Gabriel and the summon quickly encountered a monster, it was a Kobold carrying a bow, something strange to see.

Since he had a ranged weapon, he thought that physically attacking him might lead to unnecessary injuries. So instead he changed his weapon from a spear to a bow, and sent him off to fight.

The invocation hidden among the trees, taut the bowstring. This would be his first real battle using a bow, so he hoped he could at least hit an arrow before he counterattacked.

For safety's sake I stayed a bit away from where the summoning was, with a pair of daggers in case I had to intervene.

The summon looked at its target, the greenish-skinned Kobold. Slowly the bowstring reached its limit, and the arrow aimed directly at the monster's head. Taking aim and making sure that his target was within striking range, he released the rope.

The Arrow flew swiftly, cutting through the air in the direction of the monster.

The Arrowhead smashed into the monster's head, burying itself deep into its skin and taking its life so quickly that it couldn't even realize what had happened.

His body lost strength and he fell to the ground like a marionette whose strings had been cut.

Gabriel nodded when he saw the result, he wasn't expecting much, but luckily he had managed to remove it cleanly.

Gabriel came out of his hiding place and his invocation followed him closely. I get to the front and the corpse, I just take out the arrow and inspect it, luckily the arrow hadn't broken, so it could still be used again.

Seeing the result, he couldn't help but get excited at how effective the ranged attacks were.

With that done, they left the place to continue. They hunted a total of five of them, and he was completely irritated that no matter how much they killed their level didn't increase in the slightest.

Exasperated by this, they found another Goblin with a dagger and his summons killed him with ease.

[The cumulative experience of the summon has reached the maximum limit]

[Skill {Summon Risen} has increased in Level]

[Summon Minion skill level changed from 1 to 2]

[Due to the level increase of the skill {Summon Minion}, the skill {Summon Minion} has increased in Grade]

[{Summon Minion} ability increased from {Elemental} to {Intermediate}]

Information suddenly appeared in his brain, but since it was the second time it had happened, he was not surprised.

It directly opened its [status window] to check the changes.

—Status window—

Name: Gabriel

Level 3

Attributes: [Summoner (Rare)]

→ Skills: [0]

→ Traits: [0]

There was nothing new in his Status Window, so he opened the attributes window.

<Attribute information>

[Attribute: Summoner] [Grade: Rare]

[Slightly increases information processing ability]

[■Summon Weapon]

[■Summon Minion]

As he already expected, he had not acquired a new ability. A disappointment, so he opened the skill information.

<Skill Information>

[Ability: Summon Minion]

[Level: 2] [Grade: Intermediate]

[Allows the summoning of a magical construction]

[The strength of the summon will be tied to the level of the skill and the summoner]

[Part of the experience gained by the summon will be shared with the summoner]

Seeing the new input of the skill, he couldn't help but be dumbfounded.

“So… All the monsters I killed… and the experience that was added went directly to the summon instead of me”

He didn't know how to feel about the newly acquired information. He had been wondering why he hadn't leveled up no matter how many monsters his summons killed, the answer was that he hadn't gained a bit of the Exp that he was able to gain if he killed them himself.

He felt stupid for not figuring it out, but as he hadn't expected since in games and the like this had never happened.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, she calmed down.

She couldn't cry over spilled milk, she could only continue now knowing that information.

In a complicated mood, they searched for some monsters.

They found a Goblin carrying a short dagger. Instead of the summon fighting, I directly went to face him using a sword instead of the usual spear.

This is to receive all of the monster's experience instead of just a part.

Walk slowly but surely towards him.

The Goblin noticed me quickly and said unintelligible words.

Smiling slightly, I continued walking towards him, a predatory smile forming on my face as I thought of finally passing from level 3 to 4.

The Goblin seeing this was slightly scared, but did not turn back or run. Though frightened, he was not a coward running from combat.

Gabriel admired the Goblin for not running, but that wouldn't change the fact that he would make it out of this place alive.

Once I get within a few meters of him, I raise my sword and with a light leap forward I close the distance in a moment between the two of them. I swing the sword at him in an attempt to end the battle quickly.

But the Goblin would not be easily killed. Ducking, he dodged the attack by a hair's breadth, and tightening his grip on the dagger, he thrust into Gabriel's stomach.

Gabriel saw this and without even hesitating launched a kick towards the Goblin .

The Goblin Corps received the attack squarely. Being thrown backwards and falling to the ground.

Although he managed to push the goblin away from him, in the process he lost his balance and fell abruptly to the ground.

Rearranging his position, he stood up and aimed his weapon at the Goblin , who had already gotten up faster than him and was about to launch an attack, but seeing that he had quickly positioned himself to defend against any incoming attacks, he hesitated and decided not to attack.

They both stared at each other for a moment. This lasted a few seconds until Gabriel decided to attack first, swinging his weapon back at the Goblin in a vertical attack.

The Goblin dodged the attack and aimed his weapon at Gabriel's arm, burying his dagger in the triceps part.

Gabriel grunted in pain, but taking advantage of the extremely short distance between them, he dropped his sword and quickly grabbed the Goblin 's dagger wrist.

Squeezing her until she finally dropped the gun.
Once he dropped the weapon, and before he did anything else he kicked the Goblin 's leg causing it to stumble and fall to the ground.

On the ground and before he could get up and take any action, he put his foot on the Goblin 's neck and increased the force until he finally stopped moving.

Seeing how slowly the goblin died, he could only think that he had to be more careful next time if he didn't want to be in his place.

Sighing, I look at his shoulder.

The dagger was stuck in his arm. He thought for a moment about removing the weapon, but he quickly denied it, after all he had already been through a similar situation and he didn't want to create a river of blood.

He instructed his summon to go kill some monsters so that it would level up quickly, now that the ability evolved it shouldn't take too long for that.

He sat down on the tree and removed the weapon, although he knew this would cause bleeding, he couldn't leave the weapon embedded once the empowerment occurred as it might prevent the area from being healed.

He lay there for a while, until about an hour later he suddenly felt the leveling effects.

His tired and exhausted body was revitalized and the lost blood was recovered. I joyfully check its status window, only to be met with a surprise.

—Status window—

Name: Gabriel

Level: 4

Attributes: [Summon (Rare) | General commander)]

→ Skills: [0]

→ Traits: [0]

He had obtained a new Attribute, [Commander].

He couldn't get much idea of what he was doing exactly, but it was obvious that it was related to leading or something very similar.

Opened the information for the new attribute to check.

<Attribute information>

[Attribute: Commander] [Grade: General]

[Allows you to read the battlefield situation more easily]

"Pretty disappointing," I mutter unconsciously.

Unlike [Summoner] which granted the ability to {summon Weapon}, [Commander] did not grant any abilities aside from an apparent passive that I really doubted would be of much use.

All the spirit he had gained quickly vanished. Even so, he kept a bit of optimism as he thought about the effects and possible skills he could get from increasing the attribute's grade.

With that thought, he activated his {Summon Minion} ability and his summon manifested.

Originally it should be far away from him, but using his ability he could summon it no matter how far away he is.

Reunited again, both of them continued to fight with the lone monsters.

This time unlike before, he was fighting directly to gain exp instead of just letting his summon fight.

They met a Kobold, and some Goblins . The surprising thing was that the battles were much easier than before, being able to eliminate them easily and without any problem.

He thought that this was due to the effects of his new attribute and his strength enhanced by the level increase. So there were no dangerous situations and they were easily solvable.

With that, time passed and by reaching level 5, night was drawing near.
