Jason was currently looking at the mountain range typography around the ski resort. Even though the location was different than in the plot, both places had the same typography.

"Are you sure that particular plot event will happened just because he is now in a ski resort with the same typography as in the plot. I mean, even the weather forecast simulation and other databases can't detect if an avalanche will suddenly happened," Jason was skeptical.

So far they knew Bai Wehan's system seem like a normal love system where it could cause people to have good impression on the host, measure the favorability level and do some small tricks like hypnosis and made certain items became bad but could it also caused an avalanche to happen?

Isn't that too overpowered?

[In the plot, the weather is also so good but avalanche still happen so the probability of it's happening here is still high.]

"Well, I don't really care if it happens or not since me and Zheng Roufeng will not be getting involved."

He already told Zheng Roufeng that he had a nightmare and because of the nightmare, neither he nor Zheng Roufeng were allowed to ski. Zheng Roufeng almost laughed when he said that but decided to obey him even though he didn't believe in the nightmare much.

For him, wherever Jason go or do, he will just accompany and go along with him.

In the plot, Bai Wehan would save Gu Junling during the avalanche so Jason wanted to see if the increase of Gu Junling's affection level might affect Bai Wehan's already low Luck level.

Jason and Zheng Roufeng has just finished their job. They planned to go to the hot spring later on. Fortunately the drama crew would be at another hot spring thus he didn't need to bother much with it.

Jason didn't really like public bath house or hot spring with a lot of people but since Zheng Roufeng never went to a hot spring before, Jason decided to bring him there.

Since he didn't like to use other people's toiletries or the supplied toiletries by the resort, he brought his own.

But who would have thought that they would stumble upon the drama crew team when they were on their way to their private hot spring.

"Jason, I never thought I would meet you here. Are you guys going to the hot spring too?" Bai Wehan asked seemingly friendly but Jason knew Bai Wehan never genuinely friendly towards him.

Jason couldn't help but glanced towards Zheng Roufeng, 'No wonder he is being friendly. Need to behave in front of the other so called love interest huh.'

"Since we've met here, let's all go together," Zhou Qifeng, the male lead of the drama suggested since he had a good impression on Jason and he didn't recognized Zheng Roufeng who was only wearing a white short sleeve shirt and a black tracksuit.

"Yes, that's right. The more the merrier isn't it?" Bai Wehan also agreed while the other crews didn't seem to mind and even said some supportive words since they all have good impression on Jason.

Who dare to shoo away their Director's friend.

Jason couldn't help but felt Bai Wehan might have planned something and it might be related to either him or Zheng Roufeng or maybe both.

Jason eyed Bai Wehan for a while before he smiled slightly and said, "Ok sure."

Seeing Jason agreeing to go with them, Zheng Roufeng also didn't say much and just follow along.

'007, can you monitor the protagonist. I think he might be up to something.'

[Sure.]

Went they arrived at the hot spring, everyone was excited that they immediately soaked inside it and some couldn't help but make a relief and relaxed moaning sound.

Jason already put away his toiletries in the locker room. The resort prepared normal shower room near the locker room for those who wanted to take a shower after soaking in the hot spring and Jason was the type to shower after being in a public hot spring.

So far, Bai Wehan didn't do anything odd. He seem to have good relationship with the drama crew. All the female drama crew were at a different hot spring so Jason just assumed that he also have good relationship with them based on his system ability.

"Hey Jason, how do you know Zheng Roufeng," a voice suddenly said to him.

It was Gu Junling. It was unknown when he arrived.

Zheng Roufeng on the other hand just went out of the hot spring to buy some drinks for Jason and Jason was too focus on Bai Wehan just in case Bai Wehan decided to follow Zheng Roufeng. Fortunately the protagonist stayed in the hot spring.

"We're childhood friend," Jason didn't know what was the reason Gu Junling suddenly inquired about him and Zheng Roufeng.

"Oh I never know that," Gu Junling was being honest.

He never thought Jason and Zheng Roufeng were childhood friends. First, Zheng Roufeng was one of the most influential businessman in the country and second, Jason seem low key thus he never thought Jason would have such a connection.

If Jason was able to be Zheng Roufeng's childhood friend, doesn't that mean he also...

"What's wrong?" Jason couldn't help but asked when Gu Junling just remained silent and kept on staring at him.

"Are you also a second generation rich kid?"

"I don't know what level of rich you're talking about but if having a resort like this and owning this mountain ski range is considered rich, so maybe I'm."

"This ski resort is yours?!" Gu Junling couldn't help but felt surprised.

"They are father's not mine. I'm just an idol. Didn't I tell you before?" Jason answered nonchalantly since it was true.

Gu Junling now understand how Jason could easily offer him to come to the resort without much hassle. Seeing that Jason also wasn't as arrogant as other rich second generation and being the friend of Zheng Roufeng who also didn't seem to mind mingling with ordinary people from various walk of life, no wonder nobody knew he was rich.

"Stop looking at me as if you're not a rich second generation yourself."

"Haha, you also know about that huh. But my family never agree of me being an actor and a movie director. For them, the entertainment circle is too chaotic and unpredictable. People will hate you even when you did nothing wrong."

"I don't think you're the type of person to care much about what people said," Jason said as a matter of fact.

"Well, what is the use for me to continue worrying about what other people's thought of me? Aren't you the same?"

While Gu Junling and Jason were chatting, Bai Wehan also noticed the two of them. Despite him seemingly not paying attention, how could he not know when others also noticed it.

"Director Gu and Jason seem pretty close aren't they?"

"I heard they were alumni from the same university. Maybe they have known each other since their time there," Zhou Qifeng replied since he didn't want anyone to think any crook ideas about Jason.

He had talked to Jason a few times thus he knew that the rumor about Jason seemed a bit exaggerated.

Rude? Lazy? Pretentious?

He never seen or heard Jason acting rude and being lazy seem out of question since Jason's seem pretty hardworking. Pretentious? Why didn't he see it?

"Yes, that's true. Jason had known Director Gu since their study in university. They first met at a student event," Bai Wehan said with a smile.

He couldn't just said that Jason was bothering Gu Junling for resources when even Zhou Qifeng already said something positive, can he?

However at the same time, his heart felt unwilling. He was already being reborn. This is his second life so how could he let the same thing happened again.

Looking at Jason who was still chatting with Gu Junling, Bai Wehan couldn't help but clenched his hands. Fortunately his hands were under water so nobody saw it.

After almost an hour, the crew decided to get out from the hot spring since soaking too long in hot water also not good.

When they were walking towards the shower room, they had to walk passed by the female locker room first and coincidentally they met up with familiar faces that wanted to enter the locker room.

"Hey! Jason! Remember this sister?" One lady said while waving her hand. Her name was Cindy Wang, a makeup artist. She always had good relationship with celebrities despite not being one.

"How are you sister Cindy?" Jason said politely.

"No need to be too polite. It seems you guys also just finished soaking huh. What is that in your hand Jason?" She grinned teasingly when she saw the baby shampoo in Jason's hand.

"I got this from a lucky draw at a supermarket. It's a waste not to use it," Jason answered.

"Oh really. I would never thought that you're so economical."

"I heard that this shampoo is good for washing brush," another female actress said.

"Brush? What brush?" Gu Junling was confused and couldn't help but blurted out a question.

"Make-up brush. It is said that the shampoo doesn't damage the bristles while cleaning and the brush will remain soft."

Most of the guys who heard it had no idea what to say since most of them didn't wear makeup unless the makeup artist do it for them.

"Oh I heard about that as well. I wanted to give it a try but I was worried it might be just a hoax. After all it's not a professional makeup item," Cindy said.

Looking at Jason, Cindy couldn't help but smiled and said, "Jason why not you give this sister a bit of that shampoo. Just a bit. Just enough to fill this cup."

There was a small polystyrene cup in Jamie's hand around 10cm height and 5cm wide.

"Let us try first so that if it works we can buy the big bottle," someone supported Jamie.

Jason just nodded his head since he didn't mind even if they wanted half of the shampoo but before Jason could give it to them Bai Wehan suddenly interjected, "No that's not good."

"Why not? Have you tried it before?" Cindy asked him curiously.

"No I have not but..."

Ignoring Bai Wehan, Jason said, "It's ok sister. Just pass me the cup."

Jason immediately open the lid of the shampoo and the moment he wanted to pour the shampoo into the cup, he couldn't help but sense something was odd.

"Eh? I think the shampoo seem to have gone bad."

"Really? How can that be? Does shampoo also have an expiry date?" Cindy was also confused.

"Of course they have," Gu Junling said but he also stare at the shampoo in Jason's hand.

Zheng Roufeng remained silent the whole time.

"The smell isn't right and there's a strange acidic odor. It wasn't like this the last time I used it."

"Acidic? Wasn't shampoo supposed to be alkaline? So even if it's expired, it shouldn't smell like this right?" Cindy also took a sniff , "Tsk, it does smell sour and it stung my nose."

"Isn't this weird?" Zheng Roufeng suddenly said and all the people's attention suddenly were all towards him.

"What's weird?" Gu Junling couldn't help but asked.

"I've watch a horror movie before about two sisters competing for status and one actually poured sulfuric acid into the others bathing water so when she used it, her skin started to became red and seemed corroded as if she was being burn," Zheng Roufeng said as if he was trying to remember the movie he watched.

"Just thinking about it make my skin crawl. That must be painful," Cindy commented.

"Sulfuric acid...What does it smell like?" Jason muttered.

However Bai Wehan immediately said, "Jason, just use mine. You can throw away that shampoo."

"Oh ok," Jason replied nonchalant but he didn't throw away the shampoo instead he gave it to someone else's while the others already entered the shower room.

"Young master, what should we do with this?"

"Check the ingredients of the thing contains inside this shampoo bottle and I want the complete report in two hours."

When he entered the shower room, unexpectedly Zheng Roufeng was waiting for him, "That Bai Dehan did something to your shampoo, didn't he?"

"His name is Bai Wehan and why do you say that?" Jason didn't answer his question.

"Tsk, you're not dense Jason so how could you not realized that Bai Wehan didn't seem to like you much. It's too obvious that a blind man can also see it."

What Zheng Roufeng said was true. Bai Wehan never really like Jason and it was quite obvious but the original Jason only thought maybe it was because of the incompatibility of their personality or something minor so he didn't care much.

"I know but what did I do to him that make him wanted to pour acid on me? Did I snatch his lover? Did I steal his hard earned saving? Or burn his family's ancestral house? I didn't do anything."

"Crazy people doesn't need any reason to harm someone," Zheng Roufeng said,

"So inform me if you get the result for that shampoo so I can warn Raebin to tell your other group members to be careful just in case. We can also use the test result as an evidence to put a restraining order on him if he acted again. We both know well enough how dark human's heart can be."

"Ok," Jason also didn't say much.
