The white light shone all over him and he felt himself almost falling asleep. It was hard to tell how much time had passed. Minutes, hours, days. It didn't matter. Nick opened his heavy eyes to find himself lying on his back once again. This time surrounded by a few people he didn't recognize with worried looks on their faces. It was like waking up from a very deep sleep. Nick could barely think straight as the 2 people by his sides tried to get his attention.

"Oh god, Nick. I can't believe you were fine after all that!" The woman on his left spoke, suddenly embracing him in a tight hug. The first thing he noticed was her rather large chest now pressing against him. It didn't help that she was not only just pretty, but dressed in a swimsuit. A pretty orange top hung from her neck that matched well with her shoulder-length blonde hair. He continued to look at her pale skin as his eyes wandered lower, noting the frills on the bottom half of her orange swimsuit. "I've been awake for 20 seconds and this life is already better than my last one," Nick thought to himself as his recent memories came back to him.

"Get off him Amelie, he just woke up! He's even turning red, he might have a fever!" The girl on his right chimed in. "So her name is Amelie, I should remember that." Nick felt the beautiful lady let go of him as he looked into her green eyes for a moment, already willing to get lost in them. Taking his chance, he sat up straight, glad to no longer be on his back. He hadn't noticed it earlier, but he was covered in both sand and water. A quick glance around him showed that he was at the beach, but not one he's been to before. Now sitting up, Nick noticed that he was wearing just a pair of swimming shorts. The gears in his head turned and he made the connection that likely almost drowned. "What a way to start all of this..."

"I'm okay, thank you," Nick responded, noticing his voice was a bit different than he remembered it sounding. He took his eyes off the girl named Amelie, now taking in the girl on his right. Most notably, she had large blonde fox ears coming out of the top of her head, with fluffy purple fur coming from inside them. Like her friend, she was also a blonde, but unlike her, the other girl had a large fox tail coming from behind her to match the ears. She was tanner than Amelie, and her swimsuit showed less skin despite being much lewder. Her absolutely massive bust was held up by a leopard print top that could be bigger. Her bottom half was barely covered by a matching pair of panties and a skirt that were part of the swimsuit. It was impossible not to notice how thick and soft her tan thighs looked as he did his best not to stare.

"Do you want to go home..?" Amelie asked, still worried and clearly showing it on her face.

"I'll go get the carriage!" The unnamed girl responded as she stood up and ran past him.

"Thank you, Mia," the pale girl responded as she looked towards Nick. "You should probably take it easy for the rest of the day. Your academy stuff starts soon. Are you feeling okay?"

"Just... dizzy, I guess? My head is all over the place right now." Nick explained as he stood up with Amelie's helping hand. He didn't notice it when he was sitting in the sand, but both girls were a good bit shorter than him. He didn't feel any taller either, likely still at his unremarkable 5'10". Nick was already starting to worry about how to explain his lack of memories. Home? Academy? Was this hot girl his girlfriend? Wife? Far too many questions and no reasonable way to get any answers. Explaining that he was actually someone else from another world likely didn't bode well for him.

Amelie didn't have a chance to say anything more as the other girl, Mia, ran back to them. The horse carriage behind her stayed back, avoiding going further into the beach than necessary.

"You two are going home, yeah? I can't come with you but let me know that everything is okay as soon as you can." Nick nodded in response as Amelie thanked the fox girl again, before the two head for the carriage that would take him home.
