When Axel first read that he was ranked 9th, he was shocked thinking who could've possible been faster. But what he didn't know was that the top 100 didn't have the difference of seconds, but milliseconds. Due to this it was almost upto luck when their zombie died.

Axel was actually a 17 year old from India, he had always loved reading webnovels and came to China to see how it would actually be. He didn't have any parents, and lived under the care of the state. It was only by using his own inheritance money did he sneak away from his hoke and got on a plane to China. But less than a week after he came to China, the so called evolution test took place.

Axel wasn't even the boy's real name, he just used it because that was the name of his favorite anime character.

Though Axel was a bit disappointed that he was ranked 9th, he didn't feel too bad and quickly opened the quest first.

As soon as Axel read the quest he unlocked his phone and entered the coordinates in it. It didn't take a few seconds before the result appeared - Jiuzhaigou.

Despite being ranked 7th Axel found himself very close to the location it was within 50 kilometres from him! This was because the system had just like it said, kept the reward in the center of where most of the top 9 ranked were and this was in the northern side of China.

Not wasting a single second because the others might win, Axel mentally decided from two options. One was to run all the way because after what just happened taxis definitely won't be working, and the other one was to steel a vehicle and drive there himself.

While the first one was more safer, it would take him a very long time and someone else might get there. The second option was very risky since he didn't even hold a proper lisence and might get arrested later on, but he would definitely get there quicker.

'Ahhhh! Screw it! If everything is real, than in 7 days there would definitely be an apocalypse, I might as well do what I can before that!'

Making his decision Axel found a cab with a driver inside it blankly staring into space, deciding to pull him out and drive the taxi to his destination.

However just as he was about to move, a black colored sedan car stopped in front of him.

While Axel was thinking about what was happening, a nature beauty stepped out of the driving seat and walked upto him.

Looking at the beauty coming close to him, Axel couldn't help but almost forget about the quest and gulped down his feeling for her.

"Hello husband, shall we go and collect your Bloodline?"

Though Axel had never met the woman before, and didn't know why she was calling him husband, he almost nodded his head as if he was sure that the mature woman in front of him would never harm her. But somehow he managed to keep his calm head and looked at her suspiciously.

Noticing Axel's look, Akane inwardly nodded her head. He truly was someone that wouldn't make a rash decision before having enough information. Despite how arrogant he was, he wasn't stupid.

“You don't have to worry husband, I'm not trying to steal your reward. After all I even know where exactly it is because I came back from the future. Of course you can choose to not trust me, but if you get in the car I'll lead you to the exact location where the reward is at.”

What was happening went against all the stories he read till now, a completely new never before read development. No where did he read about someone who came back to the past helping others instead of growing strong themselves.

However, it was indeed true that going with her would make the trip faster and safer for him who didn't have much experience driving.

Nodding his head Axel could only say 'okay' after which he got in the passangse seat.

Having already expected this, Akane smiled and got in the driver seat after which she went as fast as possible.

"I know that you probably still don't trust me, or believe the fact that I'm from the future. So how about this, I'll tell you the exact location of where the rewards are and not even come close, will this make you believe in me?"

"Of course. But if you know where the rewards are, why are you giving them to me instead of taking them for you? Are the rewards that unworthy?"

Unable to understand why the woman was so easily giving up on the rewards, Axel felt something was amiss.

"What? No! Honestly, I'm still a little tempted to take them. However, if I do that I'll just be repeating what I did in the past. So letting you take them like you did the first time would indeed be the best option."

Understanding Axel's doubt Akane patiently answered him, after all she even made sure to not be in the top 9 because this would make him lose the chance of obtaining the quest.

The rest of the ride went in complete silence as Axel tried to familiarize himself with the system. Following what he read in the many novels he found that there were no special words that would trigger the system, and instead all he needed to do was will for it.

What made Axel astounded was that not only did the talent not give him any bonus stats, or show how much additional percentage of damage he could deel with them. Even the weapon didn't show any stats, level requirement or any such thing.

The more Axel thought about it, the more he felt it didn't have an mmorpg look at all, when he obtained the weapon the system showed him how the weapon looked and asked if he wanted to equip them or remove from the inventory.

This made Axel's idea that maybe it wasn't a total game like he read in webnovels. If this was like this, then it might be possible that killing monsters that would appear won't give him any EXP, which would mean there weren't any such things as levelling up by hunting either!

As Axel was lost in thought Akane kept on driving not bothering to interrupt Axel's thoughts.

Though everyone outside of China knew they wouldn't be able to obtain it, they still hoped that the treasure chest would be so well hidden that no one would be able to find it until they reached their destination.
