Miles was instantly caught off guard as he saw the contents of the new holographic screen.

Holy shit!

His shock could be understood, After all, skills like being a scientist, engineer, etc. could take one very far, especially in a world like this where even famous scientists could easily increase their strength through experimentation.

Miles hurriedly opened his status screen and looked for a change in the listing of Abilities.

under his "Abilities" section, a new category had been created and named "Life-Skills".

Miles couldn't help but smile as he saw the upgrade requirement.

Without thinking twice Miles immediately upgraded his Engineering skill to Lvl 1.

in a short moment, Miles began gaining information and seeing visions of the foundation of Engineering.

Even at Level 1, Miles felt like he could use this skill to make small gadgets that could even rival those of the ones made by Ganke Lee.

"Fuck, this is crazy" Miles hurriedly swung away from the scene and returned to the large tree he was on previously.

"How powerful would my engineering abilities become if I upgraded it once more?" Miles couldn't help but smile at this thought, perhaps if he continued raising its level he could become comparable to figures such as Tony Stark and even Reed Richards.

He could create his super suit, weapons, and many more, it was amazing.

"If I gained the scientist skill, that would even be crazier," Miles thought silently before staring at his minuscule amount of system points.

"I still need to gain more system points" He sighed deeply, and without another word, he immediately released his webs and swung into the night sky.

A few hours went by as Miles swung through the most dangerous parts of New York one by one, randomly defeating bad guys and saving civilians who ended up in miserable situations.

With Miles' invisibility ability which was like a godly power at night due to the darkness masking the distortions around his body, he was able to easily defeat delinquents and then easily leave the scene as if he was never there.

By the end of the night, Miles had garnered at least 85 points easily just like that.

Miles now had more than 100 points, which was more than enough to upgrade some of his other abilities, but he decided to wait for now at least.

Sitting on a large bus, Miles couldn't help but contemplate how he would use his new engineering skill to the best of its Abilities.

After all, he would need it heavily if he wanted to create his technology instead of having someone else do it.

"There is also the matter of making money, I can't buy materials and shit without any money" Miles frowned with an agitated expression, although he could use the tech room at school, the materials there were limited and he really couldn't do much.

Even Ganke Lee had a hard time making extremely good gadgets for Miles using the Tech room.

What was the fastest way to get money? 

Stealing? 

that was a crazy question to ask.

Miles suddenly got an idea, New York was a large and bustling city filled with many people, especially many rich people.

And in the underworld, many rich people were involved in shady businesses.

"If I can get one of these rich underworld people to work for me, wouldn't I have a nice supply of money? By then I could create a hideout and build whatever I need" Miles became excited at this thought and couldn't wait to execute his plan.

Of course, Getting those underworld rich people to become his Lackey was easier said than done.

Perhaps it could be done if he....showed off his abilities a little.

Miles silently closed his eyes and began resting, He wasn't too worried about the other spider people and what they had to do.

if they needed his help they would call, which was inevitable actually.

But before Miles could rest for even a few minutes, his spider senses immediately began tingling.

"What's goin' on?" Miles couldn't help but sit up immediately and began looking around.

A few seconds went by before many people immediately began panicking, Miles who was still confused immediately sat up and began assessing the situation.

this was a good time to gain more system points.

"Everyone, we have an emergency, the bus has suddenly malfunctioned and is moving chaotically, please calm down as we try to fix this problem" A voice was heard from the speakers at the top of the bus.

the bus driver tried to calm down the passengers, but no matter what he said, it only proved to make the situation worse.

As they were on a bridge, the large bus heavily crashed into other cars before it began speeding towards the edge of the huge bridge.

"Shit" Miles felt his heart drop immediately, his eyes glimpsed at the large body of water through the window and he couldn't help but turn serious.

Miles grabbed a makeshift Spiderman mask he had bought from the dollar store and leaped towards the safety hatch at the top of the bus.

With a simple push, Miles opened the safety hatch and immediately appeared atop the bus in an instant.

"Oh shit"

"Who is that" many people on the bus exclaimed in shock as they saw Miles' sudden movements, from leaping into the air to easily opening the safety latch and then flying out of the bus.

fuck! take me with you, bro.

Many people thought they had been abandoned, As the large bus began rocking back and forth and sped towards the edge of the bridge, many people's eyes turned lifeless as they imagined the worst.
