"I'm Victor! I like pasta and minding my own business!" I was as simple and direct as possible in my presentation

Bella beside me took a deep breath "I'm I- Isabella Snow and I hope to get along with you!"

Bella tried her best to appear sociable and nice, only to fail miserably.

As she's said before, she wasn't the most charismatic person in the world.

"Okay, do you two know each other?...I mean, you seem to get along!" Someone in the front row asked, it was a pale white girl, not as pale as Bella but pale, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Interesting, already wanting to know more about transfer students in search of some loophole huh!

"Yes, we live in the same house" Bella replied obviously and I widened my eyes.

No! you didn't do it Bella! I felt like banging my head against the wall at the mess Bella had caused!

The whispers started and it started to get chaotic, I looked at the teacher but, he too was too shocked to do anything.

"We're related!... my mother is like a sister to Bella's father" I replied quickly ending the misunderstandings as quickly as possible

I honestly didn't know Charlie and my mom's right relationship! They say they are brothers, but there is no similarity between them and I think it is a delicate subject to touch.

"I understand, class, aside from the misunderstanding, please treat the new students well" The teacher was the first to come out of shock

He then looked at me and Bella, and pointed to the empty chairs "Isabella, please sit next to Jessica, the lady who asked and Victor, sit next to Mike"

Looking at the empty chair that had a boy in it I assumed that was Mike! I walked over to the chair and pushed it away from the table to sit down.

"Victor" I extended my hand to him

"Mike! Your relative is beautiful introduce me?" The guy's first words to me were literally a request for me to get Bella ready for him.

I tried not to roll my eyes and smiled gently "Go to her and unroll!"

"So you have nothing against it?" Mike asked and I understood what he wanted to get across

"No! as I said before, she is my relative!... I not have an interest in her" I replied watching the smile growing on his face

"We're going to be great friends" He replied happily and made me shake my head at the boyishness of the guy

The class went by and it was really boring and to make it worse, I was starting to get hungry.

When the break came, I got up as quickly as possible and headed towards the exit. I could feel the bloodlust rising by the second

My blood bags ran out yesterday and I ended up feeding on a rabbit, today is hell!

Animal blood does not sustain! with a blood bag, I could go 4 to 7 days without feeding on blood.

With animal blood, it was the opposite, I felt hungry after less than 5 hours after the last meal.

The blood bag I drank yesterday was also triggered, a little left over, less than 300 ml of blood

I had to go out and hunt, to get back to school.

"Victor, wait for me... let's have lunch together!" I heard Bella's voice calling my name and I looked back to see her running after me.

"Okay" Damn! I'll have to endure!

Doing my best to suppress my bloodlust, I made my way to the school cafeteria where there were lots of snacks... I mean people.

"Victor…Bella…come have lunch with us?" Mike's scream caught my attention, honestly I barely heard what he said, my mind was in a mess

"Shall we go with them...?" Bella asked nudging me

"Clear!" I replied with a fake smile, damn it's getting worse

I sat down with Mike's group and everyone was talking, Mike was trying to hit on Bella who didn't talk, she even seemed a little uncomfortable

She would sometimes look at me from the corner of her eye... looking like she was asking for help and with my mind almost full of thirst, I was about to rip Mike's throat out when everything calmed down.

My thirst went away as if it had never had an effect on me.

"Who are they?" Bella asked beside me causing me to look at the group I quickly recognized as the Cullens.

"They're the Cullens, Alice is the one humming, Jasper and Lorena are the two next to her, Emmett the big guy and his girlfriend Rosalie, the last one is Edward the hottest in school, or rather one of!!" Jessica spoke with a bit of awkwardness about the cold ones

the last sentence, she said looking between me and Mike! I got the reference, she can be an easy snack... what the hell am I thinking? man that's wrong!

"They are related and dating!" Bella asked curious

"In their defense, they are adopted" Eric replied with a shrug.

"Makes sense" I replied wanting to avoid drawing the attention of their super ears as I've probably already caught the attention of one

I looked at them and more precisely at Jasper who waved at me, as I thought!

"You should know about this... your mother is a doctor, it is not?.. their father is also so possibly you will meet them"

True and problematic, actually the most problematic would be Edward, but as far as I know, vampires from The Originals have a mind shield ability and Mother Nyx certainly won't let the cold get into my mother's mind. so I'm calm about the secret, I just have to deal with one of them in particular so the secret doesn't leak

"No, worry, there are very few of us who know your type" The whisper was so low that I could only hear it with great effort, but, I heard

I looked back and saw that Jasper waved at me again

"Did you say something?" I heard Edward's voice next to Jasper

"No! your imagination" Jaspar replied with a smile

"I'll believe it" I replied loudly making Bella and the people at the table look at me

"In what?" Bella asked

"That my team will win the NBA" I replied, pushing aside the doubt
