Part 3

An hour passes, Luan and Mary seem anxious, they really want to know how things are going at the meeting, Kenji seems focused on listening to what the teacher is explaining, as always he is very focused and responsible, he is an excellent Secretary in the Student Guild, helping out in the Treasury as well, but he doesn't give up a good gossip, he is always up to date with things that happen at school, they haven't rehearsed with the band for a few days, they need to practice even if it's at the weekend, it helps to relax a bit.

When the break bell rings, Luan and Mary run out of the classroom, the Disciplinary Board meeting must have finished, Kenji goes more slowly, he's confident of a good result, he honestly thinks:

(They're the same age, but sometimes they look like two children....ah, there they are already competing to see who gets there first).

The meeting is over, the adults are just chatting about other matters, the three girls are sitting on the bench next to the Board, their faces don't look very good, is this a sign that they've finally been punished?

Grandpa Han and Luke are talking to the Principal, they seem more serious, the others are like a bunch of macaws shouting, they talk loudly, they laugh, Luan arrives at the door and looks around, waiting for someone to say something, the Principal and his secretary get up and walk out of the Principal's door towards the school exit, he gives Luan a slight smile, Luan returns the smile, he thinks it's a bit strange, but he doesn't want to think about it, he goes straight to Grandpa Han, and asks:

"Grandpa, do we have a final verdict yet?

He calls Mary and Kenji into the room, while the rest of the Meeting participants leave the room, Grandpa Han tussles with his moustache as he waits for everyone to leave, and asks them to close the door.

"Let's get straight to the point, we did get a punishment, well I've never been in favor of expelling anyone from school after all I'll just be passing the problem on to another school to solve, I don't like that unless the students ask for a transfer, it's just that we only managed to transfer student C at her Father's request, it seems he's been talking to the Rector, the other two remained at this school, They will have to make a formal apology to the victims and will do voluntary work, and the Coordination and the Student Guild are in charge of monitoring the progress, and will pass on all the information directly to the Board, the judicial process takes a while, but soon we will have the decision of the prosecutor's office on the victim protection law. "

Luan sighs deeply and says:

"In short, the victims are going to have to keep looking at the faces of their aggressors, the famous one conversation is enough."

Mary puts her hand on Luan's shoulder and says:

"I didn't expect much, coming from my uncle, well we'll try our best, but it's complicated not depending on us alone."

Luan adds:

"If it had been at my old school, it would have just been a conversation with the guidance counselor, she would have put a mark in the notebook to talk to the person, and then they would have mediated, like a boy who picked on me, but we both managed to resolve the situation."

Everyone is curious how Luan resolved the situation, so Mary asks:

"And how did you resolve it, Luan?"

Luan scratches his head and says:

"One day, I got angry and hit him with a stick, after that, we became friends."

Luke gives a smile, thinking "good boy", Grandpa Han notices and gives Luke an ugly look, indicating that he has to correct him to set a good example, Luke just says:

"Keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer."

Suddenly they hear voices coming from the corridor, a voice familiar to Luan and Kenji, they look at each other's faces and say at the same time:

"Damn, it's Theo, we have to go there!"

Theo is saying something to the girls, but he's not going to hit anyone, not least because Derick is holding him back, he seems very angry talking loudly.

"You should be ashamed of yourselves, you should do everyone a favor and change schools, I can't even look at your faces, because of you my sister Olivia had to go away, and stop doing what she likes best which is singing! If I see you harassing anyone again, you're screwed."

Derick continues to hold him and calm him down:

"Calm down Theo, I know you're upset, I would be too, but it'll only make things worse."

One of the girls starts to cry, while one consoles her the other gets up and leaves and says:

"Hunf, I said just change schools, it's that simple."

Luan is already next to Theo, and listens, he points to the incident folder and says:

"Hm, don't forget what I told you, your past goes with it, let's see how many schools you hide in then, I'm anxious now. I wonder how many days you'll last in it?"

He laughs, pats Theo on the shoulder and says:

"We'll keep an eye on them, stay calm Theo, the next ones are Tommy and San, save your energy for them too." Everyone has to go back to their classrooms, they haven't even had their break, Mary hands out cereal bars to everyone, it'll last them until lunch. They return to their classrooms, the rest of the lessons are going well, the last exams are scheduled before the winter break, so some students stay after lunch at school to study, Luan and Derick need to exchange information about the files, and decide to go home, after all it's important information to comment on around other people. The two of them return home and pick up the summary they typed up with some more information than they had in the system, but it looks like it's going to take a while for them to analyze everything, so they decide to work together and ask their parents for help, after all, their knowledge as hunters will help a lot, and they still have exams to study for.

Derick is concentrating on his studies, Luan is studying a little but he can't concentrate, he's an intelligent boy, he writes things down easily, but there's something he sometimes calls laziness, he really could be better at his studies, but he thinks it's enough to stay average, Derick is different, he's above average, a little studying is enough to get good grades, 2 hours have passed, Luan closes his book and then closes Derick's book, and says:

"Shall we go for a short walk?"

Derick doesn't understand, he frowns and says:

"Luan, concentrate on your studies, this is no time for a walk..."

Luan fiddles with his Time Clock, then takes Derick's arm, time is paused, Derick feels a strange sensation, when Luan signals with his hands and a Vertical Portal opens in front of him, and Luan pulls Derick into it, a light comes into Derick's eyes and ends up closing them, when he slowly opens his eyes and notices that he is somewhere else, there are many mountains that look like sand dunes, the sky has a reddish tinge, he soon notices that there is a lake a little ahead and some desert vegetation, then he notices that there are some demons that look a lot like some from the Awakening Test, some look injured others seem to have recovered, then he looks at Luan and asks:

"Is this the portal you created?"

"Yes, welcome to my portal to Hell, Derick."

.....
