Q.10. How to treat Mana Exhaustion?

= In minor cases, mana exhaustion is actually pretty easy to treat. Often simply taking a rest or getting some sleep will remedy the problem. The Mana core will absorb mana on it's own and return to normal levels. If you ever experience mana exhaustion, try simply laying down and relaxing and avoid casting any more spells until you feel better.

In the case of more severe cases, enchanted objects that aid in the production of mana can help the magic user recover faster. It's a good idea to have someone around to monitor the patients condition to assure no further complications arise.

As soon as I entered my room, I searched for the bed. Today sure was exhausting.

Knock knock

'Ugh...who is it now?'

'Did than guy forgot to say something?'

I turned around and opened the door by swiping my id card in the scanning machine.

Smash!

A fist came smashing down straight on my face.

" Argh...."

' Who is it now?'

" Who are you?"

A deep voice echoed in the whole room. The black masked person spoke as he closed the door carefully.

" That's my line, you fucker."

Who the fuck is he? Barging into my room and smashing my handsome face.

" I asked, who are you? you weren't supposed to be here. How did this happen? Who messed up this time now?"

The figure just kept on mumbling while staring daggers at me. By his tone and shaking eyes, anyone can tell that this person was going through a major amount of stress.

" I should be the one asking you, who are you?"

I asked in a calm tone while massaging my face.

' That bastard hits too hard.'

" That's not important, tell me how did you get here?"

" Do you think I would tell you?"

" Is that so?"

Another smash straight on my face. The figure was getting more impatient as time goes by.

" For fuck's sake, don't hurt my face."

" Oh! I won't, if you tell me who you are?"

The figure came closer to me and lifted me by my hair.

" Talk who are you? And how did you get here? "

" Khuk..."

The figure tightened his grip on Rudra's neck while his other hand pulled down his head by the hair.

' Why isn't my skill activating?'

' Calm down'

' May be I am lacking in concentration.'

Rudra closed his eyes and stopped struggling. Sensing this, the figure loosened his grip on Rudra's neck.

Suddenly, Red fog spread in the whole room, slowly the smell of blood spread in the air and Rudra's body started emitting red energy causing the figure to back down.

" Hmm? A skill capable of instilling fear, is that the only skill you have? No that can't be. Tell me, what are you hiding? , how did you get here? , what is your purpose?"

The figure just backed down a little but wasn't scared rather he was being a bit careful.

' Damn ' Aura of the slaughterer' isn't having any effect.'

' I don't know who this guy is but I had enough being pushed around today. I will use all of my mana, let's see if you are still capable of resisting it.'

" Haa.."

Rudra took a long breath and-

" Aura of the Slaughterer."

A sudden burst of mana came from Rudra causing the Red hue to spread out of the room. Rudra's whole body was enveloped in red colour, his eyes shining bright red and a strand of his hair turned Red. An ambiguous figure materialised behind Rudra which caused a huge pressure to fall in the surrounding area, alerting all of those who are on the same floor.

The figure backed down again, but this time fear was evident in his eyes. But he soon regained his clarity and disappeared from the spot.

The ambiguous figure behind Rudra disappeared and Rudra fell unconscious.

" Damn it, I left that guy just for a second and he got into another trouble."

Evan screamed, and Ran toward Rudra's room.

Ethne and Erika who were chatting with him also ran behind him.

Evan reached in front of Rudra's room and started banging the door.

" Rudra, hey what happened?, Are you alright?, Damn it, answer me."

" Calm down Evan, you are getting too worked up."

" What was that pressure though."

" How can I not worry, when he isn't answering."

Evan kept banging on the door, but no response came.

" It's no use, I will call security staff to unlock the door."

Ethne said and ran straight toward the lift.

" Hey Evan, did something happen previously?"

Evan stopped banging on the door and looked toward Erika.

" What... do you mean?"

" Something must have happened for you to worry this much."

" I... those bastard from Class A bullied him this evening."

" And let me guess you didn't do anything."

Erika's spot on prediction was spot on which made Evan to turn his head down.

" Seriously, your habit of suspecting others is etched in your brain."

Sigh.....

" Erika, stop trying to make me the bad guy here. Everyone in our class don't trust him either including you. You were just respecting Father's words, don't you?"

" Yeah, this world is not a place for soft hearted fools who trust others easily. I just wanted to test him."

" You went too far by placing him in that perverted octopus's tank."

" I know, and I do feel guilty but it was necessary."

" Yeah, I too should have saved him from those bullies, but it was necessary." 

"" Stop blaming yourself.""

Evan and Erika looked at each other with a helpless smile.

"" We are the same.""

Again, the same word came out of their mouth at the same time.

"" Seriously, stop it already.""

"" Not again.""

" Stop it, you two idiots."

Ethne came from behind surprising both of them.

A female staff member came with her. She used an extra card to unlock the door.

As soon as the door opened, they found Rudra's figure collapsed unconscious on the ground.

" Hey Rudra, What happened?"

The group quickly entered the room. Evan lifted Rudra and put him on the bed. He checked his pulse and found it normal.

" How is he?"

" He is in a state of mana exhaustion. Nothing abnormal."

Evan answered calmly. He turned around and checked the room to find anything suspicious.

" He used up all of his mana as soon as he got in the room. why? Did someone attacked him?, But it's impossible given our academy's security."

He searched around but didn't find anything out of ordinary. The same simple room as everyone, spacious enough to be called a home for a family of 5, but without much decoration and personal belongings which is given since he is a new student.

" Haa... I am exhausted."
