It's quite loud in the carpenters house. They don't have a store front, as expected of a village business.
*knock* *knock* "Excuse me!!!"

It must be too loud inside to hear anyone. No choice, I will wait until it quiets down. I don't really want to yell and compete with their noise.
It's taking a while huh, my [Internal Body Clock], which I got in my butler class to properly time brewing tea, and coffee, tells me it has been 2 hours. It doesn't tell the time but tell me how much time passed when I set a starting point, its better than nothing I guess. I forgot to ask if they have an inn in this place. I don't have anywhere to live while they build my house.

I hit the three hour mark. Finally, it seems they are done.
*knock* *knock* "Excuse me!!"
"Ah, YES, I'm on my way! Wait a bit!"
What a loud voice, I guess your voice has to be that loud if you want someone to hear it inside that workshop.

"Ooh!, Aren't you the new resident the chief was showing around this morning. I've been waiting for you come since the chief came back. What are you waiting for come in, come in. I'm the head carpenter Rock Hammer, welcome to the carpenters workshop."
"Thank you, I'm the new resident, Brill Insanity. I want to commission you to build me my house and storage barn."
The workshop and everything they are building is in the backyard, I guess its easier to build furniture outside. Ah, they also have a huge inner workshop. I don't have any plans to be a carpenter so I will just ignore why they made stuff outside or inside. I'm only a consumer after all.

"Please have a seat. I'll get some papers first, so make yourself comfortable."
This chair is quite comfortable. The furniture in this room looks awesome too. This must be their strategy to showcase their craftsmanship.
"I'm back, please give me the details of how you want it made. Do you also want to purchase furniture? We have some ready made ones or you can also put in a custom order."

"We don't really have one, the last blacksmith went out of business since there is too little demand. If you want stuff like those you have to buy some form the merchants. They no that there is no supply so its a more expensive than usual. Don't worry though, its doesn't reach an unreasonable level since this village produces a lot of crops by itself. We can survive by ourselves after all and selling some of our harvest is only for extra cash. If the merchants aren't here we probably barter by ourselves hahaha. Oh, we will survey your place first to get an idea of what we need to prepare. After that we will give you our quote. Do you have a place to stay? we have a guest room here rent with food is 2 gold coins a week, its pretty noisy though."
"Then I will trouble you during my stay."
"The guest room is the one next door, My daughter will call you when dinner comes. I'll take some of the young ones to take a look at your place, if you have questions you can ask anyone here they already know about you. Well then, OI YOU BASTARDS WE HAVE A JOB, TAKE SOME SURVEY TOOLS AND FOLLOW ME!"

Loud! As expected of the head carpenter. What to do, I can visit the merchants now but I don't have a house yet so buying it now will only make unnecessary baggage for me. My [Butler storage] only has the capacity of five chest boxes. Most of my extra clothes and weapons are inside there. I also have the tea set princess gave me along with some tea leaves and fruit tea mixes. I only told the princess that my storage can only store a single chest box, if she knew I could store so much she would have made me carry her clothes and a full living room furniture set so she can feel 'at home' and relax in the forest.

I don't really want to check the prices today too. They might raise the price if they know I'm in need of them. If I waited long enough they might even lower the price if they bought extra stock of items when they heard there is a new resident in this village, hehehe.

Maybe I could buy some extra seeds to plant. I have some but not enough to cover my whole farm field. I don't really want to involve myself to my fellow villagers but it can't be help. Its cheaper to buy it from them than the merchants after all.

Oh, looks like someone came home, she must be the daughter or one of the apprentice.
"Excuse me, I'm the new resident Brill. Could I ask you if there is anyone who is selling seeds in the village."
"Yes, I'm Nina Hammer, the head carpenters granddaughter. Welcome to forfarm Village. Harvest season just ended so most farmers have some extra seeds right now. If you want some vegetable seeds go out the eastern gate and turn left at the first intersection the vegetable farmers all live in that street. If you head right you will meet herb farmers, if you continue straight the fruit farmers live there. This should also be a good chance to introduce yourself to everyone. Don't worry if you get back a little late, we will set aside some dinner for you."
"Thank you, then its best if I get started right away. Its almost the afternoon and I don't want to disturb them during dinner preparation afterall. I'm off, see you later then."

What a pain, to think I have to visit all of them. I want to have a variety of food so its best to have a little of everything. haaah, what a pain. I could compromise and stick to the few seeds I bought at the capital but I don't want to live on a compromise. I chose this life so I will get everything I need with no one to stop me. Even myself. I might have been influenced too much by the princess' thriller books. I'm starting to get edgy.  I'll just ignore that impulse, I need to remember how I live my life before that. Live by myself, rely on myself and quietly and peacefully spend everyday without anyone disturbing me.
