"How weak, are brats these days this wimpy? You won't get stronger if you keep resting like that, tsk tsk tsk. In the Raging Green Inferno Goblin army, response like that would be punished by a couple thousand flying tadpoles."
"Flying tadpoles?"
"You don't even know that!? I'll let that slide since you don't have memories. Flying tadpoles are used to train your arms and back. You lie down like you are doing a push ups then push yourself forward like a flying tadpole. If you do it frequent enough you will have muscles are great as mind. GRR!"

He says that as she shows me a back spread of his muscles. I do admit it's pretty impressive, it looks like a demons face is grinning at me.

"How does a goblin even build up like this?"
"Hmm, of course we can build up like this. We trained after all. Could it be you remember memories about goblins being the weak scrawny twigs like in the human continent? Those are just offshoots who lost their reason to savagery. We goblins in the dwarf continent are descendants of the great Goblin king that was a companion to the Tamer hero tom. The goblin king used to be like those brainless bunch in the human continent but the Tamer hero put him through a power up training to evolve into the goblin king. The training regiment was lost over the years but we won't give up and train until we too could follow the first goblin king and evolve into the next one. So far the highest we could go is a hobgoblin but I'm sure our descendants could reach that height again."
"Oooh, I am still tired though so I would pass. I don't think a dwarf could evolve too. I still need to clean my new room too."
"Tsk, after that glorious story you still won't train your body. Go, go, before I pummel you to the ground and force you to train. Tsk, young people nowadays really don't have spines."

I need to escape now before I am forcefully dragged into some unknown torture session. I do want to train myself up since my trained body when I was a human is gone now. I am built pretty solid but if I stop I might become a blob again. Blacksmithing requires a lot of strength too so I need to get stronger. I doubt they have power hammers here or any kind of machine to help so every thing needs to be manually made.

Ah, I'll just think about all that later, For now I need to check out my room and sleep. My stamina is still good but the mental fatigue from all that happened today is piling up.

Should I check out the facilities first since I'm on the first floor? I only glanced at them the first time I came here. I haven't eaten anything yet too. NO, first thing first is to see my living quarters and settle in. I live only live at the third floor after all, it's not too late to come down to eat later.

Hello third floor, I will be living here for a while please don't collapse because of explosions. I feel like I got childish lately, is that memory implant getting to me more than I thought. I hope it won't cause problems since if I keep dying I would have to take in more memories, I want to keep my original personality as much as possible.

Eh!? Eh!? I hear something rolling down the stairs, is it a bomb? all the way from the top floor? What do I do I'm in front of the stairs and I'm far from my room. I can't afford to die this early!

Thank goodness the room door near the stairs are unlocked. I can stay here to take cover.

"Oh, something fell down again?"
"Eh? yeah."

Someone is actually living here, another dwarf from the looks of it.

"New student? Calm down, Wait 10 second after the explosion."
"Oh, thank you."
"I need to go somewhere so just leave the door unlock when you leave, I don't have anything important here so don't worry. Those who live near the stairs typically keep our door unlocked in case of things like this, if you see a large sign outside the door then it's locked because we want some privacy. I really need to leave so, Bye"

He jumped out the window. It's only the third floor floor but what strong bones he has. Can I also do that? Are dwarfs a being that has strong bones? It does makes sense since they are strong, they would need a strong bone to support that strength.

*Booooooomm*

It should be safe now right? It looks safe but a bit smoky. I need to go to my room before anything else explode. If you are carrying something like a bomb then don't bring it outside the room!

Living here would probably make me numb to explosions like that guy who jumped outside the window. I don't actually mind the explosion, even though I work at a bookstore, a person living in a city is used to noises. The problem with the explosion is the damage, instead of being numb to the sound I hope to be immune to the damage. Can I train that kind of passive? I am going to learn blacksmithing and I will get the class and job suitable for it. It should have a fire resistance passive and something that would make my defense tougher, right? The problem is that I can't see what passives I have and how strong my passive's strong are. Most of the passive I know are the one's I earn from the starting gift and the already learned passives recorded in books. The hero should have left some kind of device to see a person's stats and skills, at least do something to make the life of the succeeding otherworlder's life.

So this is my room. It's quite big but there isn't much inside. One bed, one desk, one bookshelf, a big dresser and a weapon rack. Everything a student dorm needs. Should I assume that the weapon rack is for us blacksmith students or just a general everyday storage for everyone? We do live in a place where combat can't be avoided, if you leave the town.

I don't have any clothes, I don't have any food, I don't have any stuff. I should have went to the kitchen directly. However, if you move in a new place the first thing you do is check out your room and relax a bit. It's important to do this to acclimate yourself to it. Like moving a cat to a new place they need to be kept inside the new place and feel 'at home' for a few days, or so I heard.

I know I gave up and committed double suicide in my previous life but I still feel depressed thinking about my perfect home I ran away from. Especially when I see this small single bed, It's also not as soft as my previous bed, It smells a bit too. How regretful!!

Well, this is a dorm room and the students are in charge of building maintenance, so most things are probably second hand and isn't cleaned perfectly. I need to do a once-over everything and clean it, I don't want to be sick from whatever kind of dirtiness the previous tenant had. If I find some things left behind then it's mine, you left it so you basically put it up for grabs. I should find some cleaning supplies at the janitor's closet.

Looks like I am going to work out today, at least my legs does with all this up and down the stairs. What a crazy janitor's closet, this is huge, about twice as big as my room. There are cleaning supplies and construction supplies too, and they have around 20 sets of everything. A bucket, mop, broom dustpan a couple of rags and some dust cloth should suffice. I'll take the hammer and some nails just in case, some sandpaper and that thing that peels wood. What do you call it, wood shaver? planer? Planer sounds weird its not a plan. I'll take the stuff up my room first and leave the bucket since I need to fill it up with water.

Now that I'm in front of my room the third time, I can't help but amaze on how they have door locks here. There was no such thing as a lock in the human continent, maybe because humans can't make the delicate mechanism of locks, As expected of the dwarf continent. I'll leave these things here for now, no wait I don't actually need the mop until i finish everything else first so I can start cleaning now.

I should do empty half the room and clean this place half and half. I should start with my bed side of the room since there are less things to move.

The mattress is light but the wood bed isn't as heavy as I thought and it looks like there are some stuff left by the previous student. Some books, I hope it's not borrowed from the library since I don't want to return it, a couple of beat up thingamabob and as expected porn magazines, lots of lots of porn magazines. This student must have failed. For now everything goes into the thrash.

I should have fetch the mop at the start, I need to mop under the bed before I put it back after all. Never mind I should still be able to use water magic and I think my mana is still the same, thank you [Soul Memory]. I don't have the bucket but I have a huge window where I can wring out the mop head. Let's do this.

I'm finally done, things went better than expected. The hammer and nails didn't come in handy but the wood shaver and sandpaper was useful. There were some rough parts on the desk and chairs. The previous tenant must have been rough with things, or all this stuff must have been really old. I did find some other stuff especially under the dresser and the drawers on the desk. Some leftover ink and a feather, the ink dried and the feather should be the writing tool but it's also beaten up, garbage it is. There were also some more porn magazines and its really well preserved, garbage too. There is a couple of towels too, it looks clean but I won't take chances.

If I had a choice I would shave a couple of layers of wood to remove the taint of the previous tenant and change the mattress too but I don't have any money. This will have to do, I hope I don't get sick.

I got more hungry after all that, I got myself all dirty too. The dust and wood shavings were cleared with wind magic since I don't have amazing control of fire magic to only target them without burning other things. I should take a shower and get something to eat.

Wait, I only have this shirt, underwear and pants to wear. What do I do? I should visit the laundry room first and clean the sheets, blankets, towel and my clothes. Looks like I have to spend washing clothes naked, how novel. This is a mens dorm so it should be common right? I mean this does have a communal bathroom.

This is the second time I'm naked in front of others since I came to this town. *sigh* Might as well get it over with.

*click* *opens door*
