from doing random stuff like the people in the old days. That somehow feels like a propaganda to make the kingdom control and monitor those who have power. I guess the only way to survive is to become a self-sufficient farmer in a far out village. I do have the job but I want to at least have a class for combat to protect myself.

The students are early today, I observed them for the last five years but I never even felt the flow of power when they activate magic. What requirement do I have to do in order to unlock magic class? I don't really want to learn from the academy. It should cost a lot of money and I already wasted a lot of time in prison.

"Good Morning, Please work your hardest today too. People in the B group are in charge of planting watermelon today. The quota is 10 horse wagons, Questions?"
And we are dismissed, I have been through this path numerous times so the humongous farm lands that I saw before seem small now.
When the vegetables or vegetables we are harvesting are relatively big they send out the slim horses pulling a long line of wagons that somehow looks like train carts connected. The horses look arrogant and they sometimes flip their hair like some male idol. I want to kill them.

I also noticed how B8 the morning announcer and everyone of authority that can talk in this prison always follow the same speech. Their responses are scripted. Is this part of the security countermeasure? I talked to B8 in a variety of topics but most of 'its' response always circle around to making me work for the kingdom after prison. I wonder which hero made this script. It might be safer to travel to a nearby kingdom once I am free.

The food taste good though, well done food hero. I am going to miss this when I am free. I want a farm near the forest, that way I can hunt and forage for food in my first few months where my crops are still growing.
Hello Mr. pickaxe, you are still as pointy as ever. I would also need to purchase farm tools, proper ones since I don't have a group of students to water and mix the soil for me. The tools would be expensive and I also need to maintain it.
The ones here in the shed doesn't need it so it must be made from a harder type of metal. Is this the legendary-mythril-coating-for-the-useless-items extravagance that OP heroes do?

Using the pickaxe for farming is super easy now, the view is still as bad as ever, a big open field with walls and watchtowers on one side and the barracks and the back of the castle on the other.
Hmm, a princess is coming over the fields surrounded by what looks like royal guards. Long blonde hair, asian face, I can't judge the height but the dress is covered by armour that has a red and blue theme. One of the previous heroes descendant probably.
The Royal guards are wearing heavy-looking armour holding massive shields and a mace? Oh, a group of leather armoured scouts? are surrounding the whole field while holding crossbows. It looks like instant death if you offend the princess in any way. Please don't come near me. They won't announce anything at all? or did the princess order it to be so. At least there is no trumpets to announce her 'presence'.

They made a lap around the fields and stopped at the platform. The princess looks stiff, is she forcing herself to come here among the inmates? At least I won't have to worry about any selfish order from her like 'all prisoners entertain this princess by dancing' or 'let the prisoners fight to the death to amuse me'. I would probably win though, most of the other prisoners looks like twigs in comparison to me. No offense but you are just lazy people who need others to pickaxe a whole field you can't beat this solo farmer who exercise. I already have a good body base I should start learning how to fight, no one will teach me though so action movies don't fail me now. I'll just copy some training montage I remember.

Hmm, they're pointing at me? Am I in trouble? I mean, I did finish early and started to exercise but that shouldn't be a violation of the rules. A royal guard is on his way to me, unlike the knights you can see their face though its a bit obstructed.

"You have been summoned, dry yourself with this."
He said as he throws me a towel. I am sweaty so I welcome the towel since I can't wait until the afternoon when they deliver the fresh clothes for the prisoners. Apparently our clothes are made by the students of the academy as a handicraft project.
I wonder what they want with me, I'm halfway through my sentence please just leave me in one piece.
"Guh!"

A short spear appeared in front of me. If you want me to stop at a certain point you could have signaled instead!!

Oh god its a long 'eloquent' passage explaining that they will make me leave this place because of some tradition the hero of the past created, please just get to the point so I could reject this.
"One prisoner every 100 years from the least dangerous prison group shall be given a chance to train and work for the palace as the assistant to the children of the king to learn skills and knowledge in aid for their release."
Called it, I just wonder if the skills they mentioned is the skills from class or normal skills from actually working?
"The chosen inmate will be shadowing the current princess as her assistant, along with her personal maid, to learn what she learns until your sentence has been finished."
Is that it? no more flowery words to explain me being a worker form the field to being a worker over there?
"You will be given a salary that will be available to you at end of the sentence and be given a uniform to match your now elevated position. Do you understand?"
