Maintaining an appropriate distance from Miss Mana so as to deny accusations of being here alongside, we walk forward together. It seems like she had already purchased the tickets online and simply just showed the ticket on phone for the both of us. Entering the gate, a very typical amusement park image comes to my mind, this park I had already visited in the past with my friends but what about Miss Mana?

[Miss Mana you have been to this park before?]

[No, it's a first time for me]

[I see, I have been here before, so I know some fun places we can go to, what do you say?]

[ok]

hahh, she's really not much for a talk. This past week it has become very evident to me that Miss Mana is not a very social person, all the answers she gives in a conversation are straight and simple, you have to work really hard to bounce off it and continue the convo.

Her face is also so stoic that I can't tell what she's feeling at the moment, is she happy to be here? is she excited to be in this amusement park? I can't figure out these things at all.

In cases like hers, assumptions have to be made. Sometimes these random assumptions turn out to be positive and sometimes negative

[Hmm, how about we start with some thrilling and go for the rollercoaster? It's not very good but it is enjoyable for the first few times, so?]

[Ok, let's make our way over there]

Getting her approval we make our way to the rollercoaster, seeing the long line for it bums me out but since it was my idea I have to see it through. We join the line and the awkward atmosphere of silence surrounds us, everyone around us is chatting loudly and screaming while we two were just standing there like a bunch of lifeless puppets.

I would start a conversation with but I already know how most of it will end with her one liners, so I can't find the energy to even begin one.

She, of course, doesn't put in any effort of herself to start a conversation but that's to be expected.

Being engulfed by the awkwardness, my feet become cold and my stomach gives me the signal to quickly reach for a toilet.

[umm, Miss Mina, I have to use the toilet over there, so please hold my place in the line, I should be back in seconds]

[Alright, stay safe]

whaaa...? stay safe from what? We are not in a gang war over here, but I still appreciate her concern and pointing her in the direction of the toilet I take my leave

...

Washing my hands at the sink an exhausting sigh leaves my body, it was really tiring and difficult to talk to someone like Miss Mana. Every question I asked she answered but she never comes back with anything, talking to someone is supposed to be a fun enjoyable activity but with her something simple like that is just so annoying and frustrating

Maybe she just hasn't trusted me enough to start talking, yeah, let's go with that line of logic. But again why would she even invite me to this amusement park if she doesn't trust me enough to even go along with a convo.

Her brain really doesn't make sense.

But so doesn't mine, I mean what in the hell am I doing trying to become so friendly and chubby buddy with a murderer?

Another long sigh leaves my body and I surrender myself to the circumstances and leave the bathroom.

As I leave the bathroom and make my way toward the line, I suddenly bump into someone and my smartphone falls to the ground.

Shit, I should have been more careful while walking

[Oh! I'm sorry, extremely sorry. It seems like I wasn't paying much attention]

Quickly I apologize and lower myself to pick up the phone, as my hand reaches the phone suddenly someone grabs my hand and starts speaking nonsense

[Oi Oi Oi, who do you think you are little miss bumping into strangers like this?]

[Like I said, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention]

[Huh!!? Wasn't paying attention? What do you think this is? Your parent's backyard where you can just walk all carelessly ehhhh!!!]

Oh god, looks like the guys I bumped into are not in the good mood today. They seem to be in the mood for yelling at random strangers.

Cursing my bad luck for making today even more frustrating than it already is, I grab my phone from the ground and try to quickly leave the guys behind.

But of course, they don't let me escape so easily and put their hand on my shoulder. A sudden shock flows throw the spine and my creep radar starts signaling to me a Red alert.

[Little Miss, you gonna have to pay your big brothers for this shoulder injury you have caused my big bro here]

Yep, my radar was perfectly accurate.

I try to push away his hand on my shoulder and run away but my brave attempt fails as the so called "big bro" of his who's much stronger than the one before grabs my hand.

Just looking at him, he looks well built. Panic starts rising as I curse my judgment for not bringing pepper spray with me today. Usually, I have it on me, but I thought wrongfully that there's no way there would be creeps at a children's amusement park, guess that assumption was awfully wrong.

[Little Girl, come with us for a moment, let us alpha men teach you about some public decency] speaks the big guy

oh lord, what is this shitter doing calling himself alpha, is he a wolf? he a furry? like what is this new species of guys I'm seeing here

Suddenly, the big guy applies a bit of force and his hands holding my arm tighten, sending a tinge of pain through my body.

I look around and see families and people just ignoring the very obvious harassment going on around them, like cmon people, I forget to bring defensive tools with me one time and this how you treat me? Do I have to do everything by myself?!

[Cmon, I know a place good for a bit of education]

Panic that had started earlier now turns into fear and my body starts shaking uncontrollably

Oh god

Oh god

Oh god

[No need to be afraid, you are making it seem like we are some villains here, hahahaha]

[Yes, be a good girl and just listen to my big bro]

Tears start welling up in my ears and my entire brain goes into a state of frenzy.

No, No, No, this can't be happening.

Think

Think

Think

Yes! The police! Silently I hide my other arm holding the phone behind me and try to dial 911 emergency. I try to dial it but my hands shake so much that it was impossible to do anything on the phone.

Jeez, be brave me, calm down, calm down

But simply speaking words of encouragement doesn't help my body which was out of my control.

What do I do now?

what what what!?????

YES! SCREAM!

I try to shout for help but no sounds come out of my mouth. There's a thick something stuck in my throat, preventing me speaking or making any noise

As all paths seem to close one by one, a single unexpected path suddenly builds itself in front of me.

[Oi, What are you two pedos trying to do to my friend over here HUH!!!!????]

A strong and angry voice filled with overwhelming authority enters my ear and the next second someone Forcefully grabs the big guy's hands on my arm and instantly jerks it off, causing the big guy to loose balance and tumble down to the ground

Shocked, I look up and see Miss Mana standing beside me. Her rough but strong hands grab me and pull me behind her back.

The entire week, staring at the scene of the murder until this very moment, her faced had remained nothing but stoic but right at this very moment I see another expression she was capable of making.

An expression of disgust.

Like she's looking at some species even below than the bunch of ants beneath her feet.

During this time of need, no normal person around tried to save me except for the murderer.
