Darkness Attribute:
The Darkness attribute can control darkness, in other words, negative energy. Negative energy works by reducing positive energies, like heat, light, and mana to zero. It can also damage physical objects since the negative energy can solidify to create weapons, or damage the objects by bursting the energy like an explosion.
When combined with other attributes, the Darkness attribute can create attributes with evil nature. It can also enhance other attributes so that they display powers unlike their own.
Examples of combinations with the Darkness attribute:
- Moon, with Order
- Curse, with Chaos
- Hellfire, with Chaos and Fire
- Rot, with Death
- Shadow, with Light
- Gravity, with Earth
Uses of the Darkness attribute:
Darkness attribute users are known to be shady, but as they are experts of dark arts, they can also provide defenses against them.
In battle, a Darkness attribute user can nullify energy-type elements such as Fire and Light with their skills, replicate events such as explosions, or sabotage the opponent in many different ways. The Darkness attribute is also the only attribute that can resist the Darkness attribute in a straight-on fight.
The weakness of the Darkness attribute is that it cannot do much against material attributes such as Wind and Water. Also, the Darkness attribute lacks power-type moves that can literally destroy an opponent.
Alvatria's comment: And who's the best attri- what do you mean by 'shady'?!
Garami's comment: No matter how you see it, it's you. Go and apologize to all the users of Darkness attribute, including me.
yup he/she needs to learn all those magics he/she already has one of them and has enough points to buy the rest
Not planning on forcing magic on Garami though. Magic is just a hobby, and even if she has Darkness Divinity, or is the Champion of Darkness, she don't have Rot Divinity, or Shadow Divinity, or ect.
Even a Unique Skill for Darkness is in the end, A Unique Skill for Darkness, and nothing more. Those composition attributes are just close relatives to Darkness, and honestly, Garami would get too many cards to play, so many that I can't come up with any troubles for her to get into then.
There's also the question of her actually having the potential to get those attributes at all. Remember, they are similar to Darkness, but also something completely different.
@Greydra ya but his/her race has a inherent aptitude for those magics or did you forget its description and he/she doesn't need the elements for all of them getting moon, gravity and hellfire magics would even out her capabilities by quite a lot because of what you said about darkness magic and poison element being a poor match against undead she will need more options such as those elements
@Noxsis Relax. You should know our favorite spider-demon now to know that she won't be beaten by the first nasty-looking Skelly she stumbles over.
Besides, all those Darkness-related component skills don't sound too strong against undeads anyway. Except Gravity, which I think is a little too force heavy for her.
@Greydra And would imagine Gravity as a crude mace anyway, as gravity is a very potent, but very difficult force to control (which is far from the preferred method garami would prefer to use.), which forces most uses of it, at least in general media, to be crude in how it's applied, isn't it?
@Greydra HELLFIRE when is hellfire not good against the dead burn them to ash and when it comes to ghost type undead helfire should still be able to burn them given that its hellfire and not regular fire also moon would work well with his/her skill set
@FlutterOfCrows Mostly crude in everything it does. And difficult to control as well. No being in Terra Sol's history have even been close to create a black hole, even with an accident.
@Noxsis hellfire curses the target, but aren't undeads already cursed?
