This is a complete story. It's serialized only because I was advised this will be helpful to its popularity. While this story is intended to be the first in a series, it is written so that it can be read as a completely standalone work – there is no annoying cliffhanger at the end, and all major plot points find their resolution by the finale.

Also, the front cover is a placeholder (obviously); I have neither the artistic talent, nor useful connections, nor financial capital to afford a proper cover. So I made do with what I had, utilizing available resources to the best of my ability.
