Meng Lin watched as the ingredients began to heat up and mix together, her heart calming with ease.

As the timer reached its end, the furnace glowed brighter and a small pill appeared floating above the furnace.

Meng Lin quickly grabbed the pill with her hand as she didn’t care for the heat, she examined it carefully.

It was a small, white pill with a faint glow, just like the ones that De Sijie and Xi Lin had made.
