I took several throwing daggers ( Kunai ) and started throwing them in rapid succession in the direction of a tree several meters away with an X marked on the trunk of it.

The Kunais flew quickly in the direction of the tree, it seemed that Gabriel was an expert marksman capable of hitting targets regardless of distance or size.

Mark the "It seems" because of all the kunai he had thrown, none of them had hit the target, nor was it close to doing so.

Gabriel, seeing this, murmured " Mmmmm , let's do it the traditional way."

Retrieving the kunais , he continued his practice. His ability, although it didn't seem like it, had advanced a lot from when he started, being able to hit most of the time as long as it was a static target.

He had asked his summon to move and I would throw the Kunais at him . What resulted in separating from some that managed to hit more by luck than by skill, all failed.

Of course, this was to be expected considering that he had only started practicing a very short time ago. With your current progress you should be able to use it in real combat in no time.

He had also practiced with archery, but since he didn't have much knowledge about it, he could barely do it correctly. It would take her much longer to master archery than dagger throwing, so she opted to stick with Daggers and leave archery in the background.

The training made time go by quickly, even though he had no way to measure time correctly, he felt like at least an hour had passed. So it was time to finish the training and it was time to continue with the leveling.

Spear-wielding Summoning led the way, and before long we found a Goblin wielding a short sword. The most remarkable thing about this is that his weapon was stained with a red liquid.

Considering the options, it most likely belongs to a human.

"I guess some of them weren't very lucky," I muttered.

Without thinking too much about it, he ordered the summon to fight and take out the Goblin .

I don't doubt the invocation for a moment, it's as little as if I could do it since it didn't seem to contain any trace of emotions of any kind. Which is why he would never back down from an order no matter how absurd.

He walked quickly and confidently towards the Goblin , revealing his existence to it. The Goblin could tell by both the sound of footsteps and the sound of metal scraping across the floor.

He was surprised to see such a mysterious creature, being a completely white humanoid figure like a ghost. But regardless of the astonishment, he raised his sword towards the mysterious being .

The Goblin and the summoning were looking at each other, analyzing each other and looking for a way to finish off the other with as little trouble as possible.

Although the invocation did not seem to have emotions of any kind, it did seem to contain some degree of intelligence, so it could analyze the opponent and take actions based on said information.

The first to attack was the summon, running towards the Goblin with great speed. The Goblin was surprised by the great speed displayed by the mysterious being, so he swung his sword at the being.

The summoning stopped for a moment and deflected the sword with his spear using only his left hand, while at the same time making an attack with his remaining hand. Concentrating all of his remaining strength into his arm to deal as much damage as possible.

The Goblin upon receiving the blow to the stomach, hunched over with a face of pain, momentarily losing his ability to resist.

The summoning didn't stop and he slammed his knee into the Goblin 's jaw to further stun him. Once he lost all sense of his surroundings, he raised his weapon and slashed at the Goblin 's head , piercing through it without a hitch and killing him instantly.

The entire battle had lasted barely a minute and a half, an extremely short time compared to what it took him to win a single match.

Gabriel couldn't help but be astonished by it. Everything it took him to kill just one of them was completely nullified by his summoning, which killed him before he could do anything.

Sighing with mixed emotions, she got up and walked over to the summon.

"Good job," he told his summon. She put her hand on her chest and slightly lowered her head as a sign of obedience. Nodding his way over to the goblin , he checked his weapon, the sword was fair, having a bit of a wear on the edge from use, so he wasn't interested in carrying a weapon he wasn't even going to use.

They had nothing more than that and they also had no reason to stay, so they left the place as quickly as they arrived.

He decided to continue looking for other opponents for his summon, both to make him gain more experience and to quickly increase his level using his summon.

They found several Goblins on their way, so their summon was able to defeat them without any problem. Although sometimes it took him a bit more, but in the end he was able to defeat them in a matter of a few moves and tricks to disarm them or stun them for a few seconds to kill them.

Gabriel was sitting next to the log while he watched his summon kill another Goblin , with this one they had already finished off four of them without any difficulty.

At this point he was no longer amazed to see his summon kill the Goblins with ease, so now he doesn't even hide his presence from the enemies, since they would die so fast anyway that they wouldn't have time to escape.

As usual, the Goblins ' equipment was pretty bad so they didn't take anything from them.

Gabriel sighed as he checked his status window.
He was happy with the fact that his summon could kill the monsters with ease, but right now he was having an unexpected little problem.

Normally by this point his level should have risen, but to his surprise it hadn't yet.

If he remembered correctly, the amount of Exp needed to level up increased slightly per level.

Getting to Tier 1 was a bit of a different matter, as the status window is most likely granted by completing the quest {First Blood}. So it didn't really matter how much exp it gave as in the end you would always get the status window and thus level 1.

From then on everyone else would need to get Exp to keep leveling up. Being that to go to level 2 it was necessary to kill 1 Goblin and a rabbit, following it was that to increase to level 3 it was necessary to kill 2 Kobolds.

But now to go from level 3 to 4 it was necessary to kill more than four Goblins . The accounts did not add up.

He first thought that the Exp given by a Kobold was higher than that of a Goblin , but he really doubted that. First of all, the strength of the two was not very different, so a 0.5 increase would still be quite generous for a creature that showed the same characteristics as its equivalent.

As I wasn't sure how leveling up worked either, aside from the fact that you needed to kill to level up and the Exp was a unit created just to serve as an imaginary number given to each monster using the amount of them needed to level up. .

Taking the Goblin as 1, the Kobold as 1.5 and the Rabbit as 0.5. Then the measurement became simple.

Level 1: It takes 1 exp (A Goblin ).

Level 2: It takes 1.5 exp (A Goblin and a rabbit).

Level 3: It takes 3 exp (2 kobolds).

Although there was a slight jump in exp needed between level 2 and 3, this wasn't necessarily the case. Rather, the amount of exp needed to raise it to level 3 was exceeded and the rest was saved or lost in the leveling process.

Being that originally it would be 2 Exp to go to level 3, it would be 1 kobold and a rabbit or two Goblins .

So taking that measurement as a guide, level 4 should need 2.5 or 3 exp , in case the level needed to increase to level 3 if it were 3 exp , then 5 exp or at most 6 exp could be needed .

But this was only if that's how Exp worked . Since there was no proof that it worked that way either, and since he had no other way to guide himself, he could only accept that this was the way this system worked.

Continuing with the important things, Gabriel and his summon continued to search for other monsters to level up.
