So heads up for Reddit users who moved over here for the story there'll be further delays, that'll also affect those of you who are fresh from scribblehub. I got some of my work done during these weeks, but not enough, and there's still one more week left of this class to get shit done, then turn it in. On top of that, this following semester starting next week, I have four classes scheduled due to how my credits for them worked out. So I don't know if I'll be able to work on this novel because of how much higher the workload will be. It's kinda a wait-and-see thing. That said if I manage to pass my current class and next semester's classes, I'll be done after December 16th. As long as my GPA stays above 2.0 I'll be able to graduate otherwise it'll all be a waste. No graduation. So as you can guess I'm on edge. It's important I get this done and get it right. Hence uncertainty as far as when I'll be able to next write a chapter for Humans Are Gods.
That said for those of you curious about what type of schooling I'm talking about, it's an online college non-degree certificate program for software solutions and web design. I know a mouthful, but think of it as a vocational school for coding at an online college. The certificate will be useful for landing a job as a web developer, especially since it's Devry. All said and done hopefully I can get a job in web development to help get my foot in the door of the coding sector. My employment prospects aren't great but worst comes to worst I can work for my Uncle who owns a company, probably in a low-level position, or work for my Aunt who co-owns a small restaurant chain. Again probably in a low-level position. That said I would prefer not to, I don't want to rely on them to land a job unless I have no choice. All said and done at the end of the day despite my lack of much higher education and very lacking work experience at 27, I'm very blessed.
I know this has been a huge rant, not purely an announcement but, life, the world, and humanity. Whatcha gonna do? Sometimes it just is what it is.
