Days later. Suddenly she was dry. 

she barely replies, and when I ask her if she wants to go out she declines, 

she never declines my offers.

This made me worried, so I told my friends.

"I'm worried, I think she's falling out of love." I said

"What?!" Aries asked, 

"these past few days she's been really dry." I said. 

"well maybe she's just busy" Aries said. 

"Busy? I sure hope she's just busy." 

"I've already grown attach to her." I said

"You worry too much." Said one of my friends.

"You guys know I have attachment issues, and that I'm also an overthinker."

"I overthink everything, to the point that my chest starts to hurt" I said

"Don't worry I'm sure she's just busy" Aries said

"I don't know man, sometimes you gotta trust your gut" I said. 

"I just don't understand, I mean even if she's just busy then why doesn't she tell me?"

"Why don't you ask her? why she's been dry lately." Aries said. 

To which I replied 

"I do plan on asking her." 

"Tomorrow after school."

"Goodluck bro." Said of my friends

I was genuinely worried, my gut is usually right, like it's always right. I was scared that it was true, that she was actually falling out of love.

Tomorrow is today.

I have a strange guilt feeling in my chest, 

I feel, scared. 

I didn't want to get my heartbroken, specially in school.

So I waited till school was over, and tried finding Luna, but then I saw her, she was alone, walking home, so I shouted her name.

"LUNA!"

And I ran up to her.

"can we talk?" 

We both said at the same time, 

which surprised me, it also made me scared, I was afraid she was gonna say that she's falling out of love. 

"Let's talk" I said. So we sat down at the streets, and started talking.

"I noticed you've been really dry lately, is everything alright?" I asked. 

"I'm good.." she replied.

"You sure? Then why have you been so dry lately?" I asked. 

"I didn't want to tell you this yet but, it's kind of bothering me how were always together, we're always on calls, we hangout often, I just don't wanna give you false hope since I only see you as a friend." She said.

Which broke my heart, I was confused, I didn't know how to react.

"b.. but. What?" No words was coming out of my mouth.

"I'm sorry" Luna said. 

"But the words you said."

"If I wait for you, you'll wait for me." 

"LUNA IS THAT STILL A THING?? is that still a promise?" those were the words that came out of me.

She said "I'm sorry, I was confused back then I-"

I didn't let her finish her sentence, I cut her off and said 

"I just need an answer yes or no." 

"I don't want any excuses, just be straight forward." 

As tears start forming from her eyes, I could clearly see that she was also heartbroken, with a tear in her eye, she said.

"no.." 

which shattered my heart, 

"oh... I see" 

I was lost. 

I didn't know how to react, no tears were coming out my eyes. 

I was simply defeated. 

"I'm sorry." She said.

"That hurts alot, I wanted you to be my Love, the one I'll spend my future with." I said 

while tearing up, Luna looked at me. 

"I'm sorry." 

"I still wanna wait for you." 

"I don't wanna give up on you." I said.

which to she replied.

"pls don't, I don't wanna hurt you anymore."

"You truly are kind, thank you." I said.

"I'm sorry." She said, 

so we both went home, 

we both went separate ways..

when I got home, that's when I wanted to release my emotions.

but for some reason I couldn't cry, no tears were forming. 

So I just sat still, and I took it all in, in one breath.

"I can't believe that just happened." I whispered to myself.

"Maybe love just isn't for me." I said

"Man I'm so sorry to hear what happened, that one's on me." Aries said.

"Don't blame yourself Aries." I said which to Aries replied 

"but because of me you confessed to her, it's my fault" 

"Your not the one to blame, I had a choice, I chose this path to follow."

"Like you said, it's fate it does it's own thing."

"I'm so sorry for what had happened."

"I feel so devastated, this feeling in my chest won't go.." 

"it's just so heavy,"

Aries replied "We gotta move on, plenty of other girls out ther-" 

I cut him off before he could finish his sentence and said 

"that's easy to say, it's different when you start to love someone." 

"I know it's difficult, but we can't just keep carrying the past with us, you'll move on soon." Aries said

"I sure do hope so." I said.

"I wish there was a way to forget everything, everything that happened."

"..."

It went silent after I said that.

"I wanna write a book." 

"Oh so now you're a book writer?" Aries replied.

"I wanna write a story about a girl named Luna."

"You're going to write your story?" 

"Yeah"

"Wouldn't that just make it harder for you to move on?" Aries replied.

"It probably would, but who cares, I guess this is just my way of coping."

"You have a strange way of coping." Aries replied.

"Break my heart and I'll turn it into book."

I said.

To which made me laughed and said. 

"The book is going to be called *your average love story.* "

"It's going to be about the love life of a boy."

"Seems interesting." Aries said.

"I'll be your first supporter." Said Aries.
