"Unggghhhh!!!"

The fence is finally done. Man, that was exhausting. Having a nice stretch after a hard work always feels great, hearing these bones of mine pop as I stretch is a little fun too. To think building a fence would take me three days without the help of magic. If I didn't build up my muscles and exercised everyday I don't think I would finish this fast. However, I don't really mind this type of mundane daily life. Slowing down and enjoying my solitude like this makes me feel every minute and every second of my life. It creates this feeling of peace and brings comfort to my soul.

I have too much time and I don't have much to do though. How boring, If only I could have brought some of my games with me. I don't mind even if its only the old ones since most of the games I brought are designed to be played indefinitely. I have farm games that could be forever played, I have dungeon crawlers odyssey that I could replay hundreds of times because of the different party class combinations, and not even including the different types of skill composition I could make.

I do have some story rpg game but I hate how some of them have focused on the cut scenes rather than the gameplay. Is it too much to ask having a different class for the main character. I hate how most games have a dead set fixation on main characters being sword users. Swords are good and all but I want some other variety too, specifically a staff user, not the magic staff but a character holding a large stick of wood bashing people up. I can't help but still buy those games since I'm a sucker for rpg's though. It's an underhanded ploy to make use of a gamer's desire to collect everything they see.

Barely in the afternoon, huh. I have a lot of time to kill. The wind isn't blowing and the sun is still quite high, which means it's not the time to laze around in my perfectly comfortable rocking chair at the top of the barn.

Maybe I could hunt and sell it to the butcher for some pocket money. I wanted to buy some eggs for easy food that would last me a long time. Eggs should survive for a few weeks if I store it at my cellar/cool storage. I don't have a steady source of food until my farm reach its harvest season. Also, since it should also bring me a lot of fruits and vegetables I could sell the bulk of my leftover to earn some money. When I reach that point I don't have to hunt animals to sell and straight up use money to buy some meat. I would get sick eating nothing but plants after all, I need to have some meat and bread to be the main meal. Thinking about bread, maybe I could set a portion of my farm to be a wheat zone so I could make flour for bread? Forget about it, I don't have the knowledge to make an oven, make flour or bake bread. Wait, since I now have all the time in the world couldn't I use this to learn all that stuff? No, I would rather not. I don't want to interact with others as much as possible. It would only drag me down and tie myself with social obligations. I could survive without all that after all.

Let's just go to the forest and quickly hunt something to sell.

The northern forest, compared to the southern forest that has an eerie atmosphere that is ready to attack the moment you let your guard down, this forest has more sounds of life. If I properly listen I could hear the small rustling of bushes that is the result of an animal passing through underbrush. First, things first, I should climb a tree and observe the surroundings. There is a trick to climbing trees, you don't just climb a tree and expect it to be easy just because you frequent the gym on the weekends when you have no school. Like, my old friend who was boasting about his muscles that he 'forged' in the gym. When we went camping bringing along our girlfriends for some outdoor 'experience' he tried to show off and climbed a tree. Halfway up he slipped and landed on a branch strongly landing on his water gun. hehe, he was sent to the hospital because he broke his leg on the way down, not to mention the bruise he got between his legs. His girlfriend got sick of him always showing off so she broke up when that incident happened, The camp trip continued, he didn't get to 'play' and I got to experience a double team outdoors. It was fun but also tiring.

In trying to climb a tree, the first thing you do is choose what to climb. A tree that has a lot of places to grab is best, it also needs to have sturdy branches to support your weight and lastly don't try to climb a wet tree like an idiot and get your peashooter squashed. During climbing its also best to have a secure hold on at least three points on the tree for safety. If you do it carefully, you will be at the top like this and see a great view of the surroundings. I say that but in this world where you have magic, or more strengthening to your physical abilities you can just jump up and land on the branch.

Now the, which one should I hunt and sell. It would be bad to bring large animals every time I go to the butcher. If I over saturate the village with meat, the hunters would lose their jobs and it would also make the amount of money I make from selling less. Most merchants don't want to buy meat because it's easy to spoil on the road. At best, the merchants that employ an ice magician would buy it but the quality needs to be high and the quantity needs to be a lot to make it worth their time. Let's try searching for some chickens or something. There should be some wild chickens running around here, they should be easy to catch and maybe I can find some nest to find the eggs too. I hope they aren't fertilized since I don't want to have a russian roulette situation every time I crack an egg.

No luck, eh. I can't find any chickens around, I can't even find a nest above here on the trees. Let's just go with the usual rabbits. They multiply fast so I won't have to be worried about over hunting. They are small enough that a single person can consume it so there is no chance of over saturating the village with it unless I bring it in by the hundreds. The best way to hunt for rabbits, get the most yield for profits, would be to damage the pelt and meat as less as possible. Catching it alive would be best for freshness since the butcher could process it best. However, I don't have such a skill to catch it alive. If I set some traps beforehand that would be different but I didn't plan such a thing. Maybe I should set some traps starting from now since I would need to keep up the hunting until I get my harvest.

For now I should do what I do best and throw daggers or snipe them with arrows. It would put a hole in them that would lessen the value but I have no choice. I seem to remember finding some rabbit burrows somewhere near here. Five or eight should suffice for my needs. I hope the butcher is selling some poultry because I have some cravings for it right now, I could probably get the eggs if I go to the livestock farmers. They might give me some neighbor discounts since everyone here in this village is so nice. Their niceness is easy to exploit but it still makes me sick though.
